I appreciate the boop and thanks for thinking of me! Howeverrrrr I’m gonna be a downer here, I don’t wanna make anyone feel left out for not getting brought up…

There are a lot of beautiful souls in the fandom and I’m incredibly lucky to be around them! And I’ve had the exquisite privilege of nudging a few into doing brand new things and watching them grow is such a pleasure so like…

I’ll not gonna tag em but I have some friends who barely interacted with fandom before and are now writing fanfic frequently! And I’ve been doing this so long that I forget how scary it is to be new in these kinds of environments but they jumped right in and babes I’m so proud of you okay just believe me.

It’s hard to feel appreciated in fandom without direct communication, so maybe this response is actually worse but… safe to say I wouldn’t be able to choose only three people anyway ❤️ i can’t even pick a favorite fic because it depends on my mood!

(I can pick a favorite series but that’s because the gifters made me cry on my birthday 🥳 they know who they are)

While I think it's cute and necessary to subtitle all the boops from Droids in star wars games I wish sometimes they'd ad like what the Droid is saying. In brackets to distinguish they're speaking in binary. But since it's understood that like for instance cal can understand bd1s binary speak I think it'd be nice if the game let the player understand too.

BD1 hopped around and then found the table, hopping to where Fan was.

“Beep de boop!”

He tilted his head and then hopped onto the table. He tapped his foot some, eyes looking her over as he made more happy welcoming noises.

Cal watched BD and shook his head in amusement. He’d step in if needed.

Once Upon a Saloon

Cal mad his way into the saloon, nodding at Greeze as he passed the four armed creature. He had been exploring the flats and battling raiders as he passed them. He found old artifacts that he would be giving to Merrin to catalogue. Even though Cere and Cardova were gone...he still continued the work they had been doing.

He ordered a drink from the droid Monk, and moved to one of the back tables, making himself comfortable as BD1 hopped off of him and moved around the saloon, scanning things. Cal smiled to himself and shook his head, eyes finding Merrin as she looked over the artifacts. They had tried being together but after a short time they realized it just...wasn't working any longer. They had lost too much and changed too much. The separation was mutual, and she seemed more focused on Kata now which Cal was glad for. The little girl needed someone who would be there and Cal just...wasn't that person.

Every time he looked at her he felt immense guilt over killing Bode. But he needed to...Bode gave him no choice. He knew Kata didn't blame him...but now they had Tanalor and everything and he felt lost.

What was he to do now?
