Just obsessed w/ the idea that SWK will occasionally go on long winded rants abt 6EM during JTTW but they all have no idea he’s talking abt his mate (SWK thinks it’s obv, & it kinda is, but literally no 1 expects HIM 2 have a partner), & it gets revealed in sum stupid asf way like:

Tripitaka: “Have any of you ever had any successful courtings?”

Zhu Bajie: “Define ‘successful’.”

Ao Lie: “Never tried!”

Sha Wujing: “I as well, younger brother.”

Sun Wukong: *Giving them the most befuddled look.*

Sun Wukong: “Did you all actually collectively forget about my mate?”

Tripitaka: “YOUR HUH?”

Zhu Bajie: “YOU?? A MATE????”

Sun Wukong: “WHY IS THIS SO SURPRISING? I LITERALLY NEVER SHUT UP ABOUT HIM-“
