Heart stopping was one way to put it. Rounding a corner in the dead of night to find himself face to face with someone else; his late night wanderings were typically BECAUSE no one was out and he felt both his heart and breathing stop for a split second in that sudden moment of instead seeing the face of another. It took a moment to even return to normal, Mordred letting out a breath of laughter at his own expense.   ❝   Don’t you know you shouldn’t just jump out at people like that? Or be right around the corner from someone without an alarm to let them know?   ❞  It was a rather sorry attempt at a joke, they never had been his STRONG SUIT.
