While I always pictured Good Omens as a cartoon in my head while reading the book, I had 0% experience with drawing anything as cartoonish as I envisioned. It was a process of trial and error! Here's 2 of the scrapped designs before I finally landed with the one that was the closest to what I imagined. I actually like these a lot, too, they just didn't fit what I had in mind.

A lil' bit more info about these designs under the cut.

The uncolored one, I was trying to go full on for "sharp angles/soft shapes". Azira's hair not only had the lil' halo shape, it was shaped like "wings". Gave him granny glasses bc 1. He would Not Give A Sh1t™ about what others think, he's always been someone who prioritizes his own comfort and these glasses are practical, and 2. He actually finds them classy. Gave Crowley a bluetooth earpiece to play along with the "long suffering, exploited corporate slave" theme both of them - but especially him - got going on. Scrapped these ideas bc i felt that it was one of those "less is more" situations.

The first one, as it's clear at first glance, was when I finally reached the "prototype" for the final product. I could almost taste what I wanted, I felt that I was so close! So much so that I actually went and colored it. My design for Zira's eyes can actually be kinda seen here, I simplified it as a golden ring for this illustration, but I actually picture it as uncannily photorealistic fire contrasting with the cartoon style lol.

i definitely do feel that tech companies calling everything AI is not like a conspiracy theory so much as them trying to cash in on the latest Cool Thing, and i think that’s an important thing to say bc i will not stand for conspiracy theories, though the way some people act about AI (in the industry or not) really does make me want to pull my hair out….i see ppl sharing news articles on reddit and then using chatgpt summaries to describe them all the damn time and it’s like…ok so are you reading the article? or are you doing one step more than just reading the headline?? assuming the summary is even accurate anyway…. and every new pc wanting to call itself an AI PC ™….do you like copilot? no? too bad that’s all we want you to use for anything anymore……

(and ethics etc aside, like, it’s too early in the game for these so-called AI products to even be good anyway….)

and it’s frustrating bc i feel like i am constantly begging for ppl to acknowledge situations have Nuance bc AI Bad as a blanket statement is not. good. especially coming from people who don’t know anything about ML. ML has a lot of very good, very practical uses, and it’s been used for years! identifying cancer cells, that one australian team that trained robots to id and kill crown of thorns starfish to protect the great barrier reef, etc etc.

even generative AI i’m hesitant to put a blanket ban on, because i have seen it done well, when i visited the charité museum (of all places) in berlin last fall—

Not so much an ask as a clarification on an actor you mentioned. Owen Painter is not supposed to replace White, he plays a whole other character that has prosthetics on so you may not see his actual look. As far as attraction goes that’s a matter of opinion.

But yes, attraction is a 'matter of opinion', and my opinion is that White was cast for being weird looking but 'attractive' for the teen set (Teen Girl Attractive™ [a.k.a. "easy to draw"], is something that needs to be acknowledged...I suffered from it when Kirk Cameron was young and popular). Because the love interests of Addams women are always weird oddballs (Gomez, Fester, Joel, and Lucas from the musical...the latter being odd merely bc he didn't fit into the family's ✨aesthetic ✨) compared to the attractiveness of the women (Morticia, Debbie (LOL), Wednesday).

They look similar ~in my opinion.~ 💩 They're two 6 foot 2, lanky white boys. Betcha if the dude on the left had grown his hair out and lightened it, audiences/general public wouldn't be able to tell much difference. Genesis freaking out bc a DEMON dropped off BABIES in Wutai, told him and his friends to babysit, and now Angeal is getting bossed around by the tiny brunnette while Sephiroth refuses to put down the tiny blonde that keeps threatening to stab him.

Here’s how Healthy Polyamory Representation Could Have Saved the Timeline

Fudging Crisis Core timeline a bit, but Zack starts dating Cloud and Aerith back b4 shit hits the fan re: Crisis Core. Obviously bc, he loves and looks up to Angeal, he introduces his new bf and gf to his mentor. Zack also mentions how nice it was to have, like, a good role model also in a poly relationship.

Angeal (aware on some level that his personal relationships are trash fire disaster): haha, thanks.

Later, that day angeal bursts into his apartment ready to drag his husband and boyfriend to couple’s therapy by the roots of their over-producted hair if he must.

Time Travel for the Temporally Orientated

Sephiroth, time travels back to pre-Crisis Core; he is too busy dealing with severe mental whiplash (can’t decide if Jenova’d him was right or if now-him was right; really disorientating to be un-hiveminded and not kinda-dead) to solve or cause any problems. Fortunately(?) he is acting so goddamn weird anyway that he accidentally makes the timeline better whilst navel-gazing. A comedy of errors featuring:

Picks up cloud as an apprentice, but makes zack train him because 1 of the few things Seph can make up his mind about is that he respects/misses older cloud and thier fights. To literally everyone else though, it looks like Seph picked an apprentice he dislikes? why? thoughts vary

Genesis is DETERMINED to get to the bottom of this. he does not. But he does (1) make friends with cloud, (2) become Intense Magic Rivals with Aerith, (3) become frenemies with Zack, much to Angeal’s displeasure

Tifa and Zack become frenemies too, via being pseudo pen-pals to best friends in law. This version has Tension though, bc they kinda want to smooch each other’s SO

Side note, Aerith is having a great (and very bi) time; she is constantly texting Cloud pics of Zack and Tifa’s latest arm-wrestling/lifting/pull-up battles with heart emojis and thirst captions

Zack is putting off having a bisexual crisis, bc he dislikes Genesis too much to admit he’s hot and Cloud is busy being taken. He’s. putting. it. off.

okay some important notes:

the set is very minimal, as is expected with smaller productions, because the budget is mostly dedicated towards the costumes and sets are expensive lol. so we were just working with a screen and moveable props. but! what they lack in set pieces they make up for in their use of the ensemble!

the ensemble i think was larger, we had ipolitov and the tsar as separate tracks this time, as well as casting a young boy to play alexei and a little girl to play little anastasia, whereas broadway and national tour productions just have the girl play both. i think this allowed some room to play :)

the book remained mostly unchanged (from the off broadway production standards, that is), so most of the Choices were in blocking and lots of little minute details only an insane woman (me) will notice

and the highlights (in no particular order):

after the confrontation, anya runs offstage and changes out of Big Red to wear something similar to the boat dress from the movie? like a simple turquoise dress with some pattern and a white ribbon. and then she finds dmitry, proceeds with the finale, and then changes back into Big Red for curtain call

for the press conference when anya first appears as Anastasia in big red, just vibing and minding her own business on stage, she flinches when the camera goes off 👀 and then the dowager comes out and they hug and the dowager poses just as the bulb flashes but anya flinches Again!! girlie was so uncomfortable it was delicious

during in my dreams, they had some ensemble run out in the background and young anastasia (in her blue hair bow!) like weaving between them as anya narrates?? so the cast was providing a visual to the journey anya is describing

and then they did the same thing for my petersburg!! young dmitry has stolen my heart 😭💖

and they did it again for in a crowd of thousands but with just little anastasia and little dmitry 😭 and he like bows to her and everything <3

iacot was so golden, dmitry is wearing a bathrobe and slippers for his jammies 😭 and they hug!! it's similar to the movie, she says the 'stay with me i'm frightened' line and wraps her arms around him, and he's like frozen for a second and then he slowly holds her back and he says 'is that better?' and lets himself enjoy it <3

during the traveling sequence, anya is using dmitry's satchel as an umbrella in the storm <33 (i need. to speak to the director about this. i need the scene where anya decides to do this. i have not stopped thinking about it.)

overall i'm so obsessed with the way this actress portrayed anya. like she's kinda pretty and sweet at first glance but when you get to know her she's not quite all There, something is a bit Off. she was so Strange and Off-Putting and Intimidating. which is exactly how anya exists in my head. no notes. remarkable.

in the fight with the ruffians they didn't have a fire barrel or a stick or anything, anya is just out here throwing her fists around and cleaning up, it's incredible. and then after she's holding her fists up kinda awkwardly but dmitry knows to be wary and it's so cute

dmitry isn't kneeling in meant to be, which bummed me out at first, but when anya has her Blue Dress moment™ he's just standing there Staring Stupidly, which is understandable, and vlad literally has to shove him to go approach her 😭 and even then he's still just kind of staring in awe and smiling, so anya sticks her arm out like hello 😤 and he's like oh right lol and he takes her arm and they go to the ballet together <3

the kiss/finale didn't feature a suitcase slam™ 😔 but! it was so cute and so so flirty. dmitry is so sad but anya like holds out her hand for him to take, bc she's a proper lady now, and says her 'the grand duchess anastasia would beg to disagree 😌' line and dmitry smiles real big, takes her hand, and they kiss and he spins her around and they're giggling and stuff <3333

in the finale, when anya and dmitry move forward from their spot in the back, anya breaks away from him for a moment to hold hands with little and young anastasia ??? and then she finds dmitry again, he kisses her hand, and they do one turn of a waltz together and then move to the front of the stage with the rest of the cast and finish the show holding each other <3

i meantioned this earlier but anya closing the show in a Simple dress sans tiara hits sooooo different. like.

there's definitely more that i will remember later, but these are the things that are going to keep me up at night for a long time. god. this director understood the assignment

i saw a little local production of anastasia last night, and now that we are in the era of non-replica productions.... man, i am so excited. that was so good. i need to have an insane conversation with this director bc there were so many Choices that i have Not stopped thinking about all day

Irt to your twitter post and posts on here before about hair care etc to stop frizz - ik you've mentioned products and stuff but a rly quick guide on what to do daily and weekly (ie should I not brush/comb ever? Use product on dry hair daily?) would be soooo helpful fr Google is very divided and capitalism™ on the topic - but if it's too much of ur time nw or if you've done it before already I'm sorry and could u link 👀 also ur hair looks amazing 😍

lumbers towards u IT'S NOT TOO MUCH OF MY TIME AT ALL I rlly like talking about hair My hair routine is not really complex but it ended up being a lot of text SOO it's under a readmore!! also THANK YOU I'm flattered you think my hair looks good fdjhgjdfjh

on wash days: It's pretty basic! shampoo, condition, I use one of those nice detangling brushes while my hair is covered in conditioner, then I scooch my hair to the side and leave that in until the very end of the shower, & rinse it out while using a comb and slightly cooler water. If it's warm out, or if I'm very strong, I blast my hair with cold water for a minute before getting out. After I get out, I rake some curl creme into my hair with my fingers, taking care to be gentle bc hair is weakest when it's wet and full of water. If I was planning to diffuse my hair, I'd also rake in some heat protectant. Occasionally I'll also throw gel in there, but not EVERY wash. After I've done that, I shake my head a little to let the hair form the clumps it wants to form. I use a soft t-shirt (I don't fuck w buying those expensive non-towel-towels for curly hair) to scrunch upwards and pull some of the water off my hair, leaning over while I do that. I let it air dry, and if there was any gel in it, I go back in and do one more scrunch-session, to break up the cast that was formed on my hair and make it soft again when I go to bed: I'm actually pretty lazy so I just use a silk pillowcase and pray to god my hair doesn't get too abused when I sleep. If I wanted my hair to look really nice, I'd wrap it at night using a silk scarf or a bonnet, or I'd put it up into a pineapple w a scrunchie. I used to pineapple my hair and it worked pretty well! but the silk pillowcase is the main thing. daily maintenance: it depends how intense I wanna be about keeping the curls looking curly. If things are looking kind of scrungly, I'll go through it gently with my fingers, and then hit my whole head with a mist of water. After that I can go through with just plain water (if I've merely lost definition) or with a bit of leave in / curl creme (if it's frizzy) and go curl-by-curl, wetting them down a bit and then scrunching them back up again. I let it air dry and then a lot of the curls come back to life. If my hair is REALLY frizzy, and I REALLY care about it, I'm gonna wet my whole head back down. water is my best friend when it comes to making my hair look good, so that's the main thing. I get Simply Sopping, I'll add a little more product, and then I'd do the same t-shirt scrunching routine as normal and let it dry. My hair comes back to life after that but may be slightly heavier, because of the fact that it's got more Product in it. re: brushing, no brushing ever, combing? I normally try to gently finger-detangle, but if that doesn't work, I will VERY GENTLY brush my hair if I feel tangles. I'll start at my ends and work upwards, taking care not to be too aggressive. If I need to dry brush my hair, I'll either embrace the big hair look or I'll do the thing where I wet it back down again afterwards. If my hair is so tangly that it NEED NEEDS to be detangled, then it's just time for a wash. These things are better done in the shower, with lots and lots of conditioner. you ARE ALLOWED to brush/comb your hair dry, but it is so much easier to just detangle in the shower other maintenance: Occasionally I'll do seek-and-destroy missions with hair shears to get split ends that I see. I also cut my hair around once a year- I just recently cut it myself a couple months ago! So I'm operating with shorter hair nowadays. I think that's pretty much it!!!! It's a lot of text, but in-practice, I'm not actually spending that much time on my hair. Most days I just wake up, spray a little water, and move on. like tending to a plant.

R2d2: well, he’s been here many times before. He acts like he owns the place. He rolls around the aisles showing bb8 and D-O all the “cool” spots and best ways to cause chaos. Bb8 and D-O chirp excitedly, because if uncle r2 says its okay, then it must be, right?

This is a long way of saying r2 is the best bad influence ever.

oh man, the chaos this little droid causes. Surprisingly, he doesn’t get banned (only bc 3po and Ap-5 talk the manager out of it), but it’s a close one.

r2 runs around screaming, throwing things at his friends. he and chopper WREAK havoc hiding under shelves and pretending to be large plastic versions of themselves (they are, after all, galactic heroes. of COURSE target has plastic figurines of them, some may even be life sized). once they are hidden, they jump out at whoever walks through, friends and strangers alike.

seriously, it’s a miracle they don’t get kicked out.

r2 also rolls around holding a giant yoga ball above his head while chasing AP-5, who is swearing like a pilot.

He and 3po go around the store once everything quiets down. On occasion r2 would project a holo-recording of anakin or leia or obi-wan or luke and it would be like they were really there with them. and at that moment, they were. the memories may be tinged with blue and static, but it was there all the same.

r2 would coo softly when he saw the faces of those he loves laughing and loving him right back. but then the holo-vid ends. and he and 3po are alone once again.

3po: he showed bb8 and and D-O how to shop responsibly and where to find the best deals. He, Ap-5, and k2so all tell their respective crews the odds for different reasons, which they rant about to each other

Ap-5 and k2so love each other’s sarcasm, but

3po is like their older brother and so they make sure he understands their jokes.

3po makes a sarcastic comment to r2 after hanging out with Ap-5 and k2so and r2 didn’t know if he should break the two droids or cheer. (he short circuited instead).

he did the shopping, of course. after all, he was the oldest, and he knew exactly what to buy and where to buy it. bb8 and D-O excitedly rolled after him and took mental notes on how 3po was shopping, before getting distracted and rolling off to play w Az.

3po didn’t mind, he was happy to watch the two young droids play.

r2 came over to 3po after the shopping was done and he was just looking around. at first, 3po was wary, because he thought his companion was trying to get him involved in a prank, but nevertheless, shuffled after r2.

they want from hall to hall, looking at holo-recordings that r2 had saved of their friends. the last one r2 played was in the hair product aisle, and he projected a video of obi-wan and anakin bickering over shampoo and over if obi-wan uses that fancy pomade or not. then ahsoka comes over and they start arguing over 3-in-one shampoo (anakin is all for it, obi wan is appalled, ahsoka doesn’t even have hair and she knows that 3-in-one is horrible).

the recording ends and the images freezes and so do their friends. the smiles are still on their faces except for when little bits of static disrupt the image.

3po and r2 stand looking at the images for a long time. 3po’s hand resting on the dome of his silver little friends. they wished the smiles in real life could have stayed on their friends' faces as long as they did in the images frozen in time.

Bb8: he had never been to a target before. Poe preferred space-costco, so this was a new experience for bb8. D-O had never gone either, so bb8 and his friend raced around the hallways, ricocheting off of the shelves as they rounded counters.

3po taught bb8 where to find the best deals on groceries, even though bb8 wouldn't actually need to buy food for himself. r2 the reminded 3po that astromechs don’t tend to buy groceries for their owners, but bb8 wanted to learn anyway.

D-O got bored and rolled off with r-2 after a bit, but bb8 spent nearly a half hour eagerly listening to Professor 3po.

at the end of the day, he used his allowance to buy Poe a target gift card, just to have an excuse to come back with him.

K2s0: he jokes around with the employees. They make jokes about idiotic customers and how stupid people can be. The employees say that some of the worst customers are the obnoxious ones, to which k2s0 replies that he is unfortunately good friends with a lot of those customers.

As if on cue, r2 and chopper come screaming around the corner, with bb8 and D-O on their heels.

“Like them,” one of the cashiers say.

K2so just sighs and gives them each a handful of credits and then jogs off to catch his friends.

Later, he runs into a very grumpy manager who k2so has seen yelling at employees and making them cry for doing nothing.

So, naturally, k2so trolls him big time. He pretends to joke around with him the same way he did with the cashiers, but this time he is absolutely making fun of him. Once the manager catches on, k2s0 bluntly admits to trolling him, tells him his shoes are dumb, and then books it out of the store, carrying D-O underhis arm.

When they all get home, he lectures them all on being more well behaved because they were making the employee’s lives harder. He did this in a very sarcastic way, of course. It was like if space-john mulaney gave you a lecture.

To his credit, r2 and chopper were a little quieter the next time they went to the store.

AP-5: wants to spend as little time in the store as possible. He plans to get the groceries and g o. He doesn't want to be around people or droids or anything that can hold a conversation, he just wants to get a box of bolts to fix Sabine's bedroom doorway with, and some instant space-foods since The Ghost was going to be traveling in hyperspace for a really long jump. But when is he ever that lucky?

The version AP-5 tells Hera is that Chopper was running around screaming (which, to his credit, is not untrue), and that he had to intervene.

The truth is that AP-5 helped chopper create a chaos prank because he knew it was going to happen either way, and he wanted to mitigate the circumstances. He told sabine and kanan the truth when they cornered him bc they didn’t believe him (neither did hera, but she knew he would never fess up to her bc she would make him babysit as punishment. again).

The actual truth was that AP-5 came up with the idea, which he and chopper then executed, and later came up with a worse version that AP supposedly mitigated.

They said chopper was going to just knock down a bunch of shelves.

I n s t e a d he would take things from people’s cart when they weren't looking while Ap-5 distracted them, and then like put them on a shelf later, or in their cart right as they are loading stuff onto the belt.

When he wasn’t making customers question their sanity, his cargo manifest instincts kicked in. he found himself taking inventory of the whole store though multiple rounds, and would tell the employees when he noticed a shelf ran out of a popular item, much to their severe annoyance.

But he had fun.

He also bought a stuffed space-bird creature, the ones that surrounded him when he was floating and space and having a *main character moment*.

Chopper: chaos. Only chaos.

He spends his time scaring the living starlights out of people, screaming (crying, throwing up), freaking out customers by moving their items around, being a bad influence on his younger brothers (bb8 and D-O), buying himself a new cat toy to add to his now-too-big collection, and buying a birthday present for Hera. the wholesomeness ruined his chaotic facade, but hey, he has to stay the favorite kid somehow.

K2sO loves chop. Or, rather, he likes watching chopper cause chaos, until chopper upsets his new target-employee-besties, and then chopper gets yelled at by k2.

It made it into chopper’s top five most terrifying experiences, right under when Ezra once told Luke that chopper was like the r2 of the ghost, and r2 almost strangled ezra. It was hard for even chopper to tell who was more insulted: r2 or chopper (or luke tbh).

He and r2 are literal besties, despite r2 being like nearly two decades older and technically in charge. Chopper did at one point ask if they could steal a mannequin to put in a closet and scare ezra, and r2 said no.

However, he promised he would carry Ap-5 to a closet on the ghost when he was in recharge cycle to make up for it.

Chopper also bought ezra a can that when you open it a fake snake pops out, just in case the Ap-5 plan never follows through.

D-O: baby’s first shopping excursion. The little droid didn’t go out much before, especially not on shopping trips. The sith in him makes him a little chaotic, but that also be bc of his big brother chopper and uncle r2.

yeah, it’s definitely because of chopper and r2.

D-O is eager to learn anything, everything he can. 3po is happy to teach him about stores and deals and shopping. bb8 was interested for a short while before running off with r2, but D-O remained FASCINATED for as long as 3po was talking.

He is technically older than bb8, but everyone forgets this and treats him like the baby, including bb8.

D-O doesn’t mind.

AZ: so, AZ not only didn’t know Target existed, he had ever heard of the concept of a store before. Everything he ever needed was on Kamino without fail, and it wasn’t in his programming to inquire where it came from. He doesn't know what anything is so he constantly asks questions about everything, even items that he literally has seen before (like bowls or shirts). He would ask why they were here and not on Kamino, and if Tipoca City got their supplies from target.

No one knew how to tell AZ that it doesn’t really matter, because it’s not like Tipoca City needs much of anything anymore.

He gets a little overwhelmed in the best way at all the cool stuff. He zooms around, picking up one thing only to drop it again to go look at something else that caught his eye. 3po trailed behind him to out everything back properly, and K2so followed AZ to make sure he didn’t overload his circuits, and to catch him if he did.

Az was dismayed at the medical aisle section, especially at the % bacta in the ointments and band-aids and whatnot. He thought it was an outrage that there was so little bacta in the disinfectant and bandages, and asked how this would heal a blaster wound.

K2so then informed him that most people wouldn’t go to the target pharmacy to treat a blaster wound.

After the initial ten minutes of chaos and questions, AZ settled down and quietly hovered around, before buying a kid’s t-shirt that was meant for a birthday, thought AZ wasn’t sure why it resonated with him so much since the shirt was plain and only had a single number on it:

I feel like Chimera has a lot of advice about guys that Fiera could listen to. She didn't peg her for one to be so head over heels with such a normal guy. But she's happy for her none the less.

Chimera can also breathe fire! It's always green and the both of them together is a whole smoke show.

Also, I have no idea if I'm gonna keep giving Fiera Jacks little hair flippy thing. I'm still on the fence about it, so you'll probably see it come and go lol.

ranboo doesn't understand sports and he quickly understand that football is a way for clingyduo to bond with his son so he lets them do all the work for it

training is every wednesday and friday and uncle tommy makes sure to always have free wednesdays and fridays

whenever other people see tommy and michael walking to the training field, they leave them alone, even if they have some unfinished business with tommy

this is because the only time someone tried to talk to him they almost got killed. tommy has to bring his nephew/godson to football training. no time.

he stays near the field for an hour and a half, looking at micheal with the proudest grin

michael has so much fun and makes a lot of new friends

tommy often yells very unhelpful advice

all the other kids love him tho. a lot.

michael isn't really embarrassed. he loves his uncle <3

there's a match every other saturday. clingyduo makes sure they're there, front row.

they look at michael and have fun together at the match. sometimes they wish they could turn back time and be as happy as he is.

one day both tommy and tubbo have a really important thing to do and they can't go to the match!! :(

his skin/hair condition is very similar to vitiligo/poliosis. weirdly enough it's almost split in a half and nobody knows why?? (as someone with both in the family let me have it)

he doesn't always wear fancy clothes, but he likes to take his time to get dressed. it's almost a ritual for him

the eyes of ender on his clothes are fake but he made everyone think they're real

Very bored and JAKKS is doing a product preview on April 1 so. Predictions for the second wave of Disney ILY dolls

Next wave of dolls will be: Tiana, Rapunzel, Moana, Belle, Snow White. Belle and Snow were promised as upcoming characters so I believe they’ll be getting dolls. The other three have packs already; Moana and Jasmine are a tossup between each other but Moana is Disney’s current cashcow so I think she’s a definite. Rapunzel has several sets so she’s getting in. Tiana is getting in because she’s Tiana.

Other dolls I would not be surprised to replace one of the above: an Anna doll, meant to serve as a sister to the Elsa doll, or a Daisy Duck doll to go with the Minnie.

Slightly less excited expectation: as we’re getting two characters of color, there’s gonna be discourse over the dolls. The previous five dolls were designed specifically to not look like their OG (ariel being blonde, tink being east asian with long dark hair, etc). I seriously doubt Disney would not let Tiana be black bc that backlash would be immediate but Moana is gonna be tricky. Honestly my expectation is that Tiana will have a cool natural black hairstyle and maybe different eye color– maybe green as a shoutout to the frog? God only knows what Moana will look like but fingers crossed!!

If there is a Jasmine doll I would KILL for her to come in a hijab.

Packs for Raya at the very least. I don’t think they would have had time to make Encanto or Turning Red packs before knowing those movies would be a hit, and while it’s possible we’ll get a Meilin or Mirabel pack, I feel like that would be more likely wave three. Raya was expected to succeed (and did) so we’re getting at least a pack for her, maybe one for Sisu.

More packs for Mickey-centric characters; it’s Disney’s icon, I fully expect at least a Daisy pack.

I’m expecting more Disney Princess packs as well: with Belle and Snow promised, we’re missing Aurora, Pocahontas, Mulan, Mérida and obviously Raya and Mirabel. I would ADORE if Aurora and Snow got pajama packs (maybe also Giselle?)

Cinderella and Tinker Bell have dolls but no packs, so I expect those two to get packs asap. Esp since the new Peter Pan is dropping this year, they’re gonna wanna market the shit outta Tink.

Fully expect an Alice pack at some point. I also see definite probability for Toy Story packs, themed around Jessie and girlboss Bo Peep. Can also see them slipping in a Judy Hopps pack at some point

We got two Very Deluxe™ packs last drop and a huge accessory (Minnie’s car); I feel like we’ll get those too. My guess is one of the Deluxe Packs will be Raya-themed, the other will be Daisy (if they use her) or one of the other princesses they’ve utilized. The big accessory prob won’t be another car but if it is I’d love a Vanellope-inspired one

Now. Those are my predictions, here are things I would LIKE but don’t think would happen, at least not this soon:

Rare Disney ladies getting packs. Maid Marian, Giselle, Melody, ESMERALDA, Nala, Lady, Kida, Megara, Vanellope, Duchess and Marie, Mary Poppins... when Encanto stuff drops I DEMAND a tie-dye set for Isabela and some kind of Dolores and/or Luisa set. Big Hero 6 packs would also be cool as shit

And he gets to wear a really cool bear skin that he likes so much he refuses to give it back when his time as chief is over and the production has to bring a new one to the set 🙈

Their tribe wins the first competition, which makes Joonas happy because to him the tribe already feels like a family 🥰

Indeed, Olli has to console him when they finally lose a competition (they have a winning streak in the beginning) and finally have to let go of one of the tribe members

Meanwhile Joel contemplates voting himself off lol, participating in the competition was a huge mistake and he wants to sleep in an actual bed

Ironically, Joel gets to be the next chief and he absolutely hates the responsibility and is this 🤏 close to actually telling the production he's going home

Tommi sees his moment and decides to break his "no collaboration, we die like men" principle and offer his advice for poor reluctant chief Joel

This does not go according to Niko and Aleksi's plans, who are planning on making sure Tommi is the next one to be voted off (he would be too strong an opponent in the end)

What Niko doesn't know, however, is that Aleksi has also made an alliance with *gasp* ROBIN 😱 Where do Aleksi's loyalties really lie?

Olli doesn't really have anyone to make an alliance with and he's kinda sad about it. Joonas says Olli should make one with him, and they do eventually, only their idea of scheming and coming up with strategies is talking about their feelings while braiding each other's hair 🥺

..which makes Aleksi realise he's made alliances with the wrong men: neither Niko nor Robin is going to braid his hair (it's getting kinda greasy (sorry for the mental image)), let alone let him braid theirs 😔

To no one's surprise, Tommi wins the challenge where they have to eat all sorts of weird foods, like worms and reindeer testicles

By winning this challenge he also wins the "untouchable" charm that prevents him from being voted off, which in this production is a crown made of moose horns, another prop Tommi's not planning on giving back once he gets his hands on it (the production is getting kind of frustrated and contemplate writing Tommi off the show somehow, but he's a fan favourite, so their hands are pretty much tied)

To no one's surprise, Joonas doesn't do quite as well in that particular challenge

At some point Joonas and Olli end up in a duel, but they've become such good friends that they're practically sobbing throughout the whole task because they don't want the other to leave 😭 and so production lets them both go ("oh my god stop crying you two, you're already out of the island"). They start a YouTube channel together after the show 🥰

Niko is Shook™ when he finds out about Aleksi's betrayal, but saves his ass anyway in the next vote-off (bye Robin 👋)

Joel and Tommi become such a power couple that, against all odds, they end up in the finale together ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I see what you mean about Water Me! And I LOVE the idea of an into the woods style story. You could also go into the realm of Journey to the West if you wanna follow adventure shenanigans but with more cultural relevance to the setting. It's originally a Chinese story but there's versions across Asia if I remember correctly. (The Kdrama A Korean Oddessy, for example, is based on this tale and does a humorous modernization)

Maybe since the troupe average age is older they can go more into the realm of Black Comedy than just Slapstick. Like just let Yuki go ham! Tsuzuru sees Tenma and Yuki sniping at each other one (1) time and writes for three days straight.

(Also I'm having a horrific vision of a really pared down version of CATS instead of the Great Sardine Search and I'm trying not to think too hard about it).

Oh I can't remember if you addressed is before, but what was Masumi's draw to Mankai? I assume it's no longer "unhealthy obsession with director" but was he drawn to Sakuya's acting this time or is his motivation completely different? I do like to imagine him being sort of a mentor to kiddo!Matsukawa in terms of music production. Like he let's him mess around in the studio and stuff. I think Matsukawa's canon talent in music is something that we all sleep on (I like to headcanon that he composed and produced all the troupe and play songs).

And Because I physically can't do anything without talking about Juban at Least a lil - Imagine Ginji Shenanigans but Director Banri's been keyed into the situation from the point where everyone starts suspecting Juza's secretly married instead of being brought in at the end. (I love the Ginji arc so much not a single brain cell to be found)

DEAR LORD SARDINE SEARCH AS CATS 2019. I HATE THIS BUT ALSO I NEED YOU TO KEEP TALKING. actually my friends and i have this joke that when the mankai company puts on Cats, the playbill says that homare is playing every role, and then there's that little understudy slip-in that shows the rest of the cast via that, and you need to figure out who homare is playing via process of elimination. our thoughts were that homare has the range to play all of them so he should get to choose each night who he wants to play.

TENMA IS... going through it ya. he's become disgraced as a celebrity due to um. some Undefined Scandal that i will eventually define, so that's why he's even joining mankai in the first place.

AND GROWN UP TENMA AND YUKI DYNAMIC... in the break i took, my friends and i discussed some new lore for mankai swap, so the reason yuki hates tenma so much is that he was hired to be his designer for a red carpet/met gala event, and tenma insisted on just weareing a tuxedo. so yuki still holds a grudge about this. last runway is catharsis for him bc he gets to make tenma wear interesting outfits.

AND I DIDNT EVEN CONSIDER HIM MENTORING MATSUKAWA SO TRUE... one thing abt this au is that um. it has turned me into a big Matsukawa fan he is my little boy boss. did you know he sleeps in the attic in canon. it makes me insane. poor matsukawa. i love the idea of masumi mentoring him and him composing the play songs!!

oh my god this ginji arc idea is so insanely good i LOVE it. i agree it's one of my favorite arcs it is so funny but also so sweet, and the idea of turning it into a 'omg is he secretly married' is HILARIOUS on all fronts. i adore this thank u for these crumbs.

Favorite spn season, but if the only criteria was Sam’s hair -also hard bc I love almost all of Sam’s hair (except s10 wtf was that), but I’m gonna go with season 5.

Favorite Sam-centric episode - I can’t really say bc I can’t remember which eps were Sam-centric since it’s been so long since watching them. But Ana said All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1 and I do remember that one so yeah going with that one bc it was really good. Oh! I do actually really like Mystery Spot even though it’s painful af and actually way darker than the ep presents it. And I hate how fandom treats it. :/

Favorite unhinged Sam moment - I don’t remember what ep it is but I think it’s in season 4? When he’s drinking the demon lady’s blood and the demon dude goes to stab him and Sam uses his powers to fling him into the wall and with his mouth all bloody says “wait your turn” YEAH

You must have some intense headcanons you need to talk about, tell me one Sam hc that drives you insane - oKAY. this is gonna be long. -cracks knuckles- so I have never seen this take before probably bc the disorder is so rare  (hint: it’s not there was just a huge movement in the 90s to discredit it lmao) but during his time in the Cage (which I take his estimates to be true so he was there for 5,000+ years bc I believe Hell time and Cage time are different) he had to split in order to stay functioning. So when he gets back and his wall is broken he basically has DID/OSDD (dissociative identity disorder). Those parts in himself in that one ep? They actually exist inside him along with probably hundreds of other parts/alters to hold and cope with all the trauma and they can “front” (be in control of the body). They’re a very covert system tho bc if Dean ever found out he’d flip. Also he definitely has introjects of Lucifer and Michael, probably multiple ones. So like hallucifer? Not just a product of the psychosis but also a literal person/part that lives in his head and torments him (tho it’s not really Lucifer bc it’s still a part of Sam’s psyche). This is why despite being in the Cage so long and being tortured in unimaginable ways he can still function. Because the Sam that is normally front doesn’t have access to all his Cage memories. Other parts hold those memories and keep them from him because otherwise he would literally be non-functional.

okay so that’s my headcanon. If you want to know more about it or even just DID in general PLEASE hmu. I would love to talk about it.

Oh no, the writers forgot to give Jess a personality! Now it’s up to you. Tell me, what was Jess like - she was definitely the kinda that encouraged everyone but esp Sam. definitely sassy and they probably had sass offs. she’s fiercely protective of the people she loves. she was super excited to bring Sam home to her family and they loved him even if he was a little weird.

Biggest injustice Supernatural commited against Sam (be as brief or as ranty as you desire) - season 6-15 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  lol jk. probably the s9 arc. That was... yeah. Or Lucifer being brought back in s11.

And finally, just say something about him that makes you smile - his compassion. Just how soft and gentle he is when talking to witnesses/victims/etc.
