on one hand i def have been rly enjoying platinum in the other i am still not quite sure what made people back in the day say this was the last good gen and gen 5 ruined everything

#its a bit...bland?#not in a bad way in a 'there isnt really anything i specifically assign this generation as a remarkable trait' other than uh.snow??#everythings just a bit too okay in a way or another #btw i dont support 'this generation ruined the series' bs it started as a stupid argument and still is #bc ppl will not stop changing what was the breaking point its essentially a way to say 'they made it different and im mad' by this point #bc yall rarely even bring up a proper argument.like there could be a genuine game breaking bug n half the complaints #would still be 'why is *thing* different from last game?? i only said i hated it not i wanted it gone'
