i dont think we talk about how deeply unsettling it is to look at old pictures of yourself enough
#this cannot possibly be just a me thing can it#i HATE it but i have this bizarre fascination with my own childhood photos and by extension my own childhood#bc with the post-traumatic amnesia and brain damage besides i come to it as a spectator / interloper#but with the implicit knowledge that That Is Me. Was Me. Who Am I. Who Was That.#i always joke about pictures of myself as a young kid/teenager like. who looked at me and thought that was a healthy welladjusted child lol#there's something WRONG with that kid lmaoooo isn't it funny how obvious it was that i was actually wasting away lol#i dont know im having a. really hard time articulating this
