Ive been wanting to make a champions live au that allows for a merging of the botw/totk continuities for a bit but i hadnt landed on something satisfactory

Prophesized late to the party link who they know isnt going to be born until wAY after the confrontation with ganon.

So instead the idea is for the champions to seal themselves inside the divine beasts (in something similar in build to the shrine of ressurection) for the years it would take until they believe link will appear. Except ofc ganon takes them over so theyre stuck in there until zelda manages to contact this feral man through sheer psychic will power and tell him to free the rest of the champions where meant to find him like 3 years ago

Except they cant bc their divine beasts have been taken over by the blight and they no longer control them
