Being Alone, Beautiful, and Cats: Henn Honolulu 34893-3 63 1bs @Manhattan ACC waiting for LOVE Beautiful, young, sweet, housetrained, lived in harmony w/4 small children very tolerant with them & played gently are even better when they are shared **** TO BE KILLED - 7/23/2018 **** WHO IS SHINY BLACK VELVET WITH BRIGHT AND HOPEFUL EYES? Its Henny Honolulu and she is hoping that someone will fall in love with her. Henny is about 3 years old and 60 lbs. After being used to make puppies, she was discarded. In her report, the shelter describes her as: gentle and timid, allowing a full exam without issue. The shelter also noted that despite her fears, all it takes is a moment of soft words to ease her fears quickly away. Henny is very playful and excited once comfortable. It's easy to forget that dogs have feelings and needs the same as we do. The shelter also noted she is in excellent health and condition. Henny's owner discarded her to police officers, and claimed allergies as the reason for abandoning her. Also mentioned was having bred her a year earlier. The owner went on claiming that while Henny has shown wariness to strangers, she is a loving, loyal family pet in the home. Fully house trained, adept in many commands, affectionate and adoring belly rubs. So in return for devotion, Henny's prior owner decided to abandon her and now Henny is at the mercy of a foster or adopter to save her from a tragic, unjust death. The odds are stacked tightly against Henny for numerous reasons. She is black, she is rescue only and she has hours to live. We feel she is exquisite, worthy, and a keeper. If you would like to save this sleek, hopeful and lovely youngster, please message this page now. Fostering is free, short term and transport is available. Time is of the essence for this innocent sweet doggie.
