Everyone hope for a level up tonight, my bard still has 9 charisma
#dnd#when i first got my 2nd level spells i asked my dm if the ethereal plane meant anything#bc our setting is a somewhat realistic near future setting. so i didnt know if we were even using planes#and see invisiblity specifically says that it lets you see into the ethereal plane (which is how it works)#so when my dm said that it was in fact something he was using i made the joke that id use it to look at god next time we saw him#and my dm's response was purposefully cagey. so i took see invisiblity (plus all my 2nd level choices suck imo)#today i finally got to make good on my promise as Eddie finally had a reason to be suspicious of “god”#bc when 4/8 of the pcs are on the ground (passed out not dead) and gods trying real hard to make it more you tend to be very suspicious#too much fear and someone will stop listening. eddie got there pretty quick when kiki dropped. so i get to play my wonderful trump card#eddie uses see invisiblity and as he looks up sees thousands of eyes staring back#and then our dm ends session.#man.#im so excited for next session. im so excited for mx anxiety supreme to have to communicate the horror of god#okay. “god”? im only like 50% on this being the same god as the previous times but yk- still getting the hell out of dodge#also sorry (not at all actually) to my dm for needing 80% of the bible/christianity things explained to me#i do actually know what communion is but you have to refer to it explicitly because i do not know its other names <33
