#you can smash words together in every language to make new words but in finnish they just work extra well#bc our compound words are just built different (im not a linguist)#so we have a lot of fun words#like kalsarikännnit (noun. getting drunk in your underwear)#im sure theres a cultural explanation for ristipissa but i dont have a dick so ive only ever used it as a joke#there are also a lot of very specific finnish words theres no good translation to#like. the amount of words we have for different types of snow...#ask
