as much as i really dont care for what ive seen from the new team, i dont want to come across as a shill for vicky either because she’s also guilty of some gross stuff in these books. iirc wasnt bumbledove actually intended to be endgame and super wholesome because “bumblestripe got dovewing into an easier relationship and he needed to calm her down” or something like that

#actually her entire thing about ‘’i hate romance where theyre nice to each other we NEED them to hate each other and fight constantly’’#she also was the one insisting ashfur was a tragic softguy becayse he’d have been a good father if that bitch squirrelflight let him #and while yeah it was at least nice she changed her mind the briarlight story rubs me the wrong way #bc originally vicky wanted to kill her off because ‘’disableds cant live here lol’’#and then changed her mind because someone she cared about got paralyzed and she was like ‘’ok…. maybe disableds dont need to die’’#like… idk its telling that she wanted to do that AGAIN #she was also pushing toxic ideas in these books that would end up harming disabled kids #i feel like with the new team being Like That its made people look back on her era like ‘’wow she was so awesome’’ when like…. ehhhh?
