currently debating the merits of impulsively applying for a teaching job after originally deciding i'd apply this time next year 🙃
#my friend got an interview so now i feel insanely jealous lmaooooo#kinda joking but i had a realisation this morning that next year is my 4th year since graduating#and post that you no longer count as a graduate? so idk if i can still apply at the end of next year for the following year#and get that graduate teacher benefits? or whether i should start sorting it out now??#bc if i were a school hiring i'd obviously want a teacher with experience OR a graduate that's cheaper. not a non-experienced non-graduate#idk. it's obviously never going to be a bad thing to start getting stuff sorted tho#but my skin is thrumming with the stress!!!!!!#i just suddenly feel so very unemployable? and i know there's a shortage etc etc but my incompetence is Real#like honestly fuck the pandemic. this is straight up the pandemic ruining my plans.#i was going to apply for jobs at the end of my first year crt-ing but that's emotionally this year!!!#and even then it's not really bc it was only august that i started properly doing it? bc i was worried about lockdowns#like sorry to the teaching universe for struggling amidst a global pandemic to do things logically#but ughhhh. stress. i'll get there. obviously. but just. stress. needed a rant lol#my post tag
