Similar question but first... Hi, how are you? I hope you don’t mind asking but where do you find the download to the Brazilian telenovelas? And I was really looking forward to see
Hello, I'm fine, and you? And I don't mind at all! Again, hope I can help you at the end of the answer.
It became A LOT longer than expected, so I'll keep on readmore, and here goes a TL;DR: you can find almost everything on Globoplay. It's a streaming service, so it's paid -- sometimes it has some scenes open for non-subscribers. And you'll need an extension to download, as I said on the other ask.
P.S: If there's a specific novela / actor you want to gif and can't get the footage, just IM me and I'll download it for you! No prob at all!
So, differently from the Turkish television that has more than five main channels that are constantly airing dizis, in Brazil the most proeminent channel with novelas is Globo.
There are other channels that make novelas, like SBT ( mostly child novelas like the brazilian versions of chiquitas and rebelde, and some adaptations from mexican telenovelas ) and Record ( they're quite big on the biblical novelas, they kinda adapted the genesis / apocalypse books ), but they're not watched as much as Globo. Actually, they quite side Bs, y'know? Some people usually argue about the quality of the storylines and the cinematography... anyways, not the point.
Globo is the biggest channel on open tv, closed tv, and even on the internet. It's, like, a monopoly. They have everything. But talking now about what you really want to know, Globo has its own streaming site, Globoplay. There there's the daily episodes for the novelas -- here we air a lot of novelas each day: the vale a pena ver de novo ( worth to watch again, basically ) in the afternoon airing re-runs of novelas, at the beginning of the night there's malhação ( which i like to say that's our version of degrassi ), and then the novelas at 6pm, 8pm, and 9pm, sometimes even the 11pm novelas.
On Globoplay you'll find all the daily episodes from the novelas + all the episodes from an old novela ( if they remastered it already ) + some old tv shows + new tv shows that they made exclusively to the streaming service. It's, like, my favorite streaming. I could quit Netflix, Primevideo, Disney+ and keep just Globoplay and I'd be happy. But Globoplay works only on Brazil. Even paying for it you have to have a CPF ( our social security number ) and use the location -- but VPNs works!
Being a streaming service, Globoplay only allows you to see the full episodes if you pay. Sometimes there are a few small scenes / episodes open for non-subscribers, and anyone can watch / download. I use HLSdownloader to get the episode from the site, it's quite easy.
