the thing is that as a transfem, no matter what the actual power dynamics are, cis women will always find a way to frame your emotions and actions as aggressive and abusive. no matter how much you downplay your emotions, with attempts to express that maybe theres a slight chance that they possibly did something that kind of upset you a little but it isnt really that big of a deal at all so dont feel too bad about it, they will still find an angle to gaslight you into believing that youre the instigator or are emotionally attacking them for standing up for yourself. it sucks.

#not much else to say here just. no one ever fucking believes you but other trans women and it makes you feel insane #im going to say something that people are not going to like: it is far more likely for trans women to face abuse from our cis peers #than vice versa #INCLUDING CIS WOMEN! not to a lesser extent than cis men either #transfems talk about the abuse weve received from cis women but people still give them the benefit of the doubt while being overly critical #of us for speaking up about that abuse.#bc even ppl in the ‘’terfs dni’’ crowd havent unpacked that they still think our ‘’maleness’’ provides an inherent power over cis women #im so. tired.
