BRI's Green Bonds: Fuelling Indonesia's Sustainability

  A Green Step Forward

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Persero Tbk. (IDX: BBRI) has taken a significant stride toward a greener future with the issuance of IDR 6 trillion Green Bonds for 2023. This substantial move aligns with BRI's commitment to advancing sustainability and renewable energy projects in Indonesia.   Three Series of Green Bonds BRI's Green Bonds for 2023 come in three series, each tailored to different investment horizons: a 1-year series with a 6.10% coupon rate, a 2-year series with a 6.35% coupon rate, and a 3-year series with a 6.30% coupon rate. The issuance adheres to the fund usage framework established by the Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 60/POJK.04/2017.  

Oversubscribed Success

During the book-building period, the 2023 Green Bonds Phase II attracted immense interest, with oversubscriptions reaching 2.66 times the initial offering. This resounding success reaffirms BRI's position as Indonesia's leading domestic green bonds issuer, building on its earlier achievement of issuing IDR 5 trillion in green bonds in 2022.  

Funding a Sustainable Future

The proceeds from the Green Bonds issuance will primarily bolster initiatives in renewable energy, energy efficiency, pollution control, eco-friendly transportation, and sustainable land use projects. This underscores BRI's unwavering commitment to fostering a Green Economy and Sustainable Principles. In addition to Green Bonds, BRI has previously issued Sustainable Bonds, Sustainable-Linked Loans, Medium-Term Notes, and Subordinated Debt.   An Environmental Focus At least 70% of the raised funds will be directed towards environmentally responsible business activities, with the remaining portion channeled into Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) financing. Moreover, the funds designated for environmentally responsible activities will also facilitate the refinancing of expiring green bonds in 2023.  

A Vision of Sustainability

Agus Noorsanto, Director of Wholesale and Institutional Business of BRI, emphasized the bank's commitment to generating value while concurrently enhancing societal well-being. This commitment aligns with BRI's vision to be recognized as The Most Valuable Banking Group in Southeast Asia and The Champion of Financial Inclusion. BRI remains steadfast in supporting government initiatives related to Environmental Management and Climate Change Control.   Retail Investor Participation Achmad Royadi, SEVP Treasury and Global Services at BRI highlighted that the Green Bonds issuance garnered interest from retail investors. This not only underscores BRI's dedication to the government's financial inclusion strategy but also demonstrates the relatively low risk associated with the bonds. Pefindo has accorded them an idAAA (Triple-A) rating, affirming BRI's capability to meet its long-term financial obligations.

BCA, BRI, dan Mandiri Masuk Top 10 Bank terbesar di Asia Tenggara

Inanews - Kapitalisasi pasar (market cap) perbankan di Tanah Air makin unjuk gigi seiring dengan perbaikan kinerja perusahaan. Merujuk Bloomberg, per akhir kuartal IV 2018 lalu ada tiga bank lokal yang berhasil menduduki posisi 10 besar bank terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Kapitalisasi tertinggi bank domestik masih dipegang oleh PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA, anggota indeks Kompas100) dengan nilai mencapai 49,01 miliar dollar AS. Berkait pencapaian itu, BCA kini bertengger sebagai bank dengan kapitalisasi pasar kedua terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Posisi BCA hanya sedikit lebih rendah dibandingkan DBS Bank asal Singapura dengan nilai kapitalisasi pasar mencapai 51,38 miliar dollar AS per akhir Desember 2018 lalu yang menduduki urutan pertama. Dua bank lokal lain yang juga menduduki urutan 10 besar Asia Tenggara dari segi kapitalisasi pasar yakni PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI, anggota indeks Kompas100) di urutan ketiga dan PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI, anggota indeks Kompas100) di posisi keenam dengan nilai masing-masing 38,32 miliar dollar AS dan 25,29 miliar dollar AS. Pencapaian ketiga bank tersebut juga masih diikuti dengan pertumbuhan yang konsisten di awal tahun ini. BCA misalnya, per kuartal I 2019 lalu membukukan laba bersih sebesar Rp 6,06 triliun atau tumbuh 10,1 persen secara year on year (yoy). Kenaikan laba bersih ini juga sejalan dengan peningkatan aset dan kredit yang tumbuh masing-masing 9,3 persen dan 13,2 persen secara yoy menjadi Rp 830,55 triliun dan Rp 532,25 triliun di kuartal I tahun ini. Merujuk presentasi perusahaan, nilai earning per share (EPS) BCA juga naik di kuartal I 2019 menjadi Rp 1.049 per saham atau tumbuh 10,3 persen. Sejalan dengan itu, nilai buku BCA naik signifikan dalam kurun waktu satu tahun menjadi Rp 6.439 per saham atau tumbuh 16,4 persen. Pun dari sisi rasio profitabilitas, BCA juga mencetak perbaikan. Return on asset (ROA) naik 10 basis poin (bps) menjadi 3,5 persen di kuartal I 2019 dan net interest margin (NIM) naik tipis ke 6,2 persen kendati secara industri NIM perbankan di Tanah Air terkoreksi. Direktur Utama BCA Jahja Setiaatmadja mengatakan, tahun ini pihaknya hanya memasang target konservatif. Antara lain kredit dipatok tumbuh 8-10 persen, sedangkan dana pihak ketiga (DPK) ditarget naik minimal 6-7 persen. Di sisi lain, BRI juga terus mencetak pertumbuhan positif hingga kuartal I 2019. Tercermin dari realisasi aset secara konsolidasi yang kini menembus Rp 1.279,86 triliun atau naik 14,4 persen secara yoy. Pencapaian tersebut sekaligus mempertahankan BRI sebagai bank dengan aset terbesar di Tanah Air. Peningkatan aset BRI utamanya didorong dari pertumbuhan kredit yang meningkat 12,9 persen yoy menjadi Rp 866,46 triliun di kuartal pertama 2019. Sementara DPK meningkat 13,2 persen yoy menjadi Rp 936,02 triliun. Seperti halnya BCA, beberapa rasio keuangan dari BRI juga mengalami perbaikan. Terutama dari sisi non performing loan (NPL) yang membaik dari 3,31% di kuartal I 2018 menjadi 3,27 persen pada kuartal I tahun ini. Sementara ROA mampu dijaga stabil 3,35 persen. Inanews - Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) terus turun. Menurut data RTI, sejak Januari 2018 hingga sekarang, Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) turun 9,89% secara year to date (ytd). Meskipun demikian, posisi kapitalisasi pasar (market cap) saham cuma mengalami sedikit perubahan. posisi pertama kembali dikuasai saham PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) dengan kapitalisasi pasar sebesar Rp 582 triliun secara ytd. PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) yang semula di posisi satu turun satu peringkat ke posisi dua dengan kapitalisasi pasar masing-masing sebesar Rp 441 triliun secara ytd. Dan di posisi tiga ada saham PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) dengan kapitalisasi pasar sebesar Rp 366 triliun secara ytd. Lalu di posisi empat, lima dan enam ada saham PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM), PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) dan PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) dengan kapitalisasi pasar masing-masing sebesar Rp 363 triliun, Rp 333 triliun. dan Rp 295 triliun. Sementara di posisi tujuh, delapan dan sembilan ada aham PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) dan PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) dengan kapitalisasi pasar masing-masing sebesar Rp 277 triliun, Rp 141 triliun, dan Rp 130 triliun. Dan di posisi ke sepuluh ada saham PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) dengan kapitalisasi pasar sebesar Rp 117 triliun. Valdy Kurniawan, analis Phintraco Sekuritas mengatakan, susunan kapitalisasi pasar saham tidak banyak berubah dibandingkan akhir tahun 2017 lalu. "Yang menarik adalah kapitalisasi pasar BBCA yg naik ke peringkat satu, menggantikan posisi HMSP. Seperti yang terlihat di atas, kapitalisasi pasar HMSP turun sepanjang Januari hingga 15 Oktober 2018. Sebaliknya, BBCA justru naik," ujarnya, Senin (15/10). Valdy melanjutkan bahwa dari semua perubahan posisi kapitalisasi saham tersebut, sebetulnya rata-rata saham sektor perbankan pun mengalami penurunan kapitalisasi. "Perbandingan untuk Top 10 tidak terlalu berbeda dari awal tahun sampai kini. Hanya BBCA yang naik jadi peringkat pertama. Selain karena kinerja, salah satunya adalah karena fokus market BBCA yang ke arah ritel sehingga relatif lebih bertahan terhadap perubahan suku bunga," pungkasnya. Sementara untuk akhir tahun 2018 nanti, Valdy memperkirakan susunan kapitalisasi pasar tidak akan mengalami banyak perubahan. "Saham-saham banking, semen dan consumer goods secara historis berpotensi rebound jelang tutup tahun nanti," ungkapnya. Ia bilang pergerakan saham-saham tersebut akan dipengaruhi oleh spekulasi kenaikan The Fed Rate yang keempat dan tergantung pada rilis data-data makro ekonomi di sisa tahun ini. Ia juga bilang, BBCA masih berpotensi menjadi jawara kapitalisasi pasar sampai akhir tahun 2018 ini. "Untuk potensi kenaikan market cap sebesar kenaikan 8% hingga 12%. Ini khusus BBCA," ujarnya. Tapi Valdy juga menambahkan bahwa kenaikan market cap untuk sektor semen dan consumer goods juga bisa sekitar 3% sampai 8%, jika terjadi akselerasi di akhir tahun. "Sebab diperkirakan IHSG akhir tahun di akan berada di rentang support di level 6.200 dan resistance pada level Rp 6.500," tambahnya. Lalu soal rekomendasi saham, Valdy merekomendasikan untuk membeli saham-saham blue chip karena secara umum masih menarik untuk dibeli dan terutama yang memiliki kinerja keuangan baik antara lain sebagai berikut. 1. Saham BBCA dengan target harga di jangka panjang di level Rp 24.500 per saham. 2. Saham BMRI dengan target harga di jangka panjang di level Rp 6.200 per saham. 3. Saham BBNI dengan target harga di jangka panjang di level Rp 7.400 per saham. 4. Saham BMRI dengan target harga di jangka panjang di level Rp 6.600 per saham. 5. Saham TLKM dengan target harga di jangka panjang di level Rp 3.800 per saham hingga 3.900 per saham. 6. Beli saham INTP dengan target harga jangka panjang di level 18.000 per saham 7. Beli saham SMGR dengan target harga jangka panjang di level Rp 10.000 per saham. 8. Beli saham CPIN dengan target harga jangka panjang di level Rp 5.400 per saham. Sementara itu, analis Binaartha Sekuritas Muhammad Nafan Aji Gusta Utama mengatakan, saham sektor perbankan terutama BBCA naik saat ini karena sektor keuangan merupakan motor penggerak ekonomi nasional, dan emiten-emiten perbankan memiliki kapitalisasi yang besar. Soal perbandingan susunan kapitalasasi pasar dari Januari hingga saat ini, Nafan bilang tidak ada yang mengalami perubahan signifikan dari susunan emiten dalam top 10. "Yang berubah adalah susunan peringkat emiten, seperti BBCA yang sudah menggeser HMSP di peringkat 1 dan GGRM yang menggeser BBNI di peringkat 8," katanya. Nafan menambahkan bahwa karena sektor keuangan merupakan motor penggerak ekonomi nasional, sehingga BBCA sebagai emiten perbankan memiliki yang memiliki kapitalisasi yang besar pantas berada di urutan nomor 1. "Lalu, GGRM sebagai emiten dari sektor konsumsi yang memiliki kapitalisasi yang besar mampu menggeser posisi BBNI karena kapitalisasi BBNI masih lebih rendah dibanding kapitalisasi bank-bank buku 4 lainnya," pungkasnya. Dari sisi saham,Nafan merekomendasikan sejumlah saham sebagai berikut. 1. Beli BBCA dengan target harga jangka pendek di level Rp 25.700 per saham. 2. Beli HMSP dengan target harga jangka pendek dan jangka panjang masing-masing di level Rp 3.930 per saham dan Rp 4.510 per saham. 3. Beli BBRI dengan target harga jangka pendek dan jangka panjang masing-masing di level Rp 3.080 per saham dan Rp 3.840 per saham. 4. Beli TLKM dengan target harga jangka pendek dan jangka panjang masing-masing di level Rp 3.890 per saham dan Rp 4.530 per saham. 5. Beli BMRI dengan target harga jangka pendek di level Rp 6.700 per saham. 6. Beli ASII dengan target harga jangka pendek dan jangka panjang masing-masing di level Rp 7.050 per saham dan Rp 8.500 per saham. 7.
