I’m never gonna get over the sheer coincidence of the bbh Bagi and Cellbit lore triangle. Ten years ago bbh and Cellbit made a hunger games video together. Bbh and Bagi’s characters became friends because they were the only two online late at night and without the eggs bbh spends most of his time messing with people so he isn’t alone. Then Bagi and Cellbit turn out to be siblings and they both befriended the same demon when they were both at their lowest and most vulnerable. Bbh has such a unique understanding of both Cellbit and Bagi because of this and the three of them as a dynamic is SO incredibly complex. Bbh’s influence shaped young Cellbit in his desperation to survive and now Bagi is fighting the consequences and going to this very demon for help in saving Cellbit from himself meanwhile Cellbit would look to bbh for approval. “It was more like throwing a stick and saying fetch.” “Is he proud?” AAAAAHHHHH

God this shit is so good. It’s insane how rp can whip out these incredible parallels and story lines purely by ten years of coincidence. Incredible

QSMP Purgatory Thoughts

I have a lot of thoughts regarding the current arc for QMSP. I also main the team BOLAS???!? POV but as an insane individual I have seen the vod's and watch multiple teams POV's at the same time. So take all of this with a grain of salt. It's not that deep and I have absolutely no malice towards any of the CC's. Purgatory is not meant to be easy, it's meant to be harsh. People will not act in a fashion that they usually would in this environment and condemning them as terrible individuals is extremally short sighted and wildly unnecessary. No-one deserves a hate raid just because they decided to attack someone elses favorite CC. Makes no sense. That being said, I think people are collectively undermining the weight of the actions (in rp) done to team red on the first day. The first day in purgatory team red was SLAMMED. From being slain by friends to being spawn killed, to having bodies looted and homes ransacked, team red somehow kept getting the brunt of the focus. This was not intentional of course but it kept happening. ( Notably, team red has some of the least experienced players when it comes to playing minecraft itself along with the most players with the lowest chance of coming online at ALL during the event. However. This team also has some of the veteran players and have some of the most consistent players. This balances them out when it comes to the other teams who are better at PVP and better at Modded minecraft, respectively. ) The events of day one set the tone for red teams response to every single action the other teams took from that point forwards. They tried talking to others and were silenced. They tried setting up a base and it was destroyed over and over. This chain reaction is WHY team red is so hesitant to speak to others let alone work with them. This mentality keeps being re-enforced by the actions of others when red team takes the chance to talk or lower their guard. ex. Jaiden willing to talk to Tubbo, only for BBH to spawn kill her. ex. Teams agreeing to just pvp for the event only for Green team to start harming the enemy teams egg first. ex. Red teams alliance with Green team being cast aside so green team could win by making a deal with blue team.

From Red team's POV genuinely, there is no reason to talk or make alliances. They only have each other. This trust in one another alone is why red team keeps managing to gain the wins. It's a level of trust in the others capabilities that makes them strong. The RP team just spends the day giggling and cheering each other on regardless of where they are on the score board. They only take a chance to try and win when one of them goes "hmm... You guys wanna try?" and the group just agrees to give it a shot. There is nothing deeper too it. Red team has become the frightened dog of the server. Of course it's going to bite at the hands offered. They aren't trying to win they are trying to survive. They have the least amount of resources and the weakest gear. They have some of the worst pvp players but by god they are having so much fun with one another. There are exceptions to who they relax around and those are usually "partners" and or "close friends" but even then, team red knows that at any moment these meetings could turn to bloodshed. Having seen some of the other teams POV's is boggles my mind how certain both blue and green team are that red team has some giant base and has crazy enchants and super armor when they went into the event with basically nothing enchanted they used up EVERYTHING they had for the event. They haven't been on the grind as much because they spend a lot of time dead. The red team is also extremally "task" oriented. They all love finishing a list and honestly that's really all spend their day's doing. The tasks at hand and trying not to die. That and having a good time. Which.. when it comes down to it, isn't that the point of all of this? To have fun?

Red team also got the Eye guy to say "Bolas" and that in of itself is a win.

From a meta perspective bolas team did a perfect job in becoming the most popular team and marketing (whether intentionally or not). like its quite impressive to see:

they set themselves up as underdogs day 1

they had a fun insane behavior thing that people were attached to

they had awesome imagery with the gas masks and being red

they had a group of ccs who were very close to each other beforehand and had great dynamics and were great at rp

They streamed all together at the same time

I have to say they did a great job at making themselves seem like the better team and painted blue as the enemy (like its fair of them to have done but anyone can say some of their comments were kinda biased)

the BOLAS chants are peak way to rally people together

Had the advantage of bigger ccs with intesne fanbases

the rivalry with bbh was also fun to see

they were sometimes the targets and victims and losing (highlight sometimes, they were not weak, they won a lot) and did a great job and focusing on that and using it as fuel

In the end they were great at what they did, too good at it, which caused the fanbase to be super biased towards them and some elements of it was what caused so much drama.

New ccs: please be worse at marketing for our sanity

Decided to be nosy on Twitter and people are already being insane on both sides in response to the q!bbh and q!forever storyline going on and ya know what I hope the ccs take it as a compliment that their rp is so good that freaks on Twitter can’t distinguish between what’s real life feelings and conflicts and Minecraft rp (I hope they seek help) anyway they’re both doing a great job! They’re two super interesting characters and I like that they’re being creative with their storylines

prev I love uou so of course I'm continuing. dream buys a hundred dice and by the end of the campaign he has just the five. He still buys more. George insists in getting him some pretty ones and of course Dream caves. they draw little portraits of their own characters. dream gets the least nat 20s but they're cool at least. sapnap gets the most. sometimes bbh wants to be good for them but the rolls actually make them lose more points (like - makes a simpathetic NPC but it still gives them insane damage during battle). they are the kind to rp using their bodies to explain what's happening so the table has been flipped at least twice

dream would love to do his silly little lore voice and interacting with silly little npcs bbh puts in his way...

Wilbur: (I don’t actually remember which were which, I think this was the apologist one, then arc to what started watching?) Definitely Ranboo, he’s an enderchilde who just.. has nothing good happen to him. Let him be happy..

Quackity: probably the election/pogtopia arc. It had a lot of character development which was interesting to watch (and insanity/villain arcs, which I’m a sucker for apparently)

George: When Wilbur started posting, I immediately fell in love with it! The humor, chaos, drama, I was never someone for roleplay, especially not mc rp, but this one was really interesting and different from the others I had tried!

wilbur: which character are you an apologist for?

badboyhalo has done nothing wrong and that includes plotting to conquer the entire server and trying to brainwash ppl with the crimson egg /j

in all seriousness, TOMMY!!!! i could go on for ages about how tommy is simply a mentally ill teenager who has simply not been able to catch a break and how i love him so much and how he deserves to live his silly cottagecore dreams with his best friend

ok OBVIOUSLY the crimson arc, im a huge bbh stan and the crimson arc is so much fun!! BUT besides that... maybe the exile arc? i think it was so unique and let us rlly see a different side of tommy that rlly made u feel for him

OK so i obvs watched dream first bc hes a huge yter, and me n my sister kinda bonded over watching manhunts n stuff, n she told me abt one of tommys disc war videos and so i watched it and i was like hey this rules actually! i didnt rlly get into it until the election arc tho -o- i do specifically remember that when my sister was telling me abt what happens in the video, she couldnt remember tubbos name and its rlly funny looking back on that
