Is there a straightforward way to add color swatches to a forum post WITHOUT using images?
I'm working on updating my eye type color match guide with larger color swatches, but I'm seriously struggling to get unicode symbols to work... I've mannaged to make it cooperate on desktop by resizing the symbol font, but the size formatting doesn't seem to carry over to mobile?
I'll use images if I really have to, but creating/saving/hosting nearly 500 colored rectangles is going to be such a pain...
Any help would be very appreciated, haha.

Y'all forums still exist! I spend more time on forums than I do on Tumblr, they remain my primary means of social interaction.
i dont like the idea that kids these days are doing their fandom rps with ai chatbots. that's how you're supposed to make lifelong friends as a weird really online teen.

I get why Markdown became the dominant text formatting language but I gotta say I really miss BBcode. There are features of BBcode that to this day Markdown still can't do. I miss my [abbr]s and [table]s and [marquee]s. Steam Discussions are the only popular place keeping BBcode alive but it's also one of the armpits of the internet.
