Mile 1971, 2009 - Final Days in Edmond & Tulsa & OKC. The pace picked up with class presentations in OCU lectureship, listening to Dr. Jim Baird and time with the Park Plaza Church (the Mike Hawkins family), and visits at the Lighthouse Clinic (Pancho Dobbes) and with board member Tom Poteet and family. Who Said Retirement Isn't Adventurous? Pete and Mandi Shaw, members at Park Plaza Church in Tulsa, prove that it is and that can be fulfilling, life-shaping, and example-setting. For years they have saved and sacrificed to spend two weeks on campus helping our students in their English classes, gifting dresses to the wives, and modeling what it means to have a "faithful until death do us part" Christian marriage.
