"I know" it was something he had always known. But it was also strange to see her here again, and he wasn't sure if he was actually adjusting to her being here. "Mmm, from experience, nice people don't tend to throw rocks at people" he pointed out, which probably wasn't overly helpful right now. He understood the feeling too well, but then he would never claim to be a nice person. He wasn't sure he could be one, not with some of the things he'd done. Though his galaxy was very different from the one here. "What about telling me why you want to throw rocks at people instead?"

"Maybe" he wasn't sure if he wanted to think about it. When they had found Ezra, he hadn't been hunted for his powers, but that might be because Lothal had avoided Republic gaze back then. "Though I'll tell you now, the first thing any Master will teach you is that you need to let go. The Force around you is almost singing with regrets" it wasn't how he felt the Force, but it was the easiest way to describe it.

"Yeah, but what good was not knowing what you are. You are in danger whether you know what you are or you don't. Nala se thought she was protecting me, but it lead to more dangers and an imperial lock up." She admitted with a soft sigh. If she had known, if she had trained. Maybe she could have saved Tech, maybe he could have lived... maybes were the most dangerous things of ones past, the maybes were the biggest regrets.

It was nicer, hearing her talk about that rather than revenge. Perhaps that was on the way he was raised, revenge was not the Jedi way. Despite everything that had happened, he did still try to live by those teachings where it was possible. "I understand that feeling" his mind going back to Hera again. Once he had just wanted to see her again, now he just wanted to know she was safe, that was all. Know all of them were safe. "Just be careful, it's dangerous to put all your happiness on one person".

"Oh? Is that so?" he asked, not really able to hide the smile on his lips. That was a dangerous game though, especially when he had memories and she didn't. He had to be careful with this, he didn't want to force her into anything. "Still, suppose there's a very good reason for that, hard not to think about someone when you have a kid with them... right?" and there at least he was giving her an out, he knew how complicated all of this was.

As much as he tried to adjust, all of it was a lot to take in. One thing he could do at least was meditate, keep his connection with the force. He knew he used it more than most, he needed to, especially in such a unknown place and without any of his family around. That was until he felt a presence nearby. For a moment he thought it was Ezra, he could feel the force in them, but it was wrong. Someone else then, that was odd. "Can I help you?" he asked, though he didn't open his eyes. Well there was no point really for him, but he had no desire to reveal his eyes just yet.

"I was talking about back home. But the temple is here in Ivy Cove, how and why I don't know" he didn't even really want to think about it. The whole thing would link to why he was alive, and he was too afraid if he learnt the reason why, then it could end. He knew he shouldn't give into selfish desires, but was it really so much to enjoy this whilst it lasted?

At the question he hesitated, he didn't really use it anymore nor wanted to be recognised as it. "Mmm, during the Clone Wars. Was a long time ago".

It was a question he knew they had been darting around. In truth the decision had been his. There was other plans, other ways out of the factory that night where they all lived. But it was the will of the Force. It never meant it was absolute, just that it was the best way forward, and sometimes the Force was harder to fight. "You know why" he replied softly. "If the roles were reversed... you'd have done the same thing, for Lothal".

The easiest way to handle this right now was to use the force. It was a connection to all living things around him, and it definitely helped as he tried to find his bearings. This would all be so much easier if any of his crew was here, but instead he was alone. That wasn't a feeling he had felt in a long time, only at least this time no one seemed to be hunting jedi. Then he felt something... no someone. Different from others he had met around here. "You aren't from here either are you?" he asked, not bothering to open his eyelids, it didn't matter to him, but he knew how they looked.

"Oh probably" he didn't really know, but it also wouldn't really surprise him if he did. He'd done the basics, but anything more then that was a lot harder. "Bad night's sleep and... well lack of mirrors" well that was true, he didn't really need them after all, but it was still a bad joke. "How much of a mess are we talking?"

"Yeah, that sounds about right" though even if he was joking about it, he did miss the other. He had no doubt he could look after himself, so wanting him here was definitely selfish. "Really wish I had run into you a few weeks back. With Hera's memories missing, had no idea who Jacen's father was" and it had been hard to cope with that, not knowing if he was their son back home as well as here. "He is".

"It would have been rather funny though, to hear his reaction to being stuck here." Sabine comments with a smirk, making her voice go deeper as she playfully mocks Zeb's voice. "Karabast." She only says before laughing softly. "I'm glad, Ezra and I need to go visit all three of you, or I'm hoping Jacen is with you guys."

welcome to london, KANAN JARRUS! did anyone ever tell you that you look just like CARLOS MIRANDA? well, no matter, we hear that you are 32 and working as UNEMPLOYED. we also hear that you currently HAVE your memories from STAR WARS and have a tendency to be KINDHEARTED as well as INSECURE.

Most of the Jedi had believed that Caleb Dume was too young too become a padawan, but with the Clone Wars raging on desperate measures were needed, and he became the padawan under Depa Billaba. Why he survived Order 66, the will of the force, fate, or just luck, but he was with Clone Force 99 at the time. When he turned to see Depa be killed she told him to run. As their chips hadn't come into affect, they weren't actively trying to kill him. Caleb hadn't realised that as he ran, eventually escaping. He received the correspondence from Obi-Wan to stay away from the temple and to hide. Caleb Dume vanished.

It was a small group of rebels, seemingly led by Kanan Jarrus. They resisted the empire's rule, trying to help those they could. It was only by chance they had been in Lothel that day, when he sense a presence, soon meeting Ezra. It was then, it a rescue mission going south he revealed to the empire that he was a Jedi. He also realised Ezra was force sensitive, and took him under his wing to train. On finding a Jedi Temple, he was finally knighted. As the Rebellion in the galaxy grew, they became more involved, carrying out missions for them. However in a fight with Darth Maul, he was blinded. In the end, he sacrificed himself to save the rest of his crew. It was an action that eventually would cause Lothel to be free of the Empire.

He has his memories, and is still blind. He also never knew he had a son.

"Do you have a less complicated question?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Between Hera not having her memories, the confusion of if Jacen was their child here or in their old lives, and his Master being alive, he didn't have a lot of time to sleep these days. All of this was too complicated, and he wasn't sure if there would be any easy answers. "I'll be alright, plenty of caffeinated drinks in this town after all, one bad night sleep won't be too much of a problem" well more like several bad night sleeps.
