Here’s the one photo I took yesterday at the Reno Mini Maker Faire. This was taken on whole plate sized glass, as combo test for my chemicals. I was using a slightly modified mixture of ether & alcohol in my collodion, ensuring that it would stick to glass that had not been subbed with albumen. In addition, I was using a relatively fresh developer that I was using 80% acetic acid, versus the 99.9% Glacial acetic acid. Aside from me exposing for the shadows, which blew the top of the tent and sky out, my basic tests provide fruitful. #battlebornhistoricalphotography #kristinemcnary #collodionprocess #wetplatecollodion #reno #renominimakerfaire
