one small thing I appreciate about Aurora is that because she has freckles, in her splash art she gets to be one of the very few League of Legends women who looks like her face might have some kind of actual, y'know, normal skin texture (and in her base form, even a bit of peach fuzz, because bunny)

it's not a huge thing - like, her design isn't taking any kind of brave stand against beauty standards or anything - it's just a small thing that I like

I decided to join Anima Squad Fan Art contest hosted by Riot! I wanted to try something new and I got an idea for this short comic panel. Sadly I didnt have time to do some better backgorunds bcs I am traveling tomorrow but its okay as it is I think. Head-cannon: Hyrule's Shadow Crystal/Dark World Form is a Stag/Fawn

Many people here think it wold be an opossum or goat which is totally fair. But I think symbolically, Rulie would make a good deer/stag/fawn.

They are seen as symbols of strength, virility, agility, and endurance in mythology, as well as stamina, grace, instincts, maturity, regeneration, and spiritual enlightenment. The stag – sometimes referred to as hart – is exalted among other deer. He is mature and experienced, having endured life’s challenges, and he has a massive crown of antlers to show for it. Doesn't that fit Hyrule to a Tee?

Lets break it down further -Stags can run up to 40 miles per hour. Plus, they can jump eight feet high and as far as 30 feet. In addition, they can survive in sub-zero temperatures. Furthermore, the stag earns first priority rights to a territory and his choice of mates after battling other bucks for dominance.

One of Hyrule's spells/power is jump, and heavens knows he's a tough survivor in a dangerous era. His battle with his shadow takes place right before he finishes his quest to wake Aurora (Sleeping Princess of AoL).

This fits since stags can also depict spiritual enlightenment and connection to God. In Arthurian legends, the stag perennially avoided capture, symbolizing an unending spiritual quest...which given his blood curse is right on the rupee, especially since deer were held as sacred to the gods and/or used as sacrifices often.

And I'll admit...I am stuck with the idea that due to his humbleness and self-doubt, Hyrule manifests as a red-tail fawn to match Legend's pink bunny...ala Bambi and Thumper.

Legend didn't need his dignity anyway...

Moira is the new leader of the NeoOverwatch organization. This is only a fancy name of her business though, in reality, the facility serves to keep her fatties in check and well fed. She makes sure they keep getting fatter and recording them most of the time to sell their videos in her website. All that food, clothes, and research have to be paid somehow.

LEAGUE

Battle Bunny Miss Fortune: 5'1, 600 pounds. Fatty in denial being fattened up in secret.

Battle Bunny Zeri: 5'1, 450 pounds. She wanted to help Miss Fortune lose weight, so now she got caught up in a fattening trap.

Battle Cat Jinx: 5'4, 200 pounds. One of MF's feeders, she does sometimes snack though.

Battle Bat Vayne: 5'6, 250 pounds. The brains of the operation, it was her idea to fatten Sarah and then Zeri. However, she has a hard time not eating part of the products

Battle Bunny Aurora: 5'5, 210 pounds. Secretary who works at the Anima Squad HQ; she discovered a sudden influx of money tied to the sudden growth of all the girls and is now investigating it. Addicted to snacking, especially when busy.

Vex: 4'0, 800 pounds.

Tristana: 4'3, 800 pounds.

Poppy: 4'7, 800 pounds.

Lulu: 4'0, 80 pounds. Lulu is a crazy feeder. Her lust of fatties went to the point that she fattened up every woman in Bandle City up to immobility. Now, she lives with her 3 wives friends, making sure they are all as lazy and obese as possible, while also giving them loads of love. She is not above fattening up any girl that catches her eye.

Caitlyn: 5'1, 800 pounds. A pure ball of lard with pathetic stamina, even worse willpower, and in deep denial. Barely mobile.

VI: 6'5, 200 pounds (pure muscle). VI used to be a fatty, however, Caitlyn took it on herself to help her lose weight by eating her food. Now, Vi is a pure beefcake who lives to pamper, spoil, and keep her beloved princess fat and in denial.

PERSONA

Ann & Rise: 5'4 and 5'2, 300 pounds and 280 pounds respectively. Ann developed a fat fetish when she went to the US. Ever since, she has been trying to fatten herself up. Rise is her modeling partner in roommate, and sadly for her, being around someone who eats so much junk is affecting her own body.

Naoto: 5'3, 320 pounds. A detective trying her best to make a living in the world. However, her love for sweets and junk food lead her to quite a few embarrassing scenarios in front of her fellow officers. Things that only seem to get worse as she gets fatter.

Miscellaneous

Hilda (fire Emblem 3H): 5'0 (that's not even me, she is that short in canon), 150 pounds. Lazy and spoiled brat who will do everything to avoid any kind of physical work

Ivy (Fire Emblem Engage): 5'8, 180 pounds. Regal and proper queen, married to Alear. She is very formal and eloquent, however, gets embarrassed easily and becomes a stammering and blushing mess. Deeply afraid of ghosts. Looks after Alear by eating all the offerings for the Divine One.

I finished Tiger & Bunny recently and I gotta say what I liked most is the show’s ability of learning with itself. There will be some spoilers. And, no, I’m not counting spinoffs, just the two seasons (granted I should have watched the interquel movie).

It started as a parody of American superheroes, treating it like corporate stars and idols, but it quickly abandons the majority of the parody element (the only thing that reminds the viewer it's a parody is the product placement and the absurdity of having to do press conferences and photo shoots while there's crime happening). I think that its greatest strength was the relationship building between the superheroes, who start as rivals and really not interested in each other, but evolve to be real friends, especially Kotetsu and Barnaby (I read that they were going to name him Barney, now that would be hilarious).

In fact, this is so prominent that I think the part 1 finale was the weakest part. Jake Martinez feels like Jared Leto’s Joker and that Joker is already the discount Joker, so making Jake the discount of a discount. The writers just pulled his powers from the void and I felt nothing in those episodes. The part 2 finale wasn’t really that better, it was even more contrived (Kaede’s powers, Barnaby holding various idiot balls) and, while I get they were aiming for an ambitious plot with Barnaby, him being part of a Truman Show essentially, I didn’t feel like it delivered well.

But, comes season 2 (it look, like, a decade, but I could watch in succession), and I could see how they improved everything. The twins were heavily foreshadowed and the battle was much better. Besides, I mentioned that the show’s strength is their relationships and I’m glad they introduced the doubles system. But they really delivered in the final battle.

I really appreciate how the show explored the power that one troublemaker, Gregory Sunshine, can induce with concentrated strikes. It’s something that’s explored in complexity studies, butterfly effect, how a small interference can have large consequences, and that’s something really realistic. Plus, the writers applied better what makes a final battle so dramatic: quick exchanges of advantage – one time, the heroes have the advantage, but other the villains have it. The twists were well placed and they relied less on contrivances to move the plot forward. It even allows us to see one character in a new perspective – Audun was hyped up as this misunderstood antihero that wanted to save people and was harmed by the “system”, but when he finally shows up, he’s a dangerous manchild with a warped view of responsibility, and, ultimately, a dark reflection of Kotetsu’s early characterization. In overall, I was really excited with the last episodes – they even dropped the title “TIGER AND BUNNY HERO MODE” and it felt the hypest stuff!

It also raised a lot of interesting questions: in episode 8 of season 1, we’re shown the NEXT academy and a lot of people wanted to be superheroes, but Kotetsu just says “you have…a nice smile”. It’s clear that only people who have certain useful powers can be heroes, but the marketing sold them the idea any of them can be, it’s almost a scam, like a shady for-profit college (granted the NEXT academy doesn’t seem to be that much, since it helps them cope with being NEXTs, apparently). I have to admit I always thought the prejudice plot was dealt kinda awkwardly in season 1, but season 2 explores this better. There is this very useful NEXT, Aurora, that is so useful she managed to change a good part of the public opinion, but it doesn’t eliminate the fact that a vast part of the population still judges NEXTs’ dignity based on their usefulness, not on the fact they are, you know, people – it did help to diminish prejudice, but…there’s a lot to be done and the fact that public opinion can be swayed so quickly shows how flawed this is. That’s why Sigourney wants to kill her. And, Kotetsu realizes that, while she was wrong and even called her out in unambiguous terms for endangering people, he can’t deny she kinda had a point and society needs to do better, while Aurora feels like “oh, well, that was something that happened, but now I can close my eyes again, bye”. Of course, you can’t change everything from the night to the day, but the way Aurora just brushed off everything, she comes as deeply unsympathetic (at least for me); in contrast Kotetsu declared his intentions to do something about it (well, the show is almost over, they can't really show further than that) and I can believe he’ll work on something, after all he showed he cared in his character development.

In overall, Tiger and Bunny is a really show when judged by the sum of all its parts, and a good example of how a story that might be not living its potential can improve.
