#my car's battery was dead and i called and asked my dad to help me figure out what was wrong#my cars dash just 'service' and had an oil symbol#i was worried and he just told me to jump start the car like i had done it before#he wasnt patient and kind of chastised me#it was fine but i hadnt even opened the bonnet before and he wasnt waiting on me#i just wanted to ask if he knew what it could be#yippppeeee#i learned how to jumpstart at least -_-#i love my dad but the man has never really understood my level of anxiety LOL

Looks like no car for me until next week, I can't say I'm impressed by how the car situation has been handled so far. (But is there a car company that's guaranteed to be great about such things anyway?)
#sounds like it took forever to get a tow on thursday because polestar is cheap and offered the minimum as my insurance lacks roadside#so my car wasn't towed over until after the service center closed#and the person that took in my car put the info slip in the wrong box#so when i called at noon on friday they were all like 'what car' and had to look for it and the slip#but yeah if you have to get a tow from a townhouse on a narrow street it will be an annoying time#still probably better than a highway breakdown#very curious to find out if it was just the 12v battery or some other issue#i should probably learn how to jump start it it looked like the terminals were in weird places
