Oh, and while we’re here, who the heck’s this “PESSI/girl” person? (I know it’s this blog’s owner, don’t you bastards try to be cocky with me! ╰(艹皿艹 ) ) And what kind of AUDACITY do they have to call themselves a “monokuma fan”?! Cause this person’s doesn’t look like one to me! Sure, the banner includes a bunch of mes in it, and the pinned post has a small pixel sprit of me doing my iconic and serious arms-crossed pose from my splash art, but everything else? NOT related to me. The colors are pink and black instead of my signature monochrome, the avatar’s some weird head of a girl with the brain sticking out (its literally just a png of it slapped onto a drawing, 0 points for effort!) And who the heck names themself “bathroomgirl0024”? You could’ve picked anything, and you chose *that*? Really? Geez, I could come up with a better name than that!  

Like, maybe use “monokumafan2511” or something instead of relating yourself to bathrooms of all things!

Comfort-Tsundere!Monokuma x Reader

Request by @bathroomgirl0024 fic under the cut!

   He’s been getting on your nerves the second his stupid, soft body had popped up in the gym. His overenthusiastic, squeaky voice gives you headaches each time without failure. You remember that first day in the gym well, how you cheered when he exploded and almost cried when he popped right back up. He brings fear with him, his face popping up on the screen always sends you into panic, scared that yet another friend has died. When he popped up in your room tonight, you screamed. Dropping to the floor, scooting to the wall as he protested. You can’t escape. It’s past bedtime, you had been pacing your room for hours thinking about ways to escape Hope’s Peak, so everyone else had gone to their bedrooms, and there’s no way to run into the hallway and try other’s rooms, as he was standing on the side with the door. You screamed as he came closer, curling up into a ball and sobbing. The room was silent, your eyes scrunched shut for a few minutes, before you noticed the silence. You felt a hand brush over your shoulder comfortingly, a soft hand… probably Kirigiri’s glove, as it didn’t feel warm, and was a little fuzzy. Your crying calmed as you relaxed, your eyes fluttered open and- he didn’t leave. He was brushing a small black paw over your shoulder. You yelped and jerked, kneeing him and sending him flying. 

   “Hey! I just helped you out!” His voice shrieked, he bounced when he hit the floor, making a soft ‘squeak!’ before coming to a stop.

   “‘Helped me out?!’ You stuck me and my friends into a game of death, then you pop into my room in the dead of night to torment me about it!”    “Torment? Puhuhuhu, I’m not going to torment you, stupid.”    “Then what the hell are you here for?” You seethed, crawling towards the teddy bear. He explained about the cameras, which you weren’t happy that they were in the dorms. He had been checking the cameras and caught you still awake, and came down to make sure you got to sleep. Questioning why he cared, he simply brushed the question off. You hate to say it, but… spending the night calmly talking to him, even if he was your enemy, calmed you quite a bit. You crawled forwards, wrapping your arms around him, when your door busts open, Naegi rushing in, Kirigiri following after.     “Hey! You’re still-” Naegi stalled, his jaw dropping, Kirigiri turning on her heel with a huff.

   “We thought Monokuma was going to-” Kirigiri knocked the back of his head.

Okay, I'm not one to reblog cus like, I dunno the etiquette here and it just feels weird to do the majority of the time for me. ... Tumblr etiquette? I dunno! HOWVERRRRRRRR!!!!!!! This this shall be like, one of the exceptions. Not THE exception cus I dunno if anything else in the future is going to compel me to do this But like, oh my gosh! THEY WERE CARDS! Before I continue though. Like, thank you, @bathroomgirl0024! Thanks!! Like, the effort to deep dive and find all this obscure stuff from like 2013. Gosh that was over a decade ago! Also like OvO! I'd use something else to show appreciation but I avoid emoji's like the plague!

Also, I maaaaay have just woke up but this is like the most amazing thing ever like, ahem. I will now be ranting in the most excited way I can right now sooooo...

Makoto looks so fucking adorable and cheeky, Byakuya looks dumpy as hell in that Monokuma costume. No wonder he hates it. Monokuma looks like he wants to throw some paws at Byakuya a bit cus "This is meant to be fun, damn it!" and Byakuya is refusing to cooperate like the usual. And Kyoko looks cute too! Like, she's just vibing while the other two are being idiots in the background. While also holding wine? Is she planning on doing something with it? GASP! Kyoko! Getting crunk in a Monokuma costume?! Plastered?! Wasted?! How scandalous! But, also, the more I look at her, the goofier it gets cus like, Monokuma holds wine and since she's holding wine, or who knows. Maybe it's freaking grape concentrate. But like, since SHE'S holding it, it's channeling some major "cosplayer trying to be lore accurate with their cosplay via props and stuff" energy and that is freaking adorable. Like, look gang! She's just trying to accurately depict Monokuma to the fullest of extent's she can. Also, I swear! Makoto looks like such a dork here! Like, that is the grin of a goober right there! In the flesh. If my allegiances weren't to the tall, rich one, I'd be internally cooing more. That's mostly a joke! Mostly cus I AM still cooing at Makoto and like, all of them a bit cus they all look so dorky together. Like, as much as Kyoko's pretty chill here like, one cannot ignore the fact that they're in that Monokuma drippage. ... Why did I have to call it that? But yeah, they're in the Monokuma costumes and one can only look so flattering and cool before one is either dousing themselves in irony, jokes, playfulness, and grumpy energy to cope. Well, if they ARE coping. It's funny to look at it at that lens though even if Makoto and Kyoko do not give "smile through the pain" energy at all. Like, those two look like they're finding some good in this experience. Byakuya's a big NO though. Like NOPE! Another thing to note is that I find it funny though that this is legit not their first time doing this promotional art wise cus of the fact that there have been some other promotional art of the students dressed as Monokuma via costumes. And a part of my brain now wants to make an AU where Monokuma forces the THH cast to dress up in costumes of himself to promote stuff. Like "Upuhuhu! You guys gotta get in the cosplays now or no dinner for you!" I mean, in the school mode, he had them mining. They were mining. Not like, actually but it's not above Monokuma to literally send the guys to work in the mines

Also, the more I think about it, Byakuya's slender long-legged body type did NOT save him here. Like, he looks even goofier BECAUSE he's a long, tall business man.

Also my freaking gosh like, again THANK YOU!!! You're a hero @bathroomgirl0024 like, I have not seen many other places or people find or mention this full image. I've only seen the cropped one until well, this very moment. Today. March 26th, 2024.

but OH BOY, what can I say about homestuck...

well, I'll be honest with you, I started reading some odd years back, got 1000+ pages in, & I hhhhhaven't picked it back up since. I'm sorry, I'm sure SOMEDAY I'll finish it, but my brain shits the bed at the thought of 8000+ pages & probably 8000+ games. it is an IMPRESSIVE work from what I understand, both in length & for it's undoubtable charm that's kept readers & players coming in & staying for YEARS, to the point that the story itself has become one with history & internet culture as a whole, which is truly incredible.

despite the jokes we make with it, that is NO easy feat. & yeah, I know too that its obviously got its issues; jokes that didn't age well, jokes & allegories that weren't at all necessary to begin with, the creator's not great - ect, but nevertheless. not everything important or great is squeaky clean & without it's problems, of course. but it's just !!!!!! my god.

& i think the concept of the trolls is honestly a really creative one, actually - EVEN IF I DON'T UNDERSTAND ALL THE BLOOD HIERARCHY STUFF, just. allegedly giijinka-fied internet trolls & they all suck. i've always had something of a fondness for eridan ( to no one's surprise ) & i've just recently learned a bit more about him when my friend looked into the friendsim game, & oh my god. geekass loser, my favorite flavor

MORE PROMINENTLY, my friends all like homestuck, so it's become a running gag that anytime someone so much as mentions it, i seethe
