This customer stripped his 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 down the the bare wood decades ago when he was younger and decided he wanted to bring it back to life and make it look like it did when it was new. Thankfully the original color was still in the pickup and control cavities so we were able to match it exactly. We get some unusual requests sometimes from customers. This would be one of them. Sprayed in satin lilac purple w/ an ice cream bar that looks pixelated like a 16 bit video game. Customer supplied a rendering of what they wanted and this is dead on to it.
