Everybody likes to skip Basin Falls at Uvas County because it looks dried up while looking at it from the bottom of Nature Trail. But if you actually hike to the falls, then climb it, you’ll find a small hidden oasis (about 4 ft deep) surrounded by gorgeous rocks. Pieter Henket

Congo Tales is a project by Pieter Henket about the people and their homes in one of the biggest rainforests in Africa. Henket was able to capture the beauty of the landscape, people, their community, the forest, and their culture in the local Congolese communities in the Mbomo district of the Congo Basin. Congo Basinfall was the main focus of Henket’s project. Throughout all of these images, Henket not only brings awareness to the ecosystem of Congo Basinfall but also for its people and their culture. 

I think Congo Tales is a beautiful art piece. The color, composition, and lighting are beautifully done.  Henket shows us how Beautiful Congo is. The beauty of mother nature and human living in harmony as one. Pieces like The Rainbow Python and The River are two of my favorite ones. Congo Tales is filled with beautiful and breathtaking images. Images that I would love to one day display in my house.
