Hey you seem to know a lot about doctor who, I'm thinking of watching the new series that just came out but do I need to watch the previous series?
I’d say not necessarily. They do reference a few major arcs from the previous seasons, but I think you should be able to enjoy the individual plot of each episode + the overarching season plot just fine.
