I'm usually not one to power scale, or put hax vs hax, but I had a genuine question that needs answers.
In Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, there's a Stand called "Wonder of U", which holds the power of calamity. In order for his ability to activate, you have to engage in the act of pursuing Wonder of U, which can be activated by merely thinking of him or his user.
Once the power is activated, calamity will befall the pursuer and everyone in their immediate vicinity until they stop pursuing him, which usually involves them just flat-out dying. This power can even turn things as inconsequential as bumping into someone into something fatal, tearing your body apart. It also has a potentially infinite activation range, as it does not matter where in the world you are, Wonder of U will cause calamity to befall you.
Realistically speaking, could this power actually stop the Godhand?
the godhand are men made concepts. theyre like the Gods in Olympus or The Horsemen of the Apocalypse... they represent and mirror humanity's tragedies and pain. they literally exist in another universe but also rule the lives of the people in the real world. where do their powers lie? what are their weaknesses? what are their strongest powers? its not stated in canon. the scope of their power and their vulerabilities are left as a big questionmark because they are meant to be beyond both power and weakness.
can this stand kill a god? does it work in the dimension beyond the interstice? can it be countered or weakened by the abilities of the person who it affects? or is it like a curse or a vex? in the world of berserk that is ruled by fate and destiny if you see this power as an extension of THAT, it might be a pretty big deal and it might work to take the godhand down... but then again the godhand are just place-hold positions, even if you manage to kill the actual one, another one will reincarnate to take its place in an eclipse. you can kill the man but not the concept and all that. so we're back at square one. you killed femto, the archangel of desire? well here you go, have femmentino, the new and improved archangel of desire!! you shouldn't be fighting individuals, you should be fighting the system!! which is basically what berserk is all about....
idk lol, went on a tangent there sorryyy. but i also never understood or cared about power-scaling and tbh i love berserk cus it doesnt either. thanks for the ask!!!!!!!!
