A bit unrelated maybe but I just saw what you said about "Joseph becoming the next speedwagon aka being useless" in your post and I think you might be completely misreading Speedwagon's character if you really think he was useless. And I'm not talking about what he did through the Speedwagon Foundation only but also about the important role he plays all the way from Part 1. Just to give an example, a lot of people seem to ignore that he actually saved Jonathan's life more than a couple times.
There have been different essays around about how Speedwagon's entire character often gets completely misread by a lot of Jojo fans but I think this person here summed it up it very well https://www.tumblr.com/earthbovndmisfit/700589620834025472/i-hate-it-when-speedwagon-is-dismissed-as-a
It was a hasty tag that was super squished and not worded well, I didn't realize how much that really threw him under the bus until like right now 😭
Basically my brain went: Joseph became main announcer on sidelines like Speedwagon -> Joseph also lost a lot of his character development from P2/character assassination -> Joseph has become like Speedwagon aka the announcer role -> Joseph is "useless" for the most part
But what came out was "Joseph is majorly useless because he became the main announcer like Speedwagon used to be" and that's on me.
Essentially I meant it Joseph becoming the main fight referee like Speedwagon was, but not really getting into battle anymore despite his op abilities/cleverness/etc. The useless bit was more of a criticism of writing Old Joseph, but Speedwagon got caught in that.
It was badly worded, I'm gonna pray to Speedwagon and his incredible melting pecs for forgiveness 🙏
