when someone asks me if i manage to get good sleep while camping and i go into my incredibly specific sleeping setup that allows me to sleep like a rock without fail

#base: ultralight sleeping mat. 1/8’’ foam rubber that protects and holds inflatable pad in place.#then inflatable pad. blown to about 90% fullness #sleeping bag 3/4 zipped up. inflatable pillow blown up to ~60%#duffel bag/backpack thrown into left half of tent so my sleep kit is precisely wedged between bag and door #i’m precisely wedged between bag and door so i can’t roll off the pad. and the bag supports my back #boom. perfect comfort. i fall asleep in 10 minutes and do not wake up til the morning.
