August doesn't mind doing farm chores because it means getting to spend time with his favorite person in the world, Uncle Alejandro. Alejandro never stays in one place for long, but when he isn't off traveling, he parks his camper behind their house and helps out with the animals and the garden. As a former mixologist, he also makes a mean root beer float, and he's always quick to give in to August's pleas for a refreshing reward once their work is finished.
