Thursday, December 1, 2022 | 1:00 pm Meeting ID: 978 6585 2624 Passcode: 065822 This artist talk is brought to you by Prof. Lisa Blas and the Professional Practice class of Senior Year BFA candidates, to discuss his work as a photographer and the formation of Hunters Point Press. Barney Kulok was born in New York City in 1981 and received his B.A. from Bard College in 2005. His work has been exhibited widely nationally and internationally and is held in various public and private collections. In 2012 his first monograph Building was published by Aperture Foundation and in 2016 he founded Hunters Point Press in Long Island City, NY, where he has published monographs on the work of Jared Bark (2016), Janice Guy (2018) B. Wurtz (2020), and Baldwin Lee (2022) in addition to a collection of poems by Jeremy Sigler (2020). Kulok is represented by Galerie Hussenot, Paris, and lives in Long Island City.
