Time to turn out the lights and eat some leftover candy and head to bed to warm up.
We decided to camp out with our candy goody bags and chips and glow sticks outside the front door. We handed out to 67 kids. But it got really cold, I wasn’t wearing my gloves so my fingers were icy freezing.
One kid near the end of the night got his goody bag, and then asked for more candy, opening his jacket and revealing a water pistol, indicating a threat. My wife said, “I think you’ve had enough.” But what a little 12 year old jerk! If he did that to the wrong person, they could have been in serious trouble.
But I’ve got my cocoa and am watching a show in bed, eating candy and delighting in the warmth.
