Sometimes looking at the agere community online makes me feel... old. Not so much bodily old, but emotionally. I know the point of regression is to connect with a younger mindset but so much content feels so forced and fake. I get really annoyed by the babytalk and the ditzy personalities that are so obviously generated falsely for image, and it's just so actually exhausting. Every post is the same UWUspeak and the same harmful rhetoric about toxic positivity and derealization.

I am an autistic adult and I am learning to unmask, and maybe my issue is that I just have a really low threshold for that. I don't know and I really am at a loss. I want to interact more with other adults here but it's just hard for me. I don't know. maybe it's just me, maybe it's because my regression effects my life differently, but I really have been having a hard time fitting in to these spaces because of it. I do believe that everyone should have a space of their own in this community and should be able to express themselves in any way they want, however at times everything feels so played up and unauthentic.

Regardless, my page is for ME, and I will be authentic to MY experiences, how I see ft to post them. Don't come into my dms and ask box to tell me I'm doing something "wrong". I will just block you.

Hi there! You can call me Ronnie, or Ripley, my fursona . I made this blog to give myself a space to journal about my experiences as an autism person who experiences regression as a coping mechanism, and to express myself and my more child-like interests.
