Banjaran Hot Springs is set on gorgeous, picturesque tropical grounds on the outskirts of Ipoh, the third largest city in Malaysia. Though it's a serene and quiet location that feels remote, it's easy to get to and is within walking distance of a couple of dining options. The hotel neighbors the Lost World of Tambun theme park, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Area attractions like the Sam Poh Tong Temple and the Han Chin Pet Soo museum are about a 25-minute drive away. Penang is about a two-hour drive northwest, while Kuala Lumpur is a bit over a two-hour drive south. Kuala Lumpur International Airport is two-and-a-half hours away.
