Teume Cafe: Yedam ending: Sereni-tea
masterlist
written by milky ^_^
-
you spend every single day of your finals studying at the Teume café, and you swear it's not on purpose, but you always find yourself there when Yedam is working.. what a coincidence!
he always brings you a new drink to try, always with a saucer so you don't spill your drinks over your notes.
"i think you'll like this one. based on your reviews of all the drinks i've given you this past few days, this time of flavour seems to match your taste. it's a flavoured tea latte this time!" he tells you one day as he sets another drink down.
his grin makes you dizzy and you smile awkwardly at him as you take a sip.
"it's really good," you say.
you watch Yedam try to hold in his laughter. his eyes gloss over as he tears up while doing so.
"huh?" you ask.
"you've got foam on your lips..." he says quietly, right away wiping it off with his thumb. he slips the thumb into his mouth, and the way he does everything so naturally gives you butterflies.
at this point, you have no more doubts. Yedam is definitely flirting with you.
at first, you thought he was just some kind of playboy, but you've noticed he only acts this way with you. while he throws brief smiles and speaks warmly to other customers, his winks, grins, and him literally touching your lips are not things he does with other people.
you even talked about it with Haruto the other day. yes, Haruto! you finally got to meet the café's pretty boy, and he's actually a great listener.
he told you that, just between you and Haruto, Yedam definitely feels some type of way about you.
"he knows what time you'll come in so he always makes sure the spot you usually sit at is clean, and that your favourite songs are playing. nothing is by chance when you walk into the café anymore. he does everything for you."
thinking about Haruto's words makes you shiver, not in a bad way but because you're so overwhelmed with Yedam'a attention to detail.. and again, overwhelmed in a good way.
"are you cold? should i lower the ac?" Yedam asks immediately, worry flooding his face.
"no, no!" you say, trying to explain that your shiver didn't mean anything.
yet, before you know it, Yedam's jacket is hanging on your shoulders.
"oh.." you say.
"don't catch a cold while you study, y/n," Yedam tells you, going back behind the counter.
-
you manage to get some studying done despite being lost in your thoughts about Yedam and his flirting. once you decide you should take a study break, you lean back in your chair and stretch, then standing up to talk to Yedam for a bit to pass the time.
"how's it going?" he asks while wiping the counter.
"pretty good! i've been getting a lot done.. i actually feel ready for my exams!"
Yedam smiles and it feels like the sun is shining.
"i'm so glad.. you've been working so hard!" he says.
suddenly, he stops wiping and his expression turns more serious. he looks at the counrer as he tells you, "after your exams are done, will you agree to do something with me?"
"do what?" you ask.
"go on a date," Yedam replies, shyly for someone who's been nonstop flirting with you.
"oh.. i'd actually like that!" you say.
Yedam smiles, a blush coating his cheeks.
"just tell me when your last exam is. i can pick you up and we'll go eat something good together," he says.

Teume Cafe: Mashiho Ending: Meant to Bean
masterlist
written by reyd ;)
Throughout the last few weeks you’ve been going into the cafe more and more. Before class, after, sometimes even during free periods. You still had yet to meet Haruto (apparently he only worked on weekends) but you’d met the manager, Yoshi, and he was just as beautiful as the other boys.
You two had only talked twice, and you’d convinced yourself he was a skater boy underneath the coffee shop uniform. Other than that time, you'd talked more in depth with Mashiho and Yedam, getting to know them, their aspirations, and their personalities.
There had been a few things you expected, such as Yedam majoring in music, but some surprises as well. Apparently, Mashiho had appeared in a music video for a band called AKMU. You began to really like their company, and they were no longer just stress relievers, they were your friends.
There was just- something about Mashiho though. Something about his smile sent shock waves of security and calmness through your veins.
It was like a steroidal version of when you’d been dating the soccer captain at your high school, Jihoon. Except this time, you could see a future with him, and you highly doubted Mashiho was the type to ghost you.
Sighing heavily, you realized you were falling for him.
“Is everything okay?” a deep voice cuts through your thought process (aka thought train wreck.)
Looking up, you made eye contact with a boy with a blonde mullet and deep brown eyes. He seemed both intimidating and kind at the same time. Coupled with his looks, you put the two and two together.
“Haruto, I presume?” you raised an eyebrow at him and he gave you a quizzical smile.
“How do you know?”
“You’re almost a household name at this point.” You joke, and then tell him that Mashiho and Yedam talked about him a lot.
“Ah. So then you must be the person that Mashiho keeps going on about.” He winked and handed you a cookie.
You blushed, whether because Mashiho had been mentioning you or because he winked at you, you aren't sure.
“You know, Mashiho’s really shyer than he seems,” He commented. He opened his mouth to continue, but Mashiho walked out of the back before he could continue, and he whisks himself away.
“Hi!” Mashiho came over to you, peeking into the almost empty cup.
“Wow, you must really like that one. It’s my favorite, so i understand.”
You glanced over at Haruto (who conveniently was cleaning the counter beside you) and took a risk. “I guess we have a lot in common! It’s like we’re meant to bean.”

Arrows and Affection

Pairing: warrior!Yeosang x fem!reader
AU: historical au (Joseon era)
Word Count: 4.8k
Summary: Admiral Kang never misses his mark—until today. No matter how many times he draws his bow, the bullseye remains untouched. The wind hasn't changed, nor has his skill faltered. The only difference? The presence of a certain someone who has somehow turned his unwavering focus into a battlefield of its own.
Genre: fluff, comedy
A/N: Y'all when I saw these damn pics Yeo posted, I knew I'd have to write something. Then I heard Fallin' by Bang Yedam and couldn't stop thinking about this scenario.
ATEEZ MASTERLIST
I still cannot believe this man is real.
The thought echoed in your mind as you struggled to tear your gaze away from him. With effortless precision, Kang Yeosang drew his bow, his stance steady, his movements practised to perfection. Years of training had made archery second nature to him—so much so that watching him was almost hypnotic. He wasn't just any warrior; he was the Admiral Kang, the youngest and most revered commander in Joseon, a man whose victories in battle had cemented his place in history. And yet, despite his fearsome reputation, you still found it surreal that you could stand this close to him.
"Wh-what are you doing here? You shouldn't be here right now!"
The urgent whisper jolted you from your thoughts. A senior maid stared at you in horror, eyes wide as she took in your pitiful attempt to hide behind a paper door—one that did little to conceal your presence. You flashed her a sheepish grin and waved the washcloth in your hand. "Relax, I'm just cleaning. No one pays attention to a maid doing her job."
She sighed, exasperated. "That may be, but the admiral specifically requested complete silence during his training. We cannot risk disturbing him."
You huffed. "Well, then that doesn't make him a very good archer, does it? If he's truly the best, he should be able to shoot well anywhere. The battlefield isn't exactly a peaceful place, now is it?"
Her face paled at your audacity, and she frantically motioned for you to lower your voice. Then, as if realising she wouldn't win this argument, she reached for your washcloth. "Please, just this once, listen to me. Besides, you know very well you're not—"
Before she could finish, you pressed a finger to her lips, silencing her. "I've been good all week, haven't I? I did everything you asked—no complaints. Just let me stay here for a bit and enjoy the view, yeah? You can have my meal again tonight," you added with a wink.
She shook her head, already resigned to her fate, too tired to argue or remind you that everything you had done over the past week was merely your duty. "Fine. But promise me you won't distract the admiral, and make sure you return to your quarters before—"
"I will, I will," you interrupted, beaming. "And I promise, you won't get in trouble because of me!"
You clapped soundlessly in victory as she handed your washcloth back, shaking her head in disbelief before walking away. But not before shooting you one last pleading look, silently begging you not to cause any more trouble. You only grinned in response, sticking your tongue out playfully and waving goodbye before returning to your so-called task—wiping down an already spotless door. A door that, conveniently, gave you the perfect view of the admiral, deep in focus as he trained.
A small sigh of awe slipped past your lips, your earlier mischievous grin softening into a dreamy smile as you watched him. He checked his bow with practised ease before getting into position once more, gripping it firmly. You bit your lip, anticipation bubbling inside you—this was your favourite part. He raised his bow, holding an arrow in place, lifting it just high enough to aim. Then, with calculated precision, he closed one eye to focus on his target.
Damn.
This pose—this was the one that always left you weak in the knees. Just when you thought he couldn't possibly be any more attractive, he went ahead and proved you wrong. Every. Single. Time.
Despite his fearsome reputation on the battlefield, Admiral Kang was, at heart, a little... adorable. When he wasn't fighting wars, he always seemed lost in his own world, absentmindedly staring at whoever was speaking to him with that cute, dazed expression. He was a unique character, to say the least. And maybe that was why you loved seeing this side of him even more—the version of him that was serious, focused, and completely in his element.
It was just so freaking hot.
Until it… wasn't.
Your futile wiping came to an abrupt halt as you furrowed your brows, watching the unfamiliar scene unfold before you. For the first time in all the years you had known him, he let out a sharp curse, frustration flickering across his usually composed face. He reached for another arrow, aiming with a little more force than necessary. Your gaze darted to the target board—only to realise that he had missed the bullseye.
Your mouth fell open. He missed?
A tiny gasp escaped you because, quite frankly, that was unheard of. Admiral Kang never missed—not once since he had built his legendary reputation. It was practically the first rule of the universe: the sun rises, the rivers flow, and Kang Yeosang hits his mark every single time. Yet here he was, missing the target like some rookie foot soldier.
You bit your lip, suddenly concerned. Was he okay? Maybe today just wasn't his day. Maybe that's why he had insisted on training alone.
And then—thunk! Another miss.
Your concern quickly morphed into something else entirely as you took in the sight of him, all tense muscles and narrowed eyes, jaw clenched in frustration. Oh. Oh no. Why was this... hot?
You didn't think you'd ever witness the day Kang Yeosang would be this visibly mad—not at you, not at anyone, but at himself. And somehow, instead of feeling purely sympathetic, your brain short-circuited with an entirely inappropriate thought: angry Admiral Kang was stupidly attractive.
His brows knitted together as he grabbed yet another arrow, muttering a string of curses under his breath, his voice lower and rougher than usual. It was such a stark contrast from his usual soft, slightly dazed self that it sent a shiver down your spine.
Oh, this is dangerous.
You had to press a knuckle to your mouth to stifle the delighted squeal threatening to escape. Because good god, if this man got any hotter, you might just pass out right then and there.
"Goddamnit," Yeosang cursed under his breath, his eyebrow twitching as his fourth shot missed its mark.
With a sigh, he closed his eyes, forcing himself to quell the frustration bubbling inside him. He couldn't believe he was letting this affect him. He wasn't a fool. He was the youngest admiral in Joseon, after all—he had noticed your presence the second you stepped foot inside.
But he hadn't said anything.
At first, he assumed it was just some clueless new maid who had wandered in, unaware of the rules. He was ready to ignore it altogether. But then—he heard your voice. His sharp hearing picked up on your hushed negotiation with a senior maid, who was desperately trying to shoo you away. His pulse quickened.
It was you.
And like a complete idiot, instead of brushing it off, he found himself wanting to impress you. That's where he had gone wrong. His focus had wavered, and now, for the first time in his career, his shots were landing anywhere but the bullseye.
Who knew a single woman could have such an effect on him?
Annoyed—mostly at himself but also at you for making him embarrass himself like this—he finally cleared his throat, loud enough for you to hear.
"Just how long do you plan on hiding there?" he called out, finally turning toward your direction.
He had to bite down on his lip to keep from laughing at your absolutely pathetic attempt at concealment. Pressed flat against the paper door like it would somehow make you invisible, your familiar silhouette was outlined perfectly against the thin material—especially with the sunlight streaming in from behind.
He sighed, setting down his bow and taking a step closer. "I knew you were there the moment you walked in. Show yourself."
Crap. Crap. Crap.
You thought you had been sneaky, but apparently not. If he had known you were here all along, that meant trouble—because you were supposed to be elsewhere. And, worse, he knew that because you weren't just any ordinary maid.
Your only hope now? Act like one.
With your head lowered, you stepped forward hesitantly, bowing respectfully. "A-apologies, my lord. I was only here to clean. I know you asked to be left alone today, and I shouldn't have lingered," you murmured, voice small. "I'll leave at once."
You turned on your heel, ready to flee, but his voice stopped you cold.
"Hold on a second."
Your heart slammed against your ribs. Oh, no. You had promised the senior maid you wouldn't cause trouble, and now you were on the verge of dragging her into this mess.
"If you knew I asked for privacy," he mused, his voice deep and steady, "why did you come here in the first place?"
You gulped, fingers tightening around the washcloth in your hands. This was not how today was supposed to go. You had planned to admire him for a while, soak in the view, and then sneak back to your actual post. Not get caught red-handed.
"Answer me," he pressed.
Your breath hitched. His voice was much closer this time.
Too close.
"I-I was wrong, my lord," you stammered.
He sighed. "That's not what I want to hear. Because of you, I lost my focus. Look me in the eyes and tell me the truth."
Slowly, you turned—only to find him standing right behind you. There was no escaping now. No more excuses. It was time to own up to your mistake.
"I… I just—" you blurted before throwing your hands up in defeat. "I missed you, okay?! I wanted to see your stupid face before going back to my boring duties. Is that a crime?"
Silence.
Then, Yeosang smiled. "See? Now, was that so difficult?" he teased, leaning down slightly to meet your pouting face.
"You knew it was me all along?" you asked, narrowing your eyes.
He nodded.
"How?"
He smirked, fingers tilting your chin up until your eyes met his. "How could I not? You're far too beautiful to be just a maid, my lady."
Heat rushed to your cheeks as you huffed, swatting his hand away. "Ugh, I really thought I had you fooled."
His grin widened. "So, does this mean you finally admit you missed me? What happened to 'I don't want to see your dumb face again'?"
Your jaw dropped. "You did not just bring that up."
"Oh, but I did." He leaned in, voice dripping with amusement. "Verbatim."
Scoffing in disbelief, you pushed at his chest—though, of course, he barely budged. "You're impossible."
Turning away with a dramatic hmph, you muttered, "Go ahead, tell your mother I sneaked out. I'll take whatever punishment she has for me, as usual. Not like you'd ever stand up for me in front of her."
Before you could take another step away from him, Yeosang moved swiftly, wrapping his arms around you from behind. His voice was softer now, warm against your ear.
"I'm sorry, my love." His embrace tightened slightly. "You know how she is when it comes to the duties of a daughter-in-law. I wish I could do something, but as the admiral's wife, you have to set an example for the people. I know those lessons bore you to death, but she's only here for the Lunar New Year. Just hang in there for a little longer, yeah?"
You sighed, finally allowing yourself to melt into his warm embrace—the very one you had gone without for nearly a week.
You had been giving him the silent treatment ever since he failed to defend you when his mother insisted you attend etiquette lessons for the entirety of the Lunar New Year. You had protested, of course—this was supposed to be the one time of the year when your husband was free from his duties, a rare chance for the two of you to be together. But instead, she had taken that precious time away, forcing you into lessons you had little patience for.
Deep down, you understood her reasoning, but that didn't make it any less frustrating. You had been looking forward to this time for weeks, only to have it stolen from you. And so, out of pure stubbornness, you had refused to attend the lessons diligently. Your frustration had driven you to banish Yeosang from your shared quarters in the heat of the moment—a decision you regretted almost immediately. Sleeping in an empty bed had been unbearable, but your pride had been too strong to call him back from the guest chambers.
So, today, desperate for an escape from yet another dreary lesson, you had feigned illness and slipped away. If your mother-in-law discovered your empty room, there would be consequences—not just for you, but for the poor maid who had dared to help you.
The admiral sighed against your hair, his arms tightening around you as if afraid you'd slip away again. Then, with gentle insistence, he turned you in his embrace, his warm hands cupping your cheeks. His thumbs brushed over your skin, wiping away the traces of your lingering pout.
"You're so stubborn," he murmured, his tone laced with fondness. "But I suppose that's part of why I love you."
Your heart skipped a beat. His gaze, steady and filled with an emotion so tender it made your breath hitch, held yours captive.
"I missed you too, you know," he admitted at last, exhaling as if finally releasing a weight from his chest. "Do you have any idea how hard it was to sleep without you? To wake up every morning and not see your annoying little grin first thing?" His lips quirked up slightly, but there was sincerity in his words.
You blinked up at your husband, guilt slowly creeping in.
"I know I should've defended you more," he continued, his voice softer now. "But it's not that simple, my love. I already defied my mother once when I chose you—when I turned my back on the noblewoman she wanted for me. I chose you because you are everything I ever wanted. You're bright, bubbly, and full of life. You make even the dullest moments feel exciting. And though she may not understand it now… you are the best decision I have ever made."
Your breath caught in your throat.
He let out a quiet sigh, his thumbs still tracing circles against your skin. "I just… I only want the two most important women in my life to get along. That's all I've ever wanted. I know it's not easy for you, and I know she can be difficult, but if you could just try… even a little, it would make things easier. For both of us."
Your chest tightened. You had been so caught up in your own frustration that you hadn't once stopped to consider how hard this must have been for him too. Balancing the expectations of a mother he respected and the love of his life—how exhausting that must have been.
Your gaze softened, and you lifted your hands to rest over his. "I… I didn't think about it that way," you admitted, cheeks warming. "I was so focused on my own feelings that I didn't realise how hard this must be for you too."
He said nothing, only watching you with patient eyes as you let the realisation settle.
You sighed, leaning into his touch. "I'm sorry," you whispered. "I promise… I'll try to be better from now on."
At that, his entire face brightened, relief flooding his features as he pulled you in closer. "Really?"
You gave a small nod, lips curving into a sheepish smile. "Really." Then, with a playful glint in your eyes, you added, "I promise I won't be sneaking off to give you surprise visits like I did today again, Admiral Kang."
His jaw dropped slightly, and you could practically see the flicker of realisation in his expression. You had him. As disciplined and upright as he usually was, even he couldn't deny that your little intrusion today had made things far more exciting. Damn the impropriety of it all—he loved you for that.
"Oh, you little minx," he muttered, shaking his head in faux exasperation before a smirk tugged at his lips. A breathless chuckle escaped him as he dipped down, capturing your lips in a soft yet lingering kiss. His warmth seeped into you, his touch grounding you in the moment. He kissed you as if he had been waiting for this forever, as if every second apart had been an eternity.
When he finally pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours, his grin utterly boyish. "Does this mean I can move back into our quarters now?"
You huffed, pretending to think it over, watching as he waited—far too eagerly—for your answer. His hands remained on your waist, thumbs tracing gentle circles against your sides, as if afraid you might slip away again.
Finally, you sighed dramatically. "Fine. But only because I missed you too."
His laughter rang through the air, light and full of joy, before he swooped in to kiss you again, sealing your truce with all the love he had to give.
When he pulled away, neither of you moved for a moment, eyes closed as he pressed his forehead against yours again. He simply breathed—cherishing the warmth of your presence after a week apart.
He knew you had been upset, not just about the lessons but because he hadn't sided with you when you protested. But what could he have done? He was caught between the two most important women in his life—his mother, the woman who raised him, and you, the woman he vowed to cherish. It was never a choice he wanted to make, so he had remained neutral, though it had pained him to see the disappointment in your eyes.
Still, that was why he had spoken to his mother later, asking her to go easier on you. You might not have noticed, but she had—she never truly reprimanded you for your inconsistent attendance, and Yeosang had never made a fuss when you kicked him out of your shared quarters, knowing you needed space. No matter how much it killed him to be away from you, he respected your emotions.
But now, feeling the way you held onto him just as tightly as he held onto you, he was glad. Glad that you were willing to meet him in the middle. That was one of the many reasons he loved you so much.
He could still remember the look of surprise on his mother's face when he had, for the first time, broken out of his usual quiet and composed demeanour—other than the time he had first brought you home, announcing with unwavering conviction that you were the love of his life and the only woman he would marry.
It had shocked her then. And it had shocked her again when he spoke up for you, telling her how much you meant to him and how he wished for the woman who raised him to care for his wife the same way she had always cared for him.
And surprisingly, she had understood.
Truthfully, his mother had never truly been against you. At first, she had been wary—sceptical of how well a woman as lively and outspoken as you would fit into their composed and traditional household. But over time, she began to understand why her son had chosen you.
You were bright—perhaps a little too much at times—but she had come to admire your honesty. She never had to worry about a two-faced daughter-in-law who smiled sweetly in front of her but harboured resentment behind her back. You were genuine—straightforward with your emotions, never afraid to show your displeasure or your affection. And above all, the love you and Yeosang shared was undeniable. At the end of the day, that was what mattered to her most. That her son was happy.
And as the admiral held you now, he knew that happiness was right here, in his arms.
"So, tell me," Yeosang murmured, tilting his head as he gazed into your eyes, the ones he adored so much. "How exactly did you manage to slip out of your lesson today?"
You bit your lip, knowing there was no use lying when he was already staring at you so intently. With a sheepish grin, you admitted, "I told her it's that time of the month and that the pain was too unbearable to continue."
He let out a soft laugh, shaking his head as he reached out to squish your cheeks. "And yet here you are, sneaking around in a maid's uniform just to watch your incredibly handsome husband practice. You must've been desperate for me, hm?"
You scoffed, prying his hands off your face only to squish his cheeks in return. "That's right, admiral. I came all this way just to see you fail miserably at hitting a bullseye over and over again. All because your wife was watching."
His jaw dropped in exaggerated offence as he gasped. "You wound me, my love," he declared dramatically before bending down to retrieve his bow. Then, with a smirk, he held it out to you. "If you're so clever, Lady Kang, why don't you show me how it's done?"
"Gladly," you shot back, grabbing the bow with confidence—only for your bravado to falter the moment you realised just how heavy it was. Your arms wobbled slightly under the unexpected weight, but you cleared your throat, pretending as if nothing had happened.
Your husband noticed. Of course, he did. But to his credit, he bit back his laughter, unwilling to embarrass you further. Instead, he simply watched, eyes gleaming with fondness. If only you knew how much his heart swelled with pride and affection at this moment—seeing you attempt something he had always wanted to teach you. He had dreamed of this for so long, hoping to pass on at least the basics of archery, if only as a means of self-defence. But the opportunity had never come—until now.
Clumsily, you reached for an arrow, fumbling slightly as you held it up. He softened, stepping behind you in an instant. His arms slid around you, one hand lifting the bow's weight with ease, the other steadying your trembling grip as he helped you pull the arrow back.
You glanced up at him, feeling the warmth of his breath near your ear, the solid comfort of his presence surrounding you completely. You had never felt safer. It was moments like these that reminded you just how much pride you had in being his wife. That even after everything, you still found it hard to believe that this man—this strong, kind, and loving man—was truly yours.
"Now focus and aim," he murmured. "We'll release when you're ready."
Nodding, you focused on the target, narrowing your eyes as you slowly closed one to improve your precision. You adjusted the bow slightly, remembering one of the things he had always told you—aim a little higher than your target, especially at longer distances, because gravity will always pull the arrow down.
"Ready," you whispered.
And then, together, you released. The arrow soared through the air, cutting cleanly through the space between you and the target. And for the first time that day, an arrow struck the bullseye.
We did it!
You blinked in disbelief, your eyes locked on the arrow firmly lodged in the bullseye. Slowly, you turned to your husband, who stood beside you, mouth slightly agape.
"Did you see that?" you gasped, your excitement bubbling over.
Yeosang let out an incredulous laugh, shaking his head. "I must be dreaming. My wife, an archery prodigy?"
Grinning, you nudged him playfully. "Maybe I should take your place as admiral instead."
He clutched his chest dramatically. "Stealing my title already? You truly are ruthless, my love."
Before you could react, he suddenly scooped you up into his arms with ease, making you yelp in surprise. Instinctively, you wrapped your arms around his neck.
"Yeosang! Put me down!" you giggled, squirming in his grasp.
"No can do," he hummed, pressing a kiss to your temple. "You impressed me today, so you deserve a reward. And since you did lie your way out of lessons just to see me…" He trailed off, a mischievous and suggestive glint in his eyes.
Your brows furrowed in suspicion. "Yeo, what are you planning—"
Before you could finish, he started making his way toward the exit. But just as he reached the doorway, he stopped abruptly. Because standing right there, about to step in, was his mother.
You gasped, tightening your hold around your husband's neck as he froze in place. "M-Mother…" he stammered.
Old Madame Kang's gaze flickered over the scene before her—her daughter-in-law, who had earlier complained of agonising menstrual pain, now dressed in a maid's uniform, being cradled in her son's arms. She blinked. You swore you saw her eye twitch.
"I-I can explain," you started, and Yeosang quickly set you down, clearing his throat and smoothing down your ruffled hair and hanbok as if that would somehow make things better.
His mother levelled you both with a withering stare. "Please do."
You gulped, exchanging a nervous glance with him, both of you shrinking under her sharp gaze like children caught red-handed.
"She just missed me, Mother," Yeosang admitted, gripping your hand firmly. "She didn't know how else to say it, so she… snuck out to see me."
A beat of silence passed.
Then, to your utter shock, the elderly woman rolled her eyes. "Is that it?" she huffed, exasperated.
You both blinked. That was… oddly forgiving?
She crossed her arms. "You couldn't have just told me? Why go through the trouble of sneaking out and dressing like a maid just to see your own husband?" Her expression softened, though her tone remained firm. "Do you have any idea how worried I was? I brought you herbs, only to find your quarters empty. I came here to inform my son that you'd vanished, and instead, I find the two of you making fools of yourselves…"
Your eyes darted to Yeosang, who looked just as stunned as you felt. Was this really happening?
"…I swear, you two are impossible," she muttered, shaking her head. Then, as if realising just how ridiculous the situation had become, she pinched the bridge of her nose, suppressing what you swore was a reluctant smile. "So, I take it there was never a real period?" she asked, arching a brow.
You swallowed, nodding slowly, unsure where this was going.
She observed you both for a long moment, her expression unreadable. Then, with a small shake of her head, she finally spoke. "I'll forgive you on one condition." You perked up, hopeful—until she continued, "Give me grandchildren soon."
Your husband choked on air. You stiffened, eyes widening in sheer horror as heat flooded your face.
Meanwhile, your mother-in-law remained entirely unbothered, watching your reactions with the calm of someone who had just commented on the weather. "Well, now that I know you're perfectly healthy, I'll be on my way. See you at your next lesson."
And with that, she turned and strode off, leaving you both rooted in place, still processing the absolute chaos she had just unleashed.
The moment she disappeared down the corridor, you exhaled a breath you hadn't even realised you were holding.
Yeosang cleared his throat, glancing at you with a look that was equal parts mischievous and smug. With exaggerated flair, he lifted your hand to his lips, pressing a playful kiss to your knuckles.
"Well, you heard her loud and clear, my love," he murmured, his voice rich with amusement. "Shall we begin fulfilling our noble duty right away?"
Your eyes widened in mortification. "Kang Yeosang!" you hissed, smacking his arm harder as your face burned. "She can still hear us!"
And sure enough, a quiet chuckle echoed from down the hall.
Your husband only laughed, unfazed, before intertwining his fingers with yours and gently tugging you forward. "It's fine, my love," he teased. "She understands."
Hand in hand, the two of you strolled back to your chambers, his warmth a steady comfort beside you. His lighthearted humming filled the air, and when he stole a fond glance at you, a smile tugged at his lips.
The admiral had never imagined he could feel anything but frustration over a missed shot—but as he reflected on everything that had unfolded, he realised that if losing his aim led to moments like these, perhaps a little imperfection wasn't so bad after all.
No bc I just love how I started this with a vision and somewhere along the way, I didn't know how to end it so I just kinda winged it lmaooo hope this was decent HAHA
As always, thank you for reading and let me know your thoughts! <3

◇ EVEN AFTER EVERYTHING
synopsis: You were the bad girl. He was ever so faithful. What happens when he’s had enough?
snapshot: 99.9% angst, female reader, boyfriend Junkyu, colleague Jaehyuk, infidelity, drunk, one-night stand, is this a happy ending

sky says: Here’s a story I wrote a looooooong time ago that I published on another platform, just to serve as a teaser of my writing prowess (>_<) my actual writing skills may have deteriorated though [I hope not!] Also, obviously I tweaked the original so that the story could fit Treasure… if you enjoy this please feel free to send a request! [here’s why]

◇ The Fight, If It Was Even One
You wipe the counter, missing the sprinkling of crumbs right in front of you. Your eyes are looking straight at it without actually seeing it. It’s the way you usually are these days, ever since the fight. The one that happened right in this very kitchen, if it could even be called a fight.
“Why is he here?” he had asked.
“He was drunk last night and gave my address to the taxi driver. It was nothing,” you had insisted. You had shrugged your shoulders and sipped from your coffee mug.
“It’s not nothing if he spent the night here!” he had hissed at you. How dare he.
“So what if he spent the night? This wouldn’t be the first time...” your voice had trailed off as you realised your blunder. You had bit your lip and glanced at him, wondering how he’d take that in.
He had stood there fuming. The muscles in his right cheek, the side that had been facing you, had twitched from the way he had gritted his teeth.
The person in question had appeared at the kitchen entrance then, only halfway done pulling his own shirt over his head, allowing the two people in the kitchen a glimpse of his well-toned abs.
“Noona, I think I’ll be going now. Thanks for...” he had shot a look at the man still standing motionless near the sink, then smirked to himself and continued mysteriously, “...last night.”
“Wait... aren’t you at least going to finish your coffee?” you had asked.
“That’s okay, I’ve had some. Besides, Junkyu hyung’s here now. I’ll just be in the way.”
“Well, let me just walk you out.”
“Really, it’s fine noona. I can let myself out. See you at work?”
“Oh alright. Yeah, see you.”
Junkyu had waited until he heard the faint sound of the front door click shut before he spoke.
“_______, I can’t do this anymore. Last time I believed you. This time... I don’t know. After what I saw, I just... I don’t know.”
You had looked up then. Am I hearing things? Has he finally grown some balls? Have I really pushed it too far this time? You had cleared your throat and put on your best poker face. “You’ll forgive me. Just like you always do. This time won’t be any different.”
At your words, he had looked resigned. “Are you saying that what I thought happened last night, happened?”
“What do you think?” you had replied, a challenge clear in your voice.
“Then it’s over.” Just like that, he had left.
You waited two weeks for his call: it never came. He didn’t text you to tell you that you were forgiven, like always. He didn’t come by the bar where you worked. In fact, there was no word from him at all. You weren’t worried, not at the time. You knew it would take him time. Another two weeks should do it. You weren’t going to panic and call or look for him. Oh no, you weren’t one to do that. He’d be back soon enough. Meanwhile, there was plenty of other game. You had thought of Jaehyuk then, and felt kind of guilty towards both of them.
◇ The Past, When It All Started
You knew you weren’t pretty, not what people would ordinarily call pretty anyway. Because of that, you made up for it with an aura of confidence that was irresistible to the people around you. You were no stranger to attention. In high school you hadn’t fit in anywhere--partly because you didn’t want to--but you always had a string of boys following you around, worshipping the ground you walked on. Hell, you’d even had a girl ask you out. And although girls really didn’t pique your interest, the way you’re attracted to him might have just proven that wrong. His baby face and full pouty lips. That smooth jawline. Unblemished clear skin. You would’ve thought he was a girl if it weren’t for his school uniform. You did think he was a girl that first time you two met, until he stood up.
“What do you think you’re doing?” you had asked the person you noticed lurking behind the bushes.
“Um... watching you play?” Such a bold answer from someone who’d been trying so hard not to be seen. It had totally taken you by surprise, which wasn’t something easy to do.
“Me, why?” The person had shrunk even lower behind the shrubs at your question. You had waited for an answer but when none came, you had said, “never mind if you’re not going to tell, keep on watching then”. And you had grabbed the ball you came for off the ground and flounced away.
“I like you!”
You had turned around, surprised once again. Twice in as many sentences. He had stood where you could see him, away from the bushes. You had liked what you saw straightaway.
You two had been together ever since.
Four years.
And you had never been faithful.
Maybe it was partly his fault. He kept on being so forgiving. Even when he had found you locking lips with Haruto, the dashing basketball team captain, behind the bleachers in the gym. Even when you had told him you’d be studying at the library, but his best friend Jihoon saw you making out in the art room with some guy. Even when you had broken off your date, countless times over the years, to go out with someone else. Even when he stopped by your workplace, just to keep you company on your breaks from DJing, and you had flirted with the good-looking younger bartender right in front of his eyes.
Always, he would just shrug his shoulders and say that you were just being yourself.
“I love you, because you’re you. You are your own person, and I wouldn’t change that for the world” is what he would say every time you asked if he was angry at you for the things you did.
But that fateful morning he had come to your house to see if you wanted to go get breakfast together, let himself in with the spare key you yourself had given him, found you in the kitchen with that same bartender, who was shirtless and hugging you from the back, had that conversation with you, and something must have snapped in him. For the first time in four years, Junkyu went away.
And stayed away.
The two weeks that you had thought would be enough had turned into two years. You had feared for the worst when he still hadn’t contacted you after two months. Your calls had gone straight to voicemail. You had found out that he resigned from his job. And moved out of his apartment. He had vanished, just like that. Out of your life, without so much as a single word of goodbye.
You had been living with many regrets these past two years. You should have been faithful. You should have treated him better. You should have shown him how much he means to you. You should have explained to him that he’s the only one you love. You should have told him you didn’t mean to hurt him. You were just worried that if you weren’t wanted by other guys, he wouldn’t want you either. You should have realised that you were being stupid, thinking stupid things and behaving even more so.
You should never have cheated on Junkyu. For quite a while you hadn’t intended to. Except when you started work as a DJ at one of the hottest nightclubs around town, things tend to happen. Especially when there’s a private function every other weekend, and leftover booze already paid for by the client gets shared among the staff. When you started working there, you managed to stay relatively sober at first. By the third private party, however, you had woken up the day after in somebody else’s bed. You had been so plastered, you didn’t even remember Jaehyuk taking your home.
◇ The Affair, Unintentional As It Was
Jaehyuk is hot, you had to admit that. And the youngster was really good at his job, which meant he could do those fancy things bartenders do just to show off, like flipping glasses in the air and juggling bottles, all while flirting with customers and fixing their drinks. Which meant he was a performer while being a bartender, and that only added to his hotness factor. He was also very much into you, which he had made clear from the first day you came to work. And although you had been very flattered at getting the attention of a younger man, you hadn’t meant to take things any further, even after you two had slept together.
And then it had happened again.
You hadn’t even been drunk. You had actually been stressing in your head for one whole day over what to get Junkyu for your upcoming anniversary and then, at work, some drunk had jumped up onto your DJ platform and managed to grope you before club security got to him. You had been shaken up by the incident and Jaehyuk had been so nice, giving you a drink to calm your nerves and offering to send you home after work. The two of you had talked during the drive and he had given you some good suggestions for Junkyu’s gift. When you arrived at your apartment, you had been the one to invite him up for a drink.
That time too, Junkyu had come to your house in the morning. He had seen Jaehyuk leaving and asked you about it, and you had lied. Although he looked at you somewhat suspiciously, he had believed you. You didn’t think much about it, until he had opened his mouth later when you were having breakfast together.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if you have something going on with that boy. I swear, those abs can really turn someone’s head.”
Amazed that he had even noticed, you had asked, “and exactly when and where would you have seen his abs?”
“Remember when your nightclub had that new year staff party and I came early with you to help? I happened to come out of the bathroom stall when he was changing his t-shirt.”
You had jokingly asked whether you should start getting worried about losing him to a guy and the two of you had laughed over that. But he had got you worried.
You had worried about being caught cheating on Junkyu with Jaehyuk. That you would get caught was inevitable: you always got caught. But the things you had done had always been one-time stuff. With people you had just met, or people you barely knew or had once known. You had never before been involved with a colleague, or a friend. And Jaehyuk was both. And you had worried whether that would be too much for Junkyu when he finally found out.
You quit your DJ job not long after he left. You couldn’t look at Jaehyuk and not be reminded that Junkyu was gone. Jaehyuk tried to make you stay, to forget Junkyu and be with him, but you stood by the decision you had made about your relationship that same day Junkyu last stood in your kitchen.
Late the night before, you had opened your door to the sound of the doorbell and an older man had stood there, struggling under Jaehyuk’s weight. You had taken Jaehyuk off the taxi ahjusshi, thanked him and put the tipsy Jaehyuk to bed. Of course you had ended up sleeping together yet again. But you had woken up very early in the morning, with an uneasy sense of foreboding. You couldn’t shake it off to go back to sleep, so you had gone into the kitchen to make coffee and breakfast.
You had sensed somebody watching you while you were pan-frying the second omelette. A shirtless Jaehyuk had been leaning against the kitchen counter watching you cook, all the while smiling that sweet smile of his. You had poured him a cup of coffee, and set down the omelette. In your head, you had been pondering how to broach the subject. When Jaehyuk had finished with his food and pushed his plate away to finish his coffee, you knew you couldn’t stall the matter any longer.
“Jaehyuk, I think we shouldn’t do this anymore.”
He had looked up from his cup, dismay all over his adorable face. “What are you talking about, noona?”
“I know you like me, but I don’t feel the same for you.”
“But noona...”
You had grabbed his plate and taken it to the sink. Standing there busying yourself with the washing, you had pondered your words carefully to try to be gentle. “I really hope you won’t make this difficult, Jaehyuk. We can still talk at work as usual. There’s just some things you have to stop doing. Like, you can’t just crash here whenever you feel like it. Like last night. And stop showing up at my door just because you’re ‘in the neighbourhood’. You don’t even live near here. You need to stop doing these things.”
You had flinched a little when you felt Jaehyuk’s arms snake around your waist. He had rested his cheek on your shoulder and whispered, “but noona, I don’t just like you. I love you.”
You had been struck speechless with the thought of causing him agony for that, but the feeling was fleeting. The moment to be gentle had passed. “That’s really too bad Jaehyuk, ‘cause I’ve never been serious with you.”
Jaehyuk had stiffened at your words. “No, noona, that can’t be. You feel something for me, I know you do.”
“Don’t kid yourself,” you scoffed. He had grabbed your shoulders and turned you around then, so that he could look you in the eyes, and that had been when you noticed the other person in the kitchen.
“________.” You become conscious that you’re staring into empty space. It’s almost as if you had really heard his voice. You look at the counter you have been absently wiping and see a few droplets of water among the crumbs. You raise one hand to your cheek: you don’t even realise you have been crying. You look back at the spot where Junkyu had stood two years ago, and more tears run down your cheeks. For two years you have held them away; two years of telling yourself he will be back, he always comes back. Two years of pretending nothing has gone wrong while your heart ached, burning with the emptiness of missing him. Two years of knowing you brought this on yourself and there’s no one else to blame. You couldn’t do this anymore. Just like two years ago, when Junkyu couldn’t deal with you anymore. You break down on the kitchen floor, sobbing uncontrollably, the crumbs on the counter forgotten.
◇ The Lesson, Learnt The Hard Way
Junkyu knows he had gone away for a long time. He couldn’t help but wonder: have you changed? Would you still remember him? Absence may make the heart grow fonder, but being out of sight might also result in being forgotten. He had been trying so hard to stay away, but it had been difficult, and the difficulty had not lessened with each day that passed.
Right now, he is home. It’s true he had ended things, or put them on hold the way he saw it, but deep down in his heart nothing has really changed. You still own his heart, completely and utterly. There’s nothing in the world that can destroy that, not even all your infidelities, and no amount of time will ever erase that fact. He stands in front of your apartment, the first time in two years, and hopes that the scene inside will not be like the last time. He reaches for the spare key in his pocket--he hadn’t returned it when he went away--and inserts the key in the lock.
You are sitting on the floor in the kitchen. Your eyes are dry now, you are silent. Your breathing is no longer wracked with sobs. You feel tired, like you haven’t slept in days. You grab at the kitchen stool near you to pull yourself up to stand, and that’s when you notice the other person in the kitchen.
You look at the man who is standing in the exact spot where Junkyu had stood two years ago. He seems so real. You’re not going to convince yourself he is, though, not this time. Just your imagination gone wild, you’re used to that now. But you do notice that he doesn’t look the same as how you always remember him. He looks… older somehow. He also looks lonely, well that hasn’t changed. He looks sad, that hasn’t changed either. No, despite these little differences you know he’s just a figment of your mind, brought up by your aching need to see him. You shake your head to vanquish the thought, and go to the sink to wash the rag you have been using to wipe the counter.
“_______.”
The voice startles you, you almost drop the rag. It’s almost as if you had really heard it. You continue to rinse the cloth. A part of you is telling you that the voice is real, but you couldn’t bring yourself to believe it. You have waited to hear that voice for two years. You’ve heard it so often in your mind, and you have always been disappointed. No, you tell yourself. No, it’s not real.
You flinch a little when you feel arms snake around your waist. A warm body against your back.
“_______, I’m home.” Warm breath against your neck.
You drop the rag this time. You twist around to face him, still in his arms. That baby face and smooth jawline. Unblemished clear skin. The thick dark hair you love so much. You reach up to touch his face. Warm skin under your hand. He smiles, pulls your hand to his lips and kisses your palm. You have voided your eyes of tears just a short while ago, yet they flow freely again in the joy of this moment.
You throw your arms around Junkyu’s neck and cries for the second time that day. He has come home.
Junkyu hugs you tightly and kisses your hair. His hand rubs soothing circles on your back. He is home.
All is forgiven once again.

♡ CUDDLES AND TEA — BANG YEDAM
yedam x gn!reader | wc : 0.8k words | content : possible grammar and spelling mistakes, lowercase intended, established relationship au, pretty wordy, fluffy feelings, rainy day cuddles !! | request : hey could a request a bang yedam fluffy scenario. maybe something about cuddles and tea. please love your writing 💜
“rain, rain … go away … come again another day.”
you sang to yourself, sitting near your window, having it slightly opened as you enjoyed the droplets of rain falling.
rain fell like the sky’s music; each drop was a note that didn’t sound great when heard on its own, but together along with the rest of the droplets, they created a song that put a smile on your face.
admiring the rain came to a stop when you heard rapid knocks on your door, pulling you out of your daze. you thought little, walking to the door and opening it, surprised to see your boyfriend standing in front of you, completely drenched from the rain and out of breath.
“yedam!” you marveled, awakening the ‘parent-mode’ in you as you quickly dragged him inside, not even giving him time to explain as you ran around. “what were you thinking? actually, don’t answer, just quickly change out of that.” your lips were pursed into a pout as you handed him clothes he had left from the last time he visited.
the male simply nodded, his usual bright smile on his face as he rushed inside the bathroom, changing out of his rain-soaked clothes. you waited in the living room, eyeing the bag he had brought with him, wondering what your boyfriend was doing out in the rain.
“all done!” yedam exclaimed as he walked out of the bathroom, wearing the dry clothes you had given him. “you look like a cute angry bird, y/n. stop pouting so much,” he stated, causing you to roll your eyes.
“come here.” you gestured, pulling your boyfriend to sit with you as you took the towel beside you, helping to dry his hair. “i’m the only cute angry bird who’s gonna be concerned about you, so deal with it,” you grumbled under your breath, getting a chuckle out of yedam.
he pulled away from you, quickly reaching out for the bag he kept on the table before sitting next to you. “i remembered you like to eat ice-cream when it rains, and i was out anyway, so i got you some,” he explained, putting a smile on your face as he spoke. “which one are you taking?”
“i’m not eating them now. not after you’ve been in the rain.” you shook your head. “i appreciate what you did, but right now, the options are coffee and tea. what’s your pick?”
“mm … tea?”
“that’s good because i don’t have coffee.”
the two of you burst into laughter as you walked to the kitchen, preparing the tea as you usually did. yedam followed you as you did the work, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind, waddling along whenever you moved.
after making the tea, you took your cup, sitting on the sofa as yedam mimicked your movements. you sat in silence, lost in your own world as you listened to pitter-patter of the raindrops, feeling at ease as you did.
yedam observed you from the side, a smile of adoration on his face. the way you seemed to disconnect from reality yet connect with it was something he noticed, not getting enough, no matter how long he stared.
if the rain was music to you, then the picture of you listening to the rain was art to yedam. it wouldn’t make sense to you if you have never been in love, and maybe before this moment, it wouldn’t have made sense to yedam either.
it had happened. bang yedam had fallen in love. and you didn’t know, because you were doing the bare minimum and he had the comet of realization crash on him.
you turned towards your boyfriend, oblivious to the thoughts that were running in his head. “i still can’t believe you ran in the rain because you remembered i liked having ice-cream when it rains.” you giggled to yourself, grinning when yedam extended his arms, inviting you into his embrace. “i didn’t think it would mean much.”
the two of you cuddled on the sofa, partially enjoying the silence while the other half wondered how you two perfectly fit into the small space comfortably. not much was thought when you didn’t get an answer, because, to be frank, you didn’t really ask a question. a few more moments were spent in silence before yedam spoke up, finally pulled out of his thoughts to share them.
“they mean something. they carry value.”
“hm? what are you talking about, yedamie?”
“your words,” he answered, as if it was an obvious answer. “you are valuable to me, therefore, your words carry value too. i try to remember whatever you say because i know you do the same for me. all these little things mean a lot because they make who you are, and i want to remember them.”
you bit your lip at his sudden confession, trying to wrap your head around his words. “you are a valuable person in my life, bang yedam.” you shifted in your position, turning to meet his gaze as your hands touched his face. “but am i really worthy of such a position in your life too?”
“you are, y/n, because right now, in this moment, you mean the most to me.”

Back Hugs ║ Treasure (Middle Line)
[reaction to you giving them a back hug.]
Takata Mashiho
~When you usually back hug him, and rest your chin on his shoulder your head would fit right next to his neck. It almost feels like you complete him, just like a puzzle piece. This feeling would make him overwhelmed, like he just loves it. Back hugs are his favorite couple thing :((
Hamada Asahi
~Asahi is not the one to initiate skinship, like NO. He's just too shy for it. When you back hug him, his cheeks would turn pinkkk. He smiles to himself like crazy and continues doing whatever he was working on. When you let him go, he'd ask you to continue hugging him because you're so warm omg protect
Yoon Jaehyuk
~Look this boy is affection in human form. He will turn around and coo at you like there's no tomorrow. He just finds it SO adorable he'll hug you and just wouldn't want to let go. His heart would swell because any kind of skinship from you would remind him that you loved him and that's his strength.
Bang Yedam
~He'd have the calmest reaction out of all. He was doing the dishes and you back hugged him all of a sudden. He would smile and hum, asking you about various things and have a normal-everyday conversation with you because talking to you itself makes him happy.

Playlist (Asahi)

Genre: Fluff
AU: Idol!au
Warnings: none
Summary: Asahi gives his hoodie for Y/n to borrow because she felt cold at the studio, but forgets to ask for it back after taking Y/n home. When Y/n gets home, she realizes that she still has Asahi's hoodie and finds his ipod. Out of curiosity Y/n looks through to see some unreleased tracks, and a playlist with her name on it.
It was the first week of November, meaning fall was slowly transitioning into winter. The weather only getting colder and colder. Y/n and Asahi were tucked into the warmth of the YG building, nestled away in his studio.
"Asahi? How much longer are you going to be?" Y/n said as she approached her boyfriend. Asahi turned and smiled sheepishly, almost forgetting why Y/n was even there.
"I can take a break right now if you'd like. I'm just working on a song and I'm almost done. Sorry if I couldn't spend much time with you sweetheart" Asahi then stood up and held Y/n in his arms.
If the other members bore witness this, he would be embarrassed, but for Y/n, he's always had a soft spot ever since he fell in love with her.
"Don't overwork yourself Sahi! You have so much talent and I don't want you to let it get in the way of your health" she said worriedly, but of course, he smiled at her again. Y/n truly was endearing and perfect in his eyes.
"Of course, I'm taking care of myself well my love, you don't need to worry about me ok? I just want you to take care of yourself because you always think about me" Asahi replied, then he noticed her shiver a bit.
"Is the ac too cold? Here wear my hoodie" he handed Y/n his hoodie and sat back down at his desk, just going over the song and polishing it.
After Y/n had put on his hoodie, Asahi turned and saw the hoodie swallowing her, which made him chuckle. "Thanks, it feels much better now" she then sat cross legged on the couch in the studio, using her phone to occupy herself.
"Tell me if you need anything ok? I won't be much longer so I can take you home" Y/n nodded at Asahi and gave him a thumbs up, giving him the assurance he needed.
"What did I ever do to deserve you?” Asahi whispered to himself and continued working on the last parts of the song.
An hour later, Y/n had already fallen asleep as Asahi stretched, fixing his desk and getting ready to go back to the dorms. Then he turned and noticed Y/n curled up on the couch, but it wasn't the most comfortable thing to really sleep on so he immediately woke her up gently.
"Y/n baby, wake up. I'll take you home now" he whispered and gave her a small kiss on the cheek. Y/n had stirred a bit and woke up, rubbing her eye gently.
"Your back must be hurting, you should sleep well when you get home. Come on" Asahi said as they started to leave the studio.
Outside, it was even colder and Asahi had called his manager to take them home. "Hyung we'll take Y/n home first, it's a bit late" Asahi said, and his manager nodded as they left.
In the car, Y/n had been beside Asahi and held his hand, playing with his fingers in boredom. "You're adorable you know that?" he smiled at her endearingly.
"I'm not usually like this so consider yourself really lucky" Y/n joked and he chuckled at her for the nth time that night.
Arriving at Y/n's building, Asahi had brought Y/n up to her apartment and bid her goodnight, telling her that he'll call her once he gets back to the dorms.
"Take care. Let's go on a date next week ok? So I can make up for today" he smiled and Y/n nodded as they shared a short, but sweet kiss. "You take care too Asahi, stay safe" Asahi nodded and left Y/n, looking back one last time and waving at her.
Y/n then closed the door and sighed, suddenly hit with a waft of Asahi's cologne. She almost forgot she was hearing his hoodie, but then figured she'd just give it once they see each other again.
"Oh what's this?" Y/n found a small ipod in the pocket, it must've been Asahi's spare ipod for all his songs. She immediately looked through the ipod before sitting on the couch. Finding tracks like orange, the three minute treasure logo song and everyday, the fan's song. Continuing her search, she had suddenly found a playlist under her name?
Y/n opened it and saw some songs that Asahi had put in it. It was full of her favorite songs and songs that Asahi has always told her that reminded him of her.
"This is so cute" Y/n muttered to herself, she didn't want to tell him just yet, but having the iPod comforted her in a way, and she'll probably fall asleep listening to the heartwarming playlist made by her boyfriend.

Teume Cafe Part 2: I think I like you a latte

masterlist !
written by milky :]
_♡_
That night, you decide it’s time to stay up, stay awake, and grind it out for finals. The mocha you had was still keeping you awake (was it the mocha or was it Mashiho and the Teume cafe?) so you took that as a sign to get to work.
You have everything laid out. Your book, your notes, your pens, your laptop. You even have a random episode of Racket Boys playing--hearing the soundtrack and the characters’ voices is somehow your white noise for studying.
So you’re ready! You’re all set!! So… why isn’t it working? You stare at the words on your notes and your vision blurs, your mouth hangs open and your mind goes right back to the Teume cafe. Mashiho and his gorgeous hair...no! You have to study. But, you’re so curious. You want to meet Haruto to judge for yourself if he deserves the Cafe Prince award. And who was Yedam, hiding in the shadows?
This wasn’t going to work.
You get up, pack your things and head to the Teume Cafe. Heck, if you were going to spend your precious study time thinking about the café, then might as well just head there. You check their hours online first, and seeing they’re open late, you sigh in relief before continuing on your journey.
When you get there, you’re suddenly nervous. You can see inside--someone else is at the counter instead of Mashiho, but his silhouette looks familiar. Yedam?
Your curiosity overtakes your nervousness and you storm inside.
“Welcome to Teume Cafe--oh! Weren’t you here earlier today?” Yedam asks.
Gosh, the way he grins at you, the way his soft locks are falling into his eyes has you feeling dizzy. Why is every worker here so damn pretty?
“I was… and you must be Yedam,” you say, somewhat shyly.
Yedam’s cheeks are dusted pink as he replies, “either you saw me this morning, too, or you’re just reading my name tag.”
“Name tag? Oh, I didn’t even see it!”
Yedam laughs, leaning against the counter.
“So, what can I get for you? Another mocha?”
Your heart races. He remembered your order?! Even while he was sat in the corner when you came in?
“A-actually.. I think I’m down to try something else,” you say, “something that pairs well with the strawberry creme scone.”
“I’d suggest a nutella latte! It’ll be like having nutella and strawberries,” Yedam explains.
You nod, “I’ll try it!”
Yedam punches in the order and fetches the scone for you, neatly placing it on a plate.
“Just be careful with how much coffee you have in a day,” he says sweetly, pushing the scone towards you.
“Are you seriously concerned about me right now?” you ask in disbelief.
Yedam shrugs.
“As much as you want to come see us, one cup of coffee a day should be the max. If you come more than once, get a tea or smoothie the second time!”
“You’re the one who suggested the nutella latte,” you say, playfully squinting at the boy who hasn’t stopped smiling at you.
“You’re the one who asked for suggestions to pair with the scone… and you didn’t have to get a latte!” Yedam points out, tilting his head to one side.
You shake your head at the boy and go take a seat, pulling out your notes.
“If you’re here to study, I’ll be your DJ for the night!” Yedam calls from behind the counter as he makes your drink.
Suddenly, the music changes to something calmer, something easy to study to. You’re so focused on your notes that you don’t hear Yedam calling out to you with your order. He brings it to you and you stare at the latte art--is it a heart or are you hallucinating?
“Good luck!” he tells you with a smile.
As you study, Yedam cleans up and shuts off the machines, but not once does he tell you to leave because they’re closing. Even when an hour has passed since they’re closing time, he sits there, headphones on and stealing glances at you every now and then. He only approaches you to wake you up once you’ve fallen asleep, telling you to go home.
He only closes the Teume cafe after he sees you’ve safely left.

♡ BONITA-NITA, 네가 — BANG YEDAM
yedam x noona!reader | wc : 0.7k words | content : possible grammar and spelling mistakes, lowercase intended, platonic relationship au, kinda romantic towards the end (?), depends on how you perceive it, fluffity fluffy fluff !! | request : do you make completely platonic content? can you write something fun for yedam with their new song darari?
“where are you? come out and show yourself.”
you mumbled, rummaging through your room as you tried to find your bluetooth speaker.
“aha! there you are!” you cheered, finding the speaker before plopping down on your bed, making yourself comfortable. “now we shall listen to yedamie’s group’s new songs.” you searched the word treasure, selecting a video with the entire album since it was convenient for you.
laying on your bed as the first song played, you bopped your head along with the music, brows furrowed as you enjoyed it. yedam’s grown so much. you thought, finding no trace of the high-pitched male that used to whine whenever you didn’t comply with his wishes.
bang yedam was the little boy who lived across from you, always troubling you in doing everything with him. since you were a few years older than him, you were kinda like a mother-noona figure, complying with whatever he wanted.
noona, can you play with me? noona, let’s watch a movie! noona, i’m hungry! noona, wanna sing with me? whatever it was, you were always ever-ready to spend time with your dearest yedam.
years passed, and you went your separate ways, with yedam debuting as an idol while you were visiting different countries with the exchange programs your university provided. another track from the album played as you reminisced about the old days, a smile coming on your face as you recognised yedam’s voice.
bonita-nita, 네가.
you furrowed your brows, wondering if you heard the word correctly before replaying it, breaking into a fit of giggles as you listened to the part. bonita. the simple word took you a trip down memory lane, the realisation only settling in now.
“when the song comes out, tell me what you think of it, okay, noona?” yedam looked at you through the screen, holding out his pinky finger. “it’s called darari, and i actually used a word you taught me in it!”
“come on, you know i’m gonna listen to it no matter what! my yedamie is releasing a song!” you cooed, mimicking his gesture, pretending to link pinkies and seal the promise. “i’m kinda curious, though. what word is it?” you couldn’t help but wonder, tilting your head to the side as you looked at him.
“you’ll just have to listen to the song and find out, noona.”
you were laughing to yourself, pausing the song as you went to your contacts, immediately video-calling your best friend.
bonita; a word you had learnt during your exchange program in brazil.
much to your surprise, your call was answered within the first few rings, a fluffy-haired yedam coming into view as he tried to fix his appearance.
“did i catch you at a bad time?”
“perfect timing, actually. i just got a break.” he laughed. “besides, i’d always make time for you, noona. what’s up?” a smile came on your face as you heard him laugh, relieved he was enjoying what he was doing.
“i was listening to your album. and then darari came on,” you confessed, already expecting his wide-eyed reaction. “you know, when i taught you the word ‘bonita’, i never expected you to use it like this.” you rested your back on your bed, watching as yedam made himself comfortable on the practice room’s floor.
“it’s the line i’m proudest of from the entire song!”
“well, i actually taught you the word, so it’ll help you hit up some girls.” you sighed, amused by the way his cheeks burned red. “but you wrote it as a song lyric. what am i going to do with you, yedamie?”
the male waved his hand, moving out of the camera’s sight. “ay, noona. don’t say things like that.” he clicked his tongue, shaking his head. “i don’t want to hit up any girls.” his tone was genuine, adoringly smiling when you laughed at his words.
“more like you can't hit up any,” you corrected, smiling victoriously when he avoided your eye-contact. “after all, it’s not like you leave that studio of yours. ah, how am i going to get my boy married? he can barely make eye-contact with a girl,” you continued, enjoying the way yedam was left flabbergasted by your words.
if anyone saw the way yedam looked at you through the screen, they would’ve known exactly how much he adored you. his eyes were practically hearts at this point, and you raised your brows in question as he looked at you, wondering why he was smiling to himself — as if it was an inside joke.
“why would i need to hit up anyone when i have you, noona?”
