----------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay so massive MASSIVE credit to @bamboorocket (again) for writing the above line from a Waka/Mei Discord drabble she kindly eviscerated me with hehe. So of course I had to do a thing, in a similar style to my 'tormented prophet Waka' thing because ✨THE VIBE ✨ and once again thank you SO MUCH Bamboo

#don't blame me #bamboo just casually writes the rawest lines imaginable and just absolutely WRECKS ME out of the blue #I swear Bamboo when I heccin GET YOU #anyways a little breakdown of the symbolism #the flowers in the top in each corner are lavender (since Mei's colour scheme is purple and of course for the calming effect she has on Wak #and the heart she's holding- which is basically a visual representation of Waka's heart- has kintsugi cracks #a little reference to another waka/mei thing I wrote #also the metaphor/visual symbolism of kintsugi symbolising a broken heart #for she took the cracks in his own heart and sealed them with gold #and the latin text translates to 'how such small hands hold a heart so heavy'#i used google translate because I don't speak latin hehe #anyways on to the tags #okami #okami oc #mei (okami oc)#waka/mei #okami fanart #my artwork
