Things that bother me about Nimona (I love the movie)

- Nimona is the only shapeshifter. If there were more like her, the argument that they are considered monsters would carry more weight. It would also give an explanation why people are still locked in the wall after a thousand years.

- That Ballister is not even a bit nervous because the director did not hesitate for 2 seconds to stab Nimona-as-Ambrosius, Ballister knew it was not Ambrosius, but it could have been him.

- If the director sought power, she would be a better villain.

- Ballister did not show the full video of the director's confession, even though it would have taken 20 minutes of the film.

(my sister is watching it!) and I???? there are so many things I feel sensible about LIKE- LIKE- LIKE-- Amb calling Ballister "Bali"??? Sure Bal is great and all but the way he says Bali is just too cute for me!!! I cried about it the whole movie

Also THEIR TRANSLATED NAMES??? they're absolutely ridiculous 😭😭🤌 BALLISTER VALENTONI??? WHAT IN THE NAME OF GLORETH😭 and Ambrosius doesn't get better— AMBROSIO PIELDORADA ??? I mean not like Amb's ain't CANONICALLY weird but they sound so funny to me in Spanish lol at least with Goldenloin I can pretend it's not that bad -second language momento- BUT PIELDORADA IT'S JUST SO TERRIBLE BYE—

Also I noticed when they meet for nachos Amb has this tiny little smirk in his face and it makes me so happy<3

The way they call Ballister "plebeyo" through the first 2 minutes???? Got me spitting my organs and through the whole scene after "will the Kingdom accept this Knight who might not be right?" thingy, there's a point when Amb calls Ballister "HEY AMIGO—" (buddy/friend) i— i was definitely wheezing and rolling, breathless lol like ok yeah they're friends but they're in private & he definitely would be calling him pet names given the chance

AND AND AND BAL IS VOICED MY ADAM SANDLER'S SPANISH DUBBER I'M CRYING

En fin, there are plenty of things but those are some that will stay in my mind on loop lol

Cuando culpan a Ballister Valentoni, un caballero en un mundo medieval futurista, de un crimen que no cometió, la única que puede ayudarlo a demostrar su inocencia es Nimona, una adolescente metamorfa a quien le gusta el caos y que resulta ser la misma criatura a quien él debe matar.

Pero con todo el reino buscándolo, Nimona es la mejor aliada, o prácticamente la única, que Ballister podría esperar. Y a medida que la diferencia entre héroes, villanos y monstruos se difumina, ambos se preparan para causar un gran desastre. Ballister, para limpiar su nombre de una vez por todas, y Nimona, bueno, solo por sembrar el caos.

Estreno: 30 de junio de 2023 en Netflix.

Basada en la novela gráfica de ND Stevenson, la película está dirigida Nick Bruno y Troy Quane, y en su versión original cuenta con las voces de Chloë Grace Moretz, Riz Ahmed, Eugene Lee Yang, Frances Conroy, Lorraine Toussaint, Beck Bennett, Indya Moore, entre otros.

Nai and Vash are siblings so Ambrosius and Gloreth will be siblings despite the 1000 year difference in the movie☺️.

I’m yet to decide who Nimona would be but I’ve got two characters in mind, either Livio to play in with Ballister’s side or Meryl Stryfe.

Cosas que me molestan de Nimona (amo la pelicula)

- Que Ballister no mostró el video por completo el video de confesión de la directora, aunque eso le habría quitado 20 minutos de la película.

- Nimona es la única cambiaformas. Si hubiera más como ella, el argumento de que sea considerada un monstruo tendría más sentido. También daría una explicación de por qué la gente sigue encerrada en el muro después de mil años.

- Que Ballister no esta ni un poco nervioso porque el director no dudo ni 2 segundos en apuñalar a Nimona-como-Ambrosius, Ballister sabia que no era Ambrosius, pero pudo haber sido el.

- Si la directora buscara el poder, sería mejor villana.

Incoherencia extra porque si te gusta algo debes criticarlo.

Cuando Nimona se transforma en Ballister, se puede ver un mechón de cabello color rosa distintivo de Nimona, pero cuando se transforma en Ambrosius, lo imita físicamente igual
