some neighbors somewhere are screaming and fighting at the top of their lungs so loud you can hear it through the concrete beneath (its not even 10 am yet)

it smells like onions and beans and whatnot outaide because someone is cooking

there is ambulance and police sirens going on outside. all the time

the entire bloc hasnt had hot water or heating for the last week at all. it is winter

and last night street cats were yawling and screaming and fighting for hours

So listen. My friend had an exam at 8. I went to see her at 9:30 so we can gossip together bc we hadn't seen eo all summer. We had cocktails at 10 (i had a tequila sunrise, so, yknow, it's not like i had just tequila...). We then went back to mine and had coffee. Many such cases.
