SPEND THE AFTERNOON meandering down through a glacier waterfall until you finally arrive at the bottom where the water merges into a lake! Admire the gigantic rocks that have been smoothed & shaped by the harsh conditions. The Athabasca Falls is a very busy tourist location during the summers, although the winters are just as pretty too! TAKE THE SCENIC HIKE through this beautiful landmark that is open during both the summer & winter months. If you do get the opportunity to travel to Jasper in the winter, do make time to see the ice caves & frozen waterfalls! No matter which time of the year you choose, there are great sites to see here. “Maligne Canyon is the deepest canyon in the park, dropping to a depth of more than 50 metres at some points” (banffjaspercollection).
