They wanted baby!dragon Kirishima clumsily getting used to breathing fire/flying and driving Bakugou absolutely insane… and since they mentioned both fantasy and college AUs as their favs, I decided to combine them in a modern setting where dragon shifters exist but are discriminated against. Since he isn’t technically allowed to go to school with regular humans, Bakugou decided to pretend that Kiri was his hearing animal so he could attend school with him.

kiribaku- valentine’s day

a week before valentine’s day kiri brought baku his favorite sweets (spicy chocolates) and wrote a small love letter asking bakugou to be his valentine.

baku blushed really hard when he read the letter but then tucked it into his phonecase.

even though kiri asked bakugou wanted to be the one to plan the date.

he wanted it to be a surprise for kiri since bakugou doesn’t think he’s that good at planning dates.

bakugou took kirishima to a hike a path that leads up to overlook the city. the entire hike up bakugou was nervous bc he was afraid it wasn’t enough

he made and packed dinner and desserts for a picnic. he chose a later time so they could watch the sunset and see the view of city nightlife.

kirishima kept tearing up. first at the hike bc he loved when bakugou wanted kirishima to join him on things he loves. then when he saw the picnic and how much effort bakugou put into the dishes. and then when he realized bakugou’s intentions where to watch the sunset together.

kirishima wouldn’t stop kissing bakugou during the evening.

when they got back to the dorms kirishima gave bakugou a gift. it was a mini photo album filled with photos of them since they started dating. bakugou actually cried.

kirishima shyly asked bakugou to spend the night in his dorm. bakugou didn’t say that he was going to ask kiri the same.

they spent the night curled up together in kiri’s bed listening to bakugou’s “chill out” playlist and exchanging stories. they fell asleep like this.

“PRO HERO GROUND ZERO AND RED RIOT SHARE A DINNER MADE FOR TWO LIFELONG FRIENDS!”

Bakugou slammed the paper down on the table, wanting to burn it in his hands but also wanting Eijirou to see it before he did.

“EIJI!!” He crumpled up the paper in his a bit as he yelled.

“WHAT?!” Kirishima was in the other room, most likely brushing his hair (not that Bakugou secretly enjoyed watching count to one hundred as he brushed. No, fucking crazy that you would think that!”)

“COME LOOK AT THIS!” Bakugou leaned back in the chair and in no time, he heard the padding of his husbands feet against the carpet as he made his way towards the table.

He plopped the paper down in front of Kirishima as he sat down, brush in hand as he expected. He let his eye scan over the paper, lips moving as he read. (Katsuki speaking, my dumbass husband can’t see shit out of his right eye, couldn’t for as long as I can remember. That’s why it says eye instead of eyes. Alright, back to the story, assclowns.)

“I may be half blind but even I can see this is bullshit!” Kirishima looked just as frustrated as him, nose wiggling a bit. (Katsuki (again), my husband has this thing where his nose wiggles whenever he’s mad. Lot fucking easier on me since I can tell when he’s angry instead of guessing.)

“What do you expect from a bunch of extras that can’t tell their ass from a hole in the ground?” It’s not like Kirishima and him were hiding their relationship once they gotten out into the real world.

It just got really fucking exhausting when the news would say fuckery like “blah blah friendly kiss” or “ bromance filled hug” or some dumb shit like that.

“I expected nothing less. Remember what they did to Mic, Aizawa, and Cloud-Sensei?” Kirishima shook his head, Bakugou remembering all too well.

(Long story short, Mic mentioned that he was married to a mystery person, the media assumed it was a woman. When the news saw him kissing Aizawa (his husband of 10 years) they were all over it. But once he was seen kissing Shirakumo (also his husband of ten years), Mic was labeled as a cheating asshole for quite a bit of time. It took at least three months to clear his name.)

“Well it’s not like we have a third person living here. Unless you count, Princess Explosion Murder.” Said fluffy, chubby, orange cat jumped into Kirishima’s lap, startling him a bit before he combed scarred hands softly through her fur.

“Yeah but I’m not hitched to a cat, I’m hitched to you. And I’m sick and tired of those stupid assholes not getting that not only are we gay as shit, but also married.” He lifted up the engraved ring necklace he had on his neck for emphasis.

(For those wondering, Kirishima’s says “to my personal sunshine” and Baku says “to my explosion king”)

Kirishima’s face got thoughtful for a second before smiling mischievously, Bakugo already liking where this was going.

“Well, lets show them what Eijirou and Katsuki Bakugou-Kirishima are made of.” He smiled happily but Bakugou could see the devilish look in his eye, giving a different meaning to those horns on his head.

Boy, did he love his husband.

After a particularly mild battle, Kirishima stretched his arms high above his head, not feeling satisfied until he felt something pop.

His hair luckily stayed in the high bun he put it in, not wanting it to accidentally get burned when his husband used his explosions.

His husband in question was down below him, he himself was currently on the roof, ready to put his plan into action.

“Baby, are you ready?” Kirishima talked into the small radio embedded in the fabric of his sleeves.

“Born ready. Those stupid bastards are already making their way over here.” Kirishima looked from to his left, seeing the crowd of paparazzi making their way over to the scene, one seemed to have a video camera rolling.

“Alright, get into position! You gotta be ready to catch me.”

“How how hard can this be? I’ve been carrying your hero career on my back too.”

“Hey!”

Kirishima frowned as he heard Bakugou snicker into the microphone but also found himself suppressing a laugh.

As soon as they were close enough, Kirishima “fell” off the roof. (The roof is just a small corner store, it’s not too high up at all.) The camera ran closer to catch the whole thing, audio recorder quickly turning on her microphone to record.

Bakugou caught the man in his arms, making sure to bend his knees as he did.

“I’m so clumsy! Thank you for saving me, fellow hero!” Kirishima played up the emotion, looking adoringly at the man holding him (not that he didn’t all the time).

“You’re welcome.” His voice was gruff as usual, but not folding under pressure in front of the camera.

“I will take off your mask, so I may know the identity of who saved me!” Kirishima slid Bakugou’s mask off his eyes, his eyes widening comically as he pretended to be surprised.

“Well, I never would’ve guessed that my wonderful, smart, strong, and angry husband, Katsuki Bakugou-Kirishima, would be the one to save me from such a fall!” They both had to hold in their laughter, the effort they had to go through to let people know they were married was outrageous.

“I shall lay a kiss on his lips as a thank you!” He captured Bakugou’s lips, pulling him into a searing kiss (with lots of tongue for effect), wrapping his arms around his neck to pull him in closer.

This media gasped, all clamoring around each other to try and get the perfect picture of this scene.
