Okay I had Thoughts yesterday because I was reading fics and like

How is bakumei such a small ship???

The pure chaos energy alone - people should eat it up lol but also

Bakugou?? Literally designed his gauntlets?? He'd absolutely 100% feed Hatsume's wild ideas and help dial in her inventions at a terrifying rate

Okay, so, I just want to say that I love Bakugou Katsuki sooo fcking much💜💜💜

He's mY FERAL LITTLE GREMLIN. And I literally ships him with everyone possible, expect Deku. I don't know why, I can see/read them as friend, best friend, frenemies, enemy and many more😍. But, I can't see them in a romantic/sexual relationship. That's just disgust me straightway🤢. I even ship Katsuki with Monoma, ffs😭.

Katsuki Bakugo x Mei Hatsume (BakuMei) Headcanons

Since a lot of anime ships seem to have these head canons, I decided to make one for my crackship of Katsuki Bakugo and Mei Hatsume.  1. Bakugo likes to play with Hatsume's hair, like twirl it around his finger. Mei generally doesn't mind unless Bakugo is doing it after he just wrapped up with training, and he's all sweaty.  2. Mei often comes to important events for Bakugo, and cheers him on loudly much to his embarrassment. Bakugo comes to Hatsume's conventions, but is a lot more lowkey in his support.  3. Bakugo often comes to check up on Hatsume a couple of times a day to make sure she's not overworking herself.  4. Bakugo and Hatsume like to take walks around town on the weekend to get some fresh air away from the dorms and search for new places to spend time together.  5. Hatsume is bad with dates, so is often late for things like Valentines Day and birthdays, and often gives Bakugo placeholder gifts until she can prepare the real one.  6. Bakugo helped train Hatsume in self defense. Her first time using the technique was when she judo threw Monoma through a table for hitting on her again.  7. Hatsume likes to sleep in Bakugo's room rather than her own, and Bakugo loves it.  8. Whenever Bakugo gets too riled up, he seeks out Hatsume so that she can calm him down through kisses and hugs.  9. Hatsume started calling Bakugo "BakuBeast" after seeing Katsuki in action during one of his practice spars, and his opponent calling him a 'beast'. The name stuck, but Bakugo hates it when anyone other than Hatsume calls him that.  10. Mei's grandmother loves Bakugo, and Bakugo's family loves Hatsume back.  11. Ask anyone in class 1A, and they will say that Hatsume has been a positive influence on Bakugo's behavior.

Congratulations 🎉 I know I already have something for Beth x Arana on the way, but if it’s not too much trouble, I have a head canon for a ship where Bakugo likes to play with Hatsume’s hair.

Ah! Some lovely rarepair content; that’s always welcome in this house, fufufu. Thanks for participating in the event! Without further ado, some headcanons on BakuMei where Katsuki likes to play with Mei’s hair!: 

BakuMei Hair-Playing Headcanons

Katsuki and Mei began dating in their second year at U.A.! At first, Mei’s boundless energy irritated him, but after a while, he found it endearing (though he’ll never admit it). He appreciates the passion Mei displays with her work, as it’s something he can very much relate to! It didn’t take long for Katsuki to discover that he looooooves to play with Mei’s hair... 

Mei was visiting their dormitory the first time he tried it. They were lounging on the sofa watching a movie, with Mei sprawled out on her side laying on a throw pillow in Katsuki’s lap. Katsuki has always been antsy with a lot of nervous energy, so at some point, he needed something to do with his hands. So he absently picked up a strand of Mei’s hair and began playing with it. 

He was only using it to channel some excess energy, but soon the movie was forgone because he was more occupied with her salmon-colored locks. Her hair was way softer than he ever imagined and just flowed so naturally around his fingers. 

When Mei rolled over to flash him a cheesy smile and ask what he was doing, he blushed hard and tried to play it off. Mei then giggled and adjusted herself so he had access to as much of her shiny tresses as possible because she definitely enjoyed his ministrations too!

Pink-cheeked and lowkey pleased, Katsuki resumed playing with her hair, just teasing it through his fingers. 

After that, it became his primary way to channel nervous energy when Mei was around. It didn’t matter what they were doing. Mei could hold a full-on conversation, as soon as he grew bored, Katsuki would just stand behind her running his fingers through the pink waves with rapt attention. 

It became a wordless communication that whenever Mei knew Katsuki was stressed, she would sit or lay down immediately so Katsuki could play with her hair and calm down. Eijirou has her on speed-dial and calls her when Katsuki’s rages get out of control. She’d show up, go up to Katsuki’s room, lay down on the bed, and he’d deflate instantly and go to quietly play with her hair. Ochako calls it witchcraft. 

Mei falls asleep a lot of the time. Katsuki is gentle and soft with his touches, and it’s just so soothing to have him play with her hair.

This is about Bakugo, his new girlfriend, and Todoroki's reaction to all of this. This is a pairing that I don't think anyone really knows about or follows, Bakugo x Hatsume. I don't know why I ship this, but I like it. Bakugo is a bit OOC, but I imagine he'd be like this with a girlfriend. Also, I imagine Todoroki would be someone who doesn't like Bakugo due to his personality.
