I’m Angelica, a rising junior and a BIS major. I  applied for this internship because of my interest in entrepreneurship. I run my own custom apparel business on campus called Fresh Print and saw this as an opportunity to expand my entrepreneurial experience past my small business. The company I  am working for is called GEN India and my project is helping with outreach for the Women Entrepreneurship Platform. My favorite experiences are being able to travel around India and experience the different cultures within each city and state.

The Adventure Begins!

In the Summer of 2018, the Baker Institute and the Lehigh@NasdaqCenter partnered with Lehigh’s Iacocca International Internship program to send 4 students to New Delhi, India where they would experience firsthand India’s exciting startup ecosystem.

Together, the L@NC and Baker Institute are committed to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurial and global leaders through opportunities that educate, connect, and

inspire student entrepreneurs around the world. We are thrilled to offer the opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a different entrepreneurial culture and deepen their understanding of entrepreneurial thinking and practice.

The Global Entrepreneurship Internship program kicked off with a 3-day workshop at at the L@NC in San Francisco, preparing the students for their international internship experience. After that, it was off to India for 8 weeks!

After a successful summer in India, we decided to add a London opportunity! Applications are open now for both Global Entrepreneur Internships. Both the New Delhi and London internships will work with local startups and introduce students to the entrepreneurial worlds of India and England.
