Top 10 Sports Bikes in India
Top 10 Sports Bikes in India
Having a two-wheeled vehicle was once considered to be a very big deal. But nowadays, owning a pricey, fast bike is a sign of fashionable culture. Normal motorcycles are mostly used for daily transportation, but sports bikes represent speed, power, torque, & a fashionable appearance to riders. The realm of speed is defined by the sports bike.
Sports bikes nowadays come in a wide variety. If owning one of India's finest sports motorcycles is about to become a reality for you, have a look at the list below. It comprises some of the most well-known sports-category two-wheelers now available on the national market. We have broken down our descriptions based on pricing, engine, design, style, and color to make it easier for you to compare options.
1. Kawasaki Ninja 650
In 2020, Kawasaki Ninja's latest iteration was released. It's a new member of the Ninja clan. It has a fantastic athletic appearance. There is just one type of bike available. This bike sports aggressive-looking LED headlights with sharp edges. These ominous lights are the ideal complement to the Ninja moniker. The brand-new Kawasaki Ninja weighs 196 kg in total.
This Ninja version's back seat has been ergonomically created to be comfier. The low seat height makes it simple to keep your foot flat on the ground. The rider can sit comfortably thanks to the high clip-on. These bikes are great because of their style, color, and shade.
2. Ktm Rc 390
The most fashionable model is the KTM RC 390. This racing bike has a diabolical appearance thanks to its fantastic dual projector setup. A translucent panel is present. Additionally, the mirror incorporates the indication signs. With an open carriage, you also have sporty tires. It looks much more appealing because of the excellent design and color mix. Also included are adjustable levers. You are given a rear seat that perfectly resembles a cowl.
3. TVS Apache RR 310
This time, TVS is introducing a new option that allows customers to place orders for customized motorcycles directly through the TVS website. You may pick your preferred paint job, performance level, graphics, kit, etc. The bike seems quite athletic. It is equipped with projector LED lights. It is more appealing due to the contrast of the two color tones. This brand-new TVS Apache is covered with chic stickers.
A little higher is where the exhaust is located. Additionally, the footpegs have been moved somewhat higher and with a rear setup. This will enable the cyclist to be more relaxed. Its chain is brass-coated, which helps prevent corrosion. There are two distinct color options available for the bike.
4. Yamaha YZF R15 V3
Yamaha offers a huge selection of sports motorcycles. In India, the Yamaha YZF R15 V3 is a stylish and well-liked model. Three distinct colors are available for this bicycle. The motorcycle's solitary cylindrical, liquid-cooled engines are strong and stylish. There is a 6-speed manual transmission on it. It also has good mileage, which increases its fuel efficiency. The bicycle weighs 142 kg in total. The bike received the India Look Mark Award in 2019 for its chic design and superb performance.
5. Ktm Rc 200
What if you could get a sporty car for less than 2 lakhs that have a sophisticated appearance and great performance? Then, KTM sports bikes are included in a list of the best sports bikes. As well as having an anti-braking system, it boasts twin disc brakes, which ensure increased protection. It boasts a 19Nm torque-producing electronic fuel-injected engine. Its weight is rather modest. This structure will make handling easier.
6. Bajaj Pulsar RS200
The brand-new Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is a racing bike with strong mileage and incredible speed. The new Bajaj Pulsar has a far more aggressive appearance because of its extremely cutting-edge and crisp design. In addition to its appearance, the bike has a 6-gear gearbox.
It has a DRL setup with two projectors. Dual-channel ABS technology, which is a great safety feature, is included. Moreover, it features an oxygen sensor. The young Bajaj Pulsar weighs 2 kg more than its older siblings. It has new designs, stickers, and cuts around the structure that make it look more expensive and highly sporty.
7. KTM RC 125
The KTM RC 125 is the ideal sports bike for you if your spending limit is less than 1.5 lakhs. It is just as fashionable as the most expensive RC 200. The engine displacement is the primary distinction between these two KTMs. Engine power is reduced on the KTM RC 125. Its six-gear gearbox makes it a better choice for a racing bike. The bike can go 120 km/h at its peak speed.
For this model, there are currently two color options available. The rearview mirror is made more fashionable by having LED indicators attached to it. Its twin projector headlamp has a devilish appearance. This bike's color contrast is awesome. It offers originality with its orange color wheel.
8. Suzuki Gixxer SF
Even though Suzuki only produces a small number of sports bikes, the Suzuki Gixxer is nevertheless a fantastic machine. Suzuki has made significant design changes as a start. This bike seems more elegant and sinister thanks to the LED lights. The bike is available in three fashionable color tones. Therefore, it will improve the rider's appearance.
It can generate 13.5 Nm of torque. The Suzuki Gixxer engine's main flaw is that it uses outdated air-cooling technology rather than far more sophisticated liquid-cooling technology. This bike can go at a top speed of 127 km/h. Its cousin, the 200 CC, took home the most prestigious bike of the year prize in 2020, the Autocar Award.
9. Honda CBR 605R
Honda did an amazing job with the design. It is catchy and stylish thanks to the twin aggressive headlights, stickers, rim tapes, and color contrast. It looks nasty because of the LED headlights. Honda was the designer of the engine. Thus, you may put your complete faith in the performance of Japanese engines. Its engine makes a beautiful sound.
The rider can sit more comfortably, especially on extended trips, thanks to the foot pegs' modest elevation and increased rearward positioning. Top-notch design and craftsmanship can be found in Honda premium motorcycles. The pillion seat may be used, and the seats are cozy.
10. Ducati Monster BS6
The business was founded in 1993, but after a few years, it was forced to deal with financial difficulties. And today, some 30 years later, Ducati continues to represent the world's best-selling motorcycle. Ducati has made several design revisions. The new Ducati Monster weighs less than its predecessors. The juvenile Monster is also rather little. The bike is the lightest.
It features an upward exhaust in the back. The most crucial TFT display is at the front, along with flashy LED indicators and mirrors. These elements combine to make this bike upscale and stylish. On the F1 racetrack, the bike has been used and tested. It has a modest fuel capacity. In comparison to earlier cycles, it weighs 18 kg less.

Best Dual channel ABS bikes under 2 lac
Riding a two-wheeler is a risky affair. You are exposed to every kind of danger there is. And when we talk about riding on Indian roads, it is no less than an adventure. With the increasing number of two-wheelers on the road and an increasing number of potholes as well, it is advisable to get yourself a motorcycle which scores high on the safety quotient.
A Dual-channel ABS system plays a very crucial role in ensuring that you reach home safe and sound. Although some manufacturers offer single-channel ABS too, if you have ever ridden a motorcycle, you would know that sometimes, a single-channel ABS just doesn’t cut it. Here are the best motorcycles under INR 2 Lakh with dual-channel ABS:
Retro-styled
Royal Enfield Classic 350
Retro-styled motorcycles might have gained huge popularity only in the past couple of years but it is the RE Classic 350 which is the OG of the game. It sells like hotcakes despite having its own set of limitations. On the performance front, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 comes with BS6 compliant, 350cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 19bhp of power and 28Nm of torque. RE has added a fuel injector to the BS6 variant of the bike to improve throttle response.
Benelli Imperiale 400
The sole BS6 offering from Benelli, the Imperiale 400 is a retro delight! Since it is a relatively new introduction to the Indian market there aren’t many changes except the fact that it now has a BS6 compliant power plant. Its 374cc single-cylinder motor delivers 21 PS of maximum power and 29 Nm of peak torque. It features retro styling highlighted by elements like the teardrop-shaped fuel tank with rubber thigh pads, round headlamp cluster, split seat design, wide handlebars, etc.
Jawa Motorcycles
The Jawa Perak is considered to be a lifestyle product but the Jawa and the Jawa 42 churn out the numbers for the company. The 293 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine of the Jawa and Jawa 42 produced 27 PS of maximum power and 28 Nm of peak torque. Now, with the BS6 update, this engine churns out 26.51 PS and 27.05 Nm. If you are looking for an authentic retro experience, Jawa Motorcycles deserve serious thought.
Honda CB350
The latest kid on the block, the Honda CB350 was launched recently. One good look at the spec sheet and you would know that the Japanese bikemaker has gone all guns blazing on its competition. The CB350 is powered by a 348cc air-cooled single that churns out 21bhp and 30Nm. The long-stroke engine features a balancer to keep vibrations in check. The Honda Highness cruiser bike also comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control. Streetfighter styled:
KTM Duke 200
The BS6 iteration of the KTM Duke 200 received significant updates and now looks more modern than before. When it was launched back in 2012, it took the market by storm because of the equipment it had on offer and its radical looks. The Duke 200 is powered by a 199.5cc engine which produces 25.83 PS @ 10,000 rpm and a torque of 19.5 Nm @ 8000 rpm. As far as streetfighters go, the Duke 200 still holds a special place in a biker’s heart.
Bajaj Dominar 400
Ever since it was launched, the Dominar 400 has always been a value for money proposition. It packs the same motor which powers the mental naked Duke 390. Powering the motorcycle is a 373cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, single-cylinder engine that is good for 40HP of maximum power and peak torque of 35Nm. Bajaj tags the Dominar 400 as its ‘power cruiser’. The Dominar 400 is particularly renowned for its highway touring capabilities.
Bajaj Dominar 250
The Dominar 250 is similar to the Dominar 400 in more than one ways but features fewer premium parts to keep costs in check. Bajaj launched its BS6 compliant Dominar 250 in March 2020. Dominar 250 is powered by a 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor which is borrowed from the KTM 250 Duke. This helps the Dominar 250 produce 26.6bhp of power and 23.5Nm of peak torque. It might not be as powerful as its elder brother but is still capable on wide-open highways.
TVS Apache RTR 200
The TVS Apache RTR 200 is considered to be one of the best 200cc naked streetfighters available in the country today. The 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 199.5 cc single-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power output of 20bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 16.8Nm at 7,500 rpm. The BS6 compliant engine of the bike is mated to a five-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.
Suzuki Gixxer 250
The Suzuki Gixxer 250 might not be the most popular choice in the quarter-litre segment but there is no denying to the fact that it is one of the best 250cc motorcycles available in the country today. he BS6 compliant 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected SOHC engine of the bike churns out 26.5 PS which comes in at 9300 rpm while the torque rating of 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm has stayed as it is. This powerplant comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250/Svartpilen 250
If we had one word to describe the Huskies, it would be ‘Exotic’. While both of them don’t score that high on practicality, it is the fun factor they bring to the table which makes them such interesting motorcycles. They use the same mechanicals from the KTM Duke 250 and retain the same engine. The 248.8 cc fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor puts out 30 ps of peak power @ 9000 rpm and 24 Nm torque @ 7500 rpm.
Fully faired motorcycles
KTM RC 200
The KTM RC 200 is an excellent beginner’s bike if you are looking for some track action. An updated version of the same is on the cards and should arrive sometime in 2021. The current iteration is powered by a 199.5cc engine which produces 25.83 PS @ 10,000 rpm and a torque of 19.5 Nm @ 8000 rpm. Its sharp styling and handling characteristics still manage to attract motorcyclists around the country.
Bajaj Pulsar RS 200
Although it hasn’t received a significant update since the time it was launched, the RS 200 still remains a formidable motorcycle in its segment. The RS 200 uses a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 24.13bhp and 18.5Nm. Bajaj recently rolled out new colour schemes for the RS 200 which make the motorcycle look sportier than before. But we still think that it is time now that Bajaj should think of updating the RS 200 thoroughly.
Yamaha R15
The Yamaha R15 is another excellent choice when it comes to aggressive, faired sports bikes under INR 2 Lakh. Don’t let its displacement fool you. This thing handles like a charm and performs in the same manner. It is powered by a 155 cc, Liquid-cooled, 4- stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine which produces a power output of 18.6 PS at 10,000 rpm and a torque of 14.1 N.m at 8,500rpm.
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250
The Gixxer SF 250 is the faired sibling of the Gixxer 250, hence, it is powered by the same 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected SOHC engine which churns out 26.5 PS which comes in at 9300 rpm while the torque rating stands at 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm. The inclusion of a well-designed fairing and a windshield upfront makes it an excellent mile muncher.

The Bajaj Pulsar 350 NS is one such bike that has everything mentioned above. You just need to take it home. The bike will never disappoint you. The appearance is great and is very much impressive. The headlight is the attractive feature at the front, and the petrol tank is given full marks for its aggressive looks. The split seats add that sporty look to the bike, which most youngsters want.
A true sports bike with 350 CC now isn’t this you really wanted? The Pulsar 350 NS is available in four variants and four different capacity engines, which is why they also differ in mileage. The machine comes inbuilt with highly advanced suspension system that does not produce any jerks even on rough roads and takes control of the bike easily.
