Kenji on and off the court are very different. Off the court he’s very friendly and easy going but On the court he’s completely focused on winning and does not go easy on his opponent

It’s kinda funny how similar he is to Rayyan I would just say Kenji is much friendlier and was trying to be understanding of why rayyan was upset. Also Kenji loves lying. Still chose to push him up against the lockers though just for the tension

Honestly he probably does not shut up about how much he misses Sam

I like to imagine he has complicated feelings about his mom. He’s upset with her but he still enjoys photography because of the time they spent together

This if is like one of my first major choicescript games. It’s so much fun and I definitely enjoyed the other game made by the author “merry crisis”. Honestly the author does such a great job at writing engaging and interesting characters that I had so much trouble deciding who would be my main RO. My friends to lover bias ended up winning in the end. I always just enjoyed tennis in passing but god this game was so fun

im wondering what the nicknames are for? will people start calling us our nickname if we get close? could i just make it so that i dont have a nickname?

Yes! There'll be little moments throughout the game that the characters will start calling MC by their nicknames. I also thought it would be a fun way to commemorate some of the cute little moments that happen in the game.

Thought it might also make folks a little curious and incentivised to seek out certain extra scenes if they hear of a nickname from other folks!

Right now, there's things like "Space Invader" for Sam, "Rockstar" for dad, various laser-tag related things like "Capt. America" and "Dr. Strange" for hallmates, "Tiny Hulk" or "Hulk" or "Hurricane" or "Devil" for teammates, "mon/ma jock" or "mon étoile" for G or "dancer/bailaora/bailaor" for Tobin or "Doctor" for Rayyan, etc. There'll be more for the ROs as time goes on (Tobin/Rayyan are still not really at the 'nickname' stage yet).

3. What was Rook’s life before their faction?

Elio's barely had a life before the crows, rn in my mind he was probably bought as a 5-6 year old, but before that he was raised in the same orphanage he was left as a baby. He never knew his parents and knowing he was abandoned stayed with him for a long time, he probably doesn't remember much from those first years of his life but they were a bit better than how he was treated once he joined the crows.

12. Does Rook have any family? Do they keep in touch?

He has his twin Luar <3 they finally meet after going their entire lives not knowing about each other because Varric also recruited them for the veilguard job. They're a Mourn Watch mage and they get together with Emmrich so, maybe he ends up counting as family too. Their relationship is somewhat strained because Luar is content with their life before veilguard and they're just not that interested in forming the deep bond Elio would like from them so they keep in touch after veilguard but only through letters and the like. His parents are also out there somewhere alive but I'm still not sure if I want him to find and meet them. Viago also sees Elio as family but his initial attitude when they first met of wanting to keep their relationship strictly professional and tied to the crow business has made this very one sided, Elio is 100% sure Viago only cares about him in a strictly talon and the assassin he's invested his time into way.

13. Did Rook bring any trinkets/sentimental items to The Lighthouse?

Sigh. It was just my luck that when I finally decide I want to play a strictly andrastian city elf bioware's like no <3 but yeah, I dont think as a regular crow he's allowed to keep many sentimental items or even has had the time to collect very many of those however, the one thing he does bring with him to the Lighthouse is a simple pendant-locket with a small Andraste portrait in it

23. What does Rook wear in the off hours? Do they like dressing up?

Honestly the default lighthouse crow outfit is pretty close to something he would wear in the off hours, tight, high wasted pants with a buttoned shirt halfway open is faithful to some of his aesthetics, he would also pair it with a vest and the cut of the pants would be closer to the kind spanish bailaors wear rather than the more casual leather ones crow rook has. Maybe in green-black instead of the purple-black all crows seem to wear. As for dressing up he's... made his peace with it. As a crow representing his house he has to look the part and his great social skills mean he's getting assigned more contracts that deal with gatherings where he has to dress up so he's had to learn to be ok with it but he still has a bit of a difficult relationship with his body so he doesn't take pleasure in it either.
