we got to hank's first episode of BCS last night and i wish i had recorded for you guys how happy bailey was. she was already in kind of a giddy mood like notably excitable just cause of vibes but the second hank walked onscreen she turned into a little kid being unleashed into a pen full of weeks-old puppies. i've ever seen her that excited about anything, not even when she got to pet the cows at the zoo. i wish i could bottle that sound of her gushing into a candle and light it every time i'm sad.

reason i love my GF #54656576: she is obsessed with the uncle kracker cover of drift away and it i guess lives in her mind like a cognitohazard of some sort because whenever she is very sleepy she presumably has the thought to tell me "wendy, i am drifting off to sleep" but that makes her think about uncle kracker and so instead of communicating to me "hello my love, my sleeping pill is kicking in, so i am about to disappear from our communications" she does this:

Funniest story in the world to me is that before my gf and I were friends she binge read my entire AO3 catalog. And I noticed that she was pointedly and noticably avoiding any and all fics that involved Manfred von Karma and figured ah like she's one of the folks who views him as an abuser and a bastard only and doesn't want to read my fics where I make him a weird awkward vampire dad who loves his kids and I just didn't mention it until AGES LATER we're dating and I find out she was actually avoiding those fics because she ALSO hates the popular fanon and so she filters him out of AA fanfic in the hopes of avoiding it. Funniest shit in the entire world. We had the same opinion all along

girlfriend is currently obsessed with a pokepark 2 commercial which she has been singing nonstop in every situation and I am in the bathroom and she has it on loop while she convalesces from motion sickness on my futon in the other room

fave thing my girlfriend does is call me mean when i tease her but she always does it very indignantly and condescendingly so i'll make some joke at her expense and she's like "you're a mean little lady!"
