Saw an edit of 2521 today and had this ache in my heart again, no media has impacted me sm in recent times, everytime I remember the friendship that the characters shared makes me feel so sad and nostalgic and suddenly I reminiscing about my high school friends and how much I miss the time i spent with them and how everything went downhill after high school.A few of the scene like the scene on the beach when Seungkwana shouts that "this summer is ours" and when they get older and seungkwana and baekyijin are talking and seungkwana says something like I miss the old days we used to have fun back then. Everytime I remember that scene makes me feel so fucking sad

i have simply come to the conclusion that i literally don’t care what the canon ending is of twenty five twenty one because those characters would never do the things they did in the canon. those characters would make different choices. yijin and heedo would’ve reacted differently and they would’ve fought for each other with everything they had. you could tell from the way they held on to each other underneath the cherry blossoms. they wouldn’t give up that fast without a fight. fuck the writer. in my canon, baekdo are happy and in love and are raising a kid together and they find comfort in each other’s arms when things get a little too tough. they are each other’s homes and no amount of bad writing can take that away from me or the characters

i will simply never believe that people who hold on to each other the way that baekdo do, are able to entirely break up with each other and never ever look back and not ever contact each other and move on with their lives...the way they hold each other, pressing into each other’s bodies, during the cherry blossom scene is so heartbreaking to watch because it genuinely looks like they are holding on to each other to not lose each other. the characters can’t handle breaking up and i genuinely don’t believe they want to. it hurts too much to watch because i believe they would’ve fixed the problems they had... i don’t believe they would give up that fast. they are falling apart at the seam just from the thought of breaking up. they would’ve made it work. 

the fact that the writer has them break up, to me, seems to throw dirt onto their beautiful and strong relationship. it’s like a slap to their face. i will actually never get over the pain from this ending and i will forever get angry when i think of what the writer did

no because the scene when heedo is tenderly holding yijin’s face in her hands as he cries and looks up at her like she is the only thing he feels tethered to as he falls into the depths of hell??? my heart aches for the two of them

how do you look at each other like baek yijin and na hee do do and then don’t end up together??? how do you fight for everything you have in your life and give up on your relationship that fast????? the way the writer completely changed their characters to fit her damn “first love never lasts” theme i’m so fucking mad. how cruel it is to not just the viewers but the characters as well to malign them like that. also, to the actors who repeatedly asked for the ending to be changed ??? they lived and breathed those characters. they embodied those characters. they know those characters best. if they say the ending should be different it should be fucking different. my heart aches for joohyuk right now because yijin went through so much shit and had absolutely no closure. i hope he’s doing okay. i hope they’re all doing okay. fuck the writer
