Posted @withregram • @marshall.ulrich We reached our Alzheimer’s Association fundraising goal! THANK YOU to everyone who donated in honor of Stray Dog, Mark Macy (Mace). My Winter Badwater, including an expedition summit of 14,508 foot Mount Whitney, inspired our goal of $14,508. Each and every one of you, no matter how much you donated, played a part in us meeting – then exceeding – this goal. Your kindness and support is truly appreciated.   We do want especially recognize Epic Bill Bradley, who sent us over the top. Bill has competed the Badwater 135 race twice, has done a 292-mile double crossing, a 584-mile quad crossing, and attempted a self-contained solo 146-mile crossing; among other accomplishments. Pretty epic indeed. What was even more epic was: after donating $100 early on, when I sent a thank you message to Bill mentioning that we were only $899 from our $14,508 goal . . . Bill donated another $900 dollars! We were shocked, amazed, touched, and so very grateful. Thanks again Bill!   Every dollar, from each of you, will help Mace’s “Alzheimer’s brothers and sisters” in their fight against this horrible disease, as well as provide support for their families and caregivers.
