I’m finally back from Okinawa! Which means I’m finally able to work on adding my own writing to the 1800s Silmarillion AU that @thelonelybrilliance @wearetakingthehobbitstogallifrey and I have been building (but which poor Emma has taken the lion’s share of writing thus far!)! As thanks to Emma for her work while I’ve been away here is a sketch of outlaw Maitimo circa. 1852 that I did while on the plane from Japan, to the great interest of the middle-aged Japanese couple sitting next to me.

I have been overwhelmingly busy this past week with my full time job, dance classes, dance teaching, and prep for my trip to Okinawa. As a result I have not even read all the absolutely gorgeous Silmarillion fics @thelonelybrilliance has been blessing the world with, but I did manage to read a couple while eating my hasty breakfast this morning, and AAAHHH

I am now heading to work and have not the time to write how much I love your Fingon and Feanorians, Emma, so here is a quick drawing specifically of your Fingon for you as a thanks until I have time to breathe
