BIO POINTS
Alek was born to a set of parents that claimed they would love him no matter what. He was the youngest of three in the city of Virginia Beach, Virginia. His mother, Sharon, is a high-end lawyer, and his father, Zachary, is an art collector for museums all around the country. As a child, Alek had a great life. He was spoiled; given whatever he asked for as long as he did his homework and went to church on Sunday mornings. That was all his parents asked of him, and he did what he was told. Aside from schoolwork he branched out into the likes of dance and gymnastics as something to do for fun, but those were the most sport-y activities he wanted to be a part of.
When Alek was thirteen, he noticed a few things changing about his life. While everyone that age was going through puberty, discovering love and starting to date, Alek was confused. He was starting to like both boys and girls, and he felt like a part of him was broken. But his sexuality wasn’t the only thing that Alek was confused about. All of his friends were boys, and with age those boys started to pick on Alek for all the things he wasn’t, which he found out two years later.
From the ages of thirteen to fifteen, Alek had come to the realization that, even if he saw himself as one of the boys, he wasn’t a boy. At least, that’s what everyone told him at his strict Catholic school. Everyone, even the teachers, told him that he was a girl and needed to start acting as such. So at fourteen, he started wearing makeup, and skirts, and dresses, and trying to fit in with all the girls. But that was never him. So at fifteen, after he did research, he told his parents that he was a boy, not a girl. But this didn’t go over well with Sharon and Zachary. After days of arguing, Alek left his parents behind to live with his grandparents in New York. It was there that he was able to experience the beauty of what the LGBT+ community can hold. And once he turned sixteen, his parents had sent him the emancipation papers to prove even further that he was no longer their daughter, nor was he their son at all.
Despite his self discovery in New York, Alek still felt like he had single handedly tore his family apart because of his confession. His parents refused to talk to him since he left, and in turn, also shut out his grandparents. Alek knew that that was his fault, and as much as he put on a brave face and showed that he didn’t care, he really did care about what his parents thought of him. Throughout his transition he had hoped that they’d come around, hoped that they’d change their minds about what they had said, but he never received a call.
Alek was nineteen, fresh out of high school when he received a full-ride scholarship to Lima University for academics. It was the best offer he had received out of all the places he applied to, and he jumped at the opportunity as soon as he received it. His only problem was the university didn’t cover room and board, but he managed to figure that out by becoming an escort. He finds it degrading, and he hates that he’s fetishised, but it gives him the money he needs. Now at 21, almost 22, he has his life together, he knows where’s going after college, and to top it all off he still manages to do dance and gymnastics for Lima University.
