He will never emotionally recover from this.
I really wanted to try doodling him again and I don't really hate it? I'm not going to look at it for too long...
Oh hey, Minty is here too! I like to think she became a multiversal therapist after Have Some Empathy, Dear and since Baggs is already a doctor, they sometimes work together.

My Courage The Cowardly Dog AUs:
Main AU - The show is the same except I added my headcanons and my own OCs to it
Caretakers of Anxiety AU - This AU only involves Barry and The Revenge Six. When Barry gets kidnapped by the villains as a small kitten and taken to their home, however, instead of killing him, they began raising the baby with little help from Freaky Fred and the Banana Dealer
Cowboy AU - This AU involves the episode 'Cowboy Courage' but the whole series takes place in Wild West era
2P AU - This AU is inspired by @ppanhwi involving the characters having alternate personalities and apperances. For ex: Courage is brave dog and isn't afraid of anything
Detective AU - This AU takes place in the 1970s-80s across New York. Courage is the main detective, though he is a coward but brave enough on his cases there he also meets with one of the new detectives in town named Barry and his partner Shade
Witch Hunt AU - This AU takes place in the medieval era in which the witch hunt begins
Frostbite Family AU - This AU is about Barry and Team Frostbite. Before Nathan and Teresa died, they had to send Barry who was a baby over to the snowy lands to which Team Frostbite found him. Since they realise that his parents died, they took him in to their place and raise him
Bloodlust Curse AU - This AU focuses on the episode "King Ramses' Curse". It is said that anyone who comes across his slab or himself would face the same plagues but Ramses gained the fourth plague which is his victims being slaughtered to death by thousands of bloodlusted bats
Eternal Night Curse AU - This AU follows a curse of eternal night being said by cat like creatures known as "Dream Cats" that night time will be stay forever in Nowhere. However it is said that if it happens, it will end all life really quickly due to the cold weather and lack of food. This also takes on the OC Crescent who after being free, was desperate to find someone who can play with her little games
Barbers Asylum AU - This AU focuses on Freaky Fred. Since Fred's mother(also the sister of Muriel) couldn't take her son's obsession of shaving hair, she had no choice but to send him to an mental asylum for life. Though the person he is fond who is Muriel, she pays visits to him whenever she is out
Weirdcore/Dreamcore AU - This AU follows the characters in a distorted version of their universe with their morbid appearances based of what they are. Ex: Computer is a computer head. Kitty is a cat plush made of cotton and wool and her mouse toy becomes a real mouse. Bunny is also a bunny plush made out of cotton and wool. Courage is a dog puppet, has stitch marks over him and buttons sewn into his eyes
Gorecore AU - This AU follows the characters in a horror and gory take on their universe, with their appearances being gory. Ex: Courage's eyes and limbs went missing, Katz has spider bites and wounds all over his body and Cajun Fox has burn marks from boiling water or oil, his eyes were sore from sunlight and his glasses are broken
Bad Ending AU - This is a What If... AU which the protagonists didn't get their happy endings. Ex: Courage and Muriel get killed by their enemies in Ball Of Revenge, Bunny and Kitty didn't reunite together due to Bunny meeting her fate at the hands of Mad Dog in The Mask and everyone died in the submarine explosion except for Katz in Katz Under The Sea
Gem AU - This AU is inspired by @welpimspooky it takes on Steven Universe. Courage/Coral and others are gems living across a fallen world
Reunited Family AU - This AU follows Courage and the Bagges meeting two dogs who look a lot like Courage, however the old couple don't realize that the two are Courage's actual parents
The Amazing Digital Circus X Courage The Cowardly Dog AU - This AU follows the TADC story but with CTCD characters as the characters. Ex: Courage has the role as Pomni, Muriel is Ragatha
Humanized AU - This AU is the same as my Main AU except the characters who are anthropomorphic animals or monsters are humans

Cyan The Peacock (Courage The Cowardly Dog Fanfic)
[Characters: Courage, Muriel Bagge, Eustace Bagge and Cyan(OC)]
[When Courage and the Bagges head to a French library, they meet someone who appears to be quite shy and they speak in a French, soft spoken accent]
(It starts with Courage trying to reach out a book that is higher on the shelf but his height isn't high enough to reach it, he looks at it with his ears drooping down. Then someone who resembles a blue and white pecock came by and took the book he was getting off the shelf and looked at it)
???: Oooh, magnifique. I think that can be good to read (face turns surprised) Hmm? (Looks at Courage feeling sad, which made him feel bad for him) Ohhh, are you looking for this book that I got
(Courage nods)
???: (feeling bad for the dog, while holding the book. But then smiles while he gives it to him) Here, i apologise for grabbing it before you.
Courage: No no, it's alright but thanks anyways (takes the book and walks off)
???: You too chien(dog)
(It then cuts to the peacock rolling down a trolley and placing some books onto some shelves. Then a library staff member who is a fox walks to the bird)
???: Your doing ok there Cyan?
Cyan: Oh yes, oui oui Monsieur
???: Your doing good there pal. Now that I'm here, you go over and rest for now.
Cyan: Are you sure sir? But, who will place the books on ze shelves?
Muriel: Not really dear
???: Don't worry Cyan, I will do that for you
Cyan: Oh, ok Monsieur sir
(Cyan walks off to the staff's break room. While the fox staff member does his job by storing the books into their rightful shelves and moving the trolley)
(It then cuts to Cyan, who is on his break for now, Muriel walks by him)
Muriel: Oh why hello dear
Cyan: Oh uhh! Bonjour Madame hehe-. Can I help you with... anything? Even though I'm on my break
Cyan: Oh, ok Madame
Muriel: That's alright dear (pats Cyan's head)
(Courage comes over with a book he is holding)
Muriel: Oooh Courage, What book do you have here? Let's see what it is about
(Courage attempts to give the book to Muriel, then Eustace walks by Muriel)
Eustace: (snatches the book off of Courage's paws) Gimme that! Stupid dog!
(Courage's ears droop down)
Muriel: (mad at Eustace taking the book off of Courage) Eustace, that's not really nice of you to dear Courage
Eustace: Bah! Whatever
Cyan: Sir, I may have to save this, but I don't tolerate this type of behaviour in our library
Eustace: Then I don't tolerate you following behind me. So beat it you freakish- whatever you are!
Cyan: Sir, your behaviour is gonna get worse sir
Eustace: (impersonates Cyan's voice) "Oh Sir, your behaviour is gonna get worse" Bleh bleh bleh, blah! Your really annoying me a lot you blue freak and your voice is the most annoying ever (he walks slowly towards Cyan who was moving backwards away from him with tears coming out of his eyes)
(Many people[including Muriel and Courage] and the staff witness Eustace verbally abusing Cyan, until two of the library staff walk to Eustace and grab his arm each)
???: Ok Mr Bagge that's it, because of you verballly abusing at our trained employee, we're gonna have to get you out of this library. So come on you old grump
(As the two staff members pull Eustace, grumbling angrily to himself out of the library, they threw him out on the streets of Paris and close the doors as they leave. Then the staff employee came to Muriel and Courage while one of the staff comforts Cyan)
???: We apologise that we got your husband out of here for being rude to our employee Mrs Bagge
Muriel: Oh don't worry dear, Eustace does tend to get a bit... crabby with others but I still love him as his wife
???: (silent a bit) Oookay
Cyan: (quietly) Hang on a minute, how is someone who is very kind married to someone who said that I'm a... freak? (Sees Muriel) Huh?
Muriel: I'm sorry about me husband dear
Cyan: It's ok miss. Apology accepted
THE END

New OC introduction (at long long last) : The Lockmaster
Okay so-
No need to keep it up any further ; hereâs my new kid. Better get belted up because itâs rather dark. Youâve been warned.
Originally created as a âCTCDâ OC, Faith can nonetheless be fitted in any sort of context. But hereâs itâs origins concept. (WARNING ANGST, CHILD DEATH & ABUSE MENTIONS)
I picture them to be the âForgotten Antagonistâ of a Courage episode which would have never made it to the show, like âcreepypasta-styleâ. Hereâs the pitch.
It is the ghost of a child who has been assignated by the US governement -in the context of a repopulating strategy- to the previous owner of the Bagges farm. Thing is, as it occured said owner was a cruel son of a bitch, and Faith got basically treated as a slave and suffered horrible treatments, to a point of madness where the guy kept them locked and chained up in a secret âdouble basementâ (where they straight up knew hell); until one day the guy decided to simply never come back up again at all, and Faith died neglected, of cold, chained up in this dark cage. Since they died an unfair death, they went on as a ghost, and their grudge cursed the farm (which may or may not explain why the farm is so exposed to harmful, supernatural events) ; but were still bound to the basement, until someone would find their body- and could not rest until the guy has paid and theyâd be given a proper burial.
Years after the Bagges purchased the deserted farm (asshole had ran away because he had many debts), and Eustace accidentally found the buried trapdoor to the secret basement -and discovered Faithâs corpse. Faith thought their misery was finally over and had a bolt of hope ; except Eustace, being Eustace, refused to have anything to do with that and locked back the cell as if nothing has happened. Faith ? Well, they... took it extremely bad. Like, REAL bad. They got absolutely furious. Thatâs the thing. The condition of finding their body has been fulfilled, so now they could finally roam around. And they were resolute to torment the Bagges into giving them their post-mortem respects.
Now, hereâs the thing : Faithâs powers and abilities are based entirely on locks, and chains -control and summoning, due to their death circumstances. This is what makes them, the Lockmaster -the âlost episodeââs title ; and also what makes them frankly dangerous, has they are prompt to demonstrate to the Bagges, and Courage.
Basically the episode then consist in Faith wreaking havoc and terror, Courage having to confront them and find out whatâs wrong, explaination done to the Bagges (and severe Eustace scolding when Muriel finds out), the perpetrator gets what he f***ing deserves and after the burial and everything, Faith finally can rest in peace, after thanking tearful Courage, and everyoneâs happy, except Eustace and the guy. The end and everything.
Now, thatâs what would have happened, if the episode ever came out. But it never did. And in thingsâs currency, itâs Bianca who finally finds out about Faith, in the deserted house, after poor little thing has been staying stuck, as an Unused Character, bound to the rough of the never used hidden cell basement. And awoken, and finally Concretualized by Biancaâs powers, as her new protĂ©gĂ©.
-Flat design concept-
[Some additional information about Faith.]
Now, to insist on that (I canât emphasize it enough), its powers are entirely based on locks and chains control and summoning, which means they can not only lock their foes away, but also cancel peopleâs abilities, certains attacks, and even, with special chains (like the ones in Luigiâs Mansion 2, for reference) lock away magical abilities of/or supernatural beings. They can as well totally kill, even though they donât like to, by strangulation, quartering or dragging in someplace extremely inhospitable.
So yeah. Itâs Faith, or Lockmaster, to you. Scaredy cat, too serviceable, weary of people reactions and pacifist, and yet ready to break bones and minds in a vengeful mindset at any abusing sight. Be gentle with them, but donât underestimate them. Youâd be sorry. Oh, yes, youâd be sorry.
Thatâs one of the few characters with which I feel could actually do something.
#so anyway#yeah we're done-#hope you like them~ :)#new OC#ghostsona#long post#Faith#Lockmaster#LM3#child death mention#abuse#chains & locks#new character#flat design#ctcd#courage the cowardly dog#eustace bagge#muriel bagge#ghost child

Oddworld Ocâs: Mama Jeni
Name:Â Jeni
Aliases: Mama Jeni
Sex:Â Female
Species:Â Mudokon
Age:Â 115
Body Type:Â She is very skinny and small in stature. She looks like skin and bone. She is also covered in black tattoos on her body that look like shadow spirits.
Skin Color:Â Pale gray.
Eye Color: White Sclera with grey irisesÂ
Voice:Â Jenifer Lewis (Mama Odie)
Clothes of Choice:
A wooden crown with etchings that depict dark spirits or entities on the surface
A black skirt that only covers her font and backside.
A White chest wrap
Wooden baubles that look like mudokon skulls and heads dangle from her arms, wrists, and from the waist of her skirt.
Personality: Bubbly, Sassy, and loves to tease people.
Occupation:Â Trickster Shaman
Hobbies:Â Brewing drinks, Making medicine, Collecting flora and fauna into jars.
Story:Â
Mama Jeni used to be affiliated with a Malicious Dark Entity known as Lebone. Lebone was also known as the Shadow Lord and had many shades and evil spirits under their control. Mama Jeni offered freedom to one of the most powerful of the shades under Leboneâs control by using her body as a host for the spirit. This particular shade was a fragment from the Shadow Lord himself. a piece of his very being. Lebone casted her out for her betrayal and tried to kill her for her treachery. The shade saved her life and she was able to escape.
The Relationship with the shade is mutualistic symbiotic. They both benefit each other. The shade feeds off dark spiritual corruption, consuming the madness of others, or is energized by tampering with memories. Either by restoring them or wiping them completely. Jeni can allow herself into the minds of the creatures of oddworld to let the spirit feed. Jeni can use the shadeâs power as shadow magic and the host status has given her longevity. While mudokons can live well past the age of 40 when they are allowed to live free and in cleaner conditions, Mama Odie has long passed the expected lifespan for even a free born mudokon.
The downside of Jeniâs powers is that they can only mess with your mind if you want them to help you. If you want them to purge a bad memory, to restore your lost ones, if you want your redemption. Only then will Jeni and the Shadeâs influence work on you. If you do not want their help, it will have no effect. They cannot force their influence on you, nor does Jeni want that.
These powers classify her as a trickster shaman. There exists stigma with trickster shamans. They are always said to not be trusted and all of them are dangerous. Mama Jeni laughs at this and actively mocks it. She is far from evil. Sheâs like everyoneâs grandmother! She can be a handful especially with the relentless teasing, but she means well. She doesnât have a bad bone in her body!
Through the constant feeding the fragment of Lebone has gotten. Allowing the spirit to benefit people rather than harming it. Jeni was able to prepare the fragment for the eventual final confrontation of this evil spirit so they will never be a threat to oddworld again.Â
Other Information:Â
Mama Jeni was named after Jenifer Lewis. Who is the voice claim for the woman. It is a shoutout to Mama Odie since she was the inspiration for this oc.
One of the names that was being considered for Jeni was Mama Muri, a shout out to Muriel Bagge since the recent passing of Thea White
Mama Jeni is rumored to be much older than The Keeper.
Despite the Longevity, Mama Jeni is not immortal and will die someday.
Despite the eye color, Mama Jeni is not blind.

(LOS ANGELES) â The pilot of the helicopter that crashed in thick fog, killing Kobe Bryant and seven other passengers, reported the aircraft was ascending when it actually was heading for the ground, federal investigators said in documents released Wednesday.
Ara Zobayan radioed to air traffic controllers that he was climbing to 4,000 feet (1,220 meters) to get above clouds on Jan. 26 when, in fact, the chopper was plunging toward a hillside where it crashed northwest of Los Angeles, killing all nine people aboard.
The report by the National Transportation Safety Board said Zobayan may have âmisperceivedâ the angles at which he was descending and banking, which can happen when a pilot becomes disoriented in low visibility.
âCalculated apparent angles at this time show that the pilot could have misperceived both pitch and roll angles,â one report stated. âDuring the final descent the pilot, responding to (air traffic control), stated that they were âclimbing to four thousand.ââ
, to be embedded
John Cox, an aviation safety consultant, said the helicopterâs erratic flight path â the aircraft slowed, climbed, then banked to one side while sinking rapidly â are telltale signs of a pilot becoming disoriented in conditions that make it hard to see terrain or the horizon.
âHe is not the first person to experience it,â Cox said. âItâs a significant cause of accidents.â
The 1,700 pages of reports do not offer a conclusion of what caused the crash but compile factual reports. A final report on the cause is due later.
The NTSB said there was no sign of engine failure in the Sikorsky S-76 and the rotor was spinning just before it hit the ground at about 184 mph (296 kph). The impact caused a crater and scattered debris over an area the size of a football field in the Calabasas hills. Flames engulfed the wreckage.
Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and six of their friends were killed, along with Zobayan.
About 45 minutes before takeoff, Zobayan had texted a group of people overseeing the flight that the weather was looking âOK.â Richard Webb, owner of OC Helicopters, which booked the flight, agreed.
Zobayan took off from John Wayne Airport in Orange County at 9:06 a.m. with the eight passengers he had flown the day before to the same destination: a girls basketball tournament at the retired Lakers starâs Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks.
When the helicopter hadnât landed within an hour, an executive of the company that operated the aircraft began a frantic search for it on tracking software and had another company chopper dispatched to look for it.
âThe weird thing, though, is that the tracker had stopped at 9:45 a.m. which is not normal and we were trying to reach Ara over the radio,â noted Whitney Bagge, vice president of Island Express Helicopters. âI kept refreshing the tracker praying that it was just broken.â
Four current and one former pilot for Island Express were interviewed by NTSB investigators and while some praised the company, others said the safety culture could have been better, according to the reports.
One pilot said Zobayan, the companyâs chief pilot, didnât discuss safety policy or the minimum visibility needed to fly in certain weather. Another comment said the company didnât have a real safety management program.
The company, however, said it had no problem canceling flights if weather was poor. It cited six flights it canceled for Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard and one for celebrity Kylie Jenner that would have used the same helicopter.
Cate Brady, a personal assistant to Bryant, told NTSB investigators that he never complained or pushed back if his flights were canceled.
Island Express reported 150 flight cancellations due to weather last year. There were 13 cancellations due to weather for 2020, all logged in the two days before Bryantâs fatal flight.
The afternoon before the flight â after returning the Bryants and their guests to Orange County â Zobayan had texted that he had just checked the weather for his next flight and it was ânot the best day tomorrow but it is not as bad as today.â
The flight departure Saturday morning had been delayed by weather by 15 minutes, Brady said.
Brady said the original flight time for Sunday was 9:45 a.m., but Bryant had it rescheduled to 9 a.m. because he wanted to see another team play before his daughterâs game.
Bryantâs widow, Vanessa, has sued the pilot, Island Express and the owner of the craft for negligence. In the lawsuit, filed in February as a star-studded public memorial was held before 20,000 people at Staples Center, where Bryant played most of his career, Vanessa Bryant said the pilot shouldnât have flown in those conditions and should have aborted the flight.
Zobayanâs brother responded in a court filing that Kobe Bryant knew the risks of helicopter flying and his survivors arenât entitled to damages from the pilotâs estate. Island Express Helicopters Inc. has denied responsibility, calling the crash âan act of Godâ beyond its control.
Autopsies released last month showed Zobayan did not have drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of the crash. The coronerâs reports said all nine aboard died from the impact, not the fire that followed.
The others killed were Orange Coast College baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife, Keri, and their daughter Alyssa; Christina Mauser, who helped Bryant coach his daughterâs basketball team; and Sarah Chester and her daughter Payton. Alyssa and Payton were Giannaâs teammates.
One of the 40 documents posted by the NTSB includes a 215-page safety report that concludes with an article written by the former president of the Helicopter Association International titled âLand the damned helicopter.â
The late Matt Zuccaro wrote the commentary in 2013 after becoming frustrated reading NTSB crash reports and noting that most could have been prevented by a pilot deciding to land as fuel ran low or weather deteriorated.
âWhy donât pilots exercise one of the most unique and valuable capabilities of vertical flight â namely, land the damn helicopter!â Zuccaro wrote. âIn a high percentage of crashes, this simple act would break the chain of events and prevent the accident.â
The article was included without any comment from investigators.

New top story from Time: Pilot of Kobe Bryantâs Doomed Helicopter May Have Become Disoriented in Fog, NTSB Says

This writing request comes from my friend @gamemasterofscratch who requested Dr. Baggs being comforted as he's always so stressed and busy. I decided to try my hand at writing in third person for the first time in a while and chose the Reader-Insert character from the Bad Sansuary challenge I wrote, "Have Some Empathy, Dear." (I hope you like it, even if it isn't how I usually write!)
Dr. Baggs belongs to @/megalommi
CW: Mind control against an unwilling person. Nothing explicit happens though.
Doctor's Orders
Dr. Baggs & Female!OC
Word Count: 3,397
Careful...this next part was especially sensitive.
His phalanges trembled ever so slightly as he started to pour the contents of one beaker into another one. He only needed a drop, any more would ruin the experiment and mean the last twelve hours of work had been wasted.
He had taken the necessary precautions of course, just like he always did, even if his bones weren't as frail as many other's bodies were. He had thick black rubber gloves on that covered his entire forearms, a white lab coat that was specially treated to be fireproof, and he was even wearing safety goggles in case there was an explosion.
He narrowed his eye sockets as he scrutinized the bright pink liquid that he was trying to add to another beaker that contained an ashy powder. There was no guarantee that replicating it was even possible. He still had to try though. It would change everything if he could successfully make a synthetic version of that peculiar substance that humans produced naturally. There was no limit to how useful their own version of Determination could be.
Why, he would never have to worry so much about monsters losing hope and falling down. The Guard could have stronger soldiers that could evenly match the most competent human ones, not they weren't already capable in combat that is. He could even break the barrier and reclaim the surface for Monsterkind if he so chose. Not that he was sure that was even feasible in the first place.
A drop of the pink liquid landed on the small pile of ash and...nothing...
He held his breath and studied the beaker closely for several long minutes. When still nothing happened, he finally caved and added another tiny drop, just hoping that it was a fluke. He couldn't have messed something up, he just couldn't have!
A small puff of smoke curled up from the ashes, flooding his nasal cavity with an acrid stench that forced him to take a few steps away from his desk.
He clenched his fists, the rubber material of his gloves crying out in protest, and grit his teeth so harshly that he felt a small jolt of pain in the back of his skull.
wonderful job, sans... you've failed again...
As soon as the thought entered his skull, he frowned and tore off the goggles. He hadn't gone by that name in years, so why had it returned to him at a time like this?!
With a huff, he threw the eye wear at the far wall. The action wasn't nearly enough to placate his growing frustration and with a growl, he turned his attention to the desk. He swept everything to the floor and pounded a clenched fist onto the metal surface, hardly registering the pain from doing so.
Now he'd made a mess of his work area that he'd have to thoroughly clean up. It was a pain to get Monster dust off of anything, let alone that synthesized mixture his assistant had invented. The only good side was that this room had been constructed from easily sterilized materials.
He was so tired.
Yet no matter how hard he had tried to find a remedy in the past, he couldn't sleep. While having more time to dedicate to his work was helpful, it was also detrimental for his health to constantly be burning the candle at both ends.
Dr. Alphys had called him a workaholic once and he'd laughed. She was right though. He couldn't leave well enough alone or stop working for a moment, lest he fall behind some unseen competitor.
He took a few deep breaths and counted backwards from ten. It was such a simple technique but humans certainly knew what they were talking about when it came to psychology. Now if only they had information in their books on how to counteract magical insomnia...
Rubbing small circles over his sphenoid bone, or where his temples would approximately be if he had flesh, he did his best to ease the tension and stress that had built up inside his soul. His frontal lobe felt sensitive too, like he was about to get a migraine, which he really didn't want to deal with right now.
Something set his instincts on high alert. It was a soft sound, like someone had scuffed their foot against the tiled floor when they'd taken a step.
His skull whipped in the direction of the intruder.
His eye sockets widened when he realized they weren't a Monster at all, but a Human. One he'd never seen before either, which was impossible, what with all the surveillance systems scattered around the Underground that he personally oversaw.
They appeared to be a woman with shoulder length dark hair that had loose ringlets at the ends. She had a lighter complexion compared to some humans he'd interacted with and striking eyes that seemed like a mix of green and blue. She was dressed causally in a simple striped cardigan and a pair of black jeans. Interestingly, she also seemed to have some sort of thin plating poking out from her clothes that kind of resembled armour.
She was also taller than him, by at least six or seven inches. Granted, most people were taller than he was, but it was another factor he found concerning about her.
The weird thing was that she was just watching him. All other humans had at least tried to attack him or flee on sight. So why wasn't she?
Forcing himself to relax, he let his arms hang loosely at his sides in an attempt to appear non-threatening for the moment. "can i help you?" he asked, his clear baritone voice easily carrying across the room to her.
She shook her head, although he didn't fail to notice the glimmer of curiosity in her eyes. He could also tell that she was a little nervous, although she was trying to seem relaxed like he was. Her shoulders were rather stiff and with the way her feet were spaced apart, he could tell she was readying herself to flee if he made any sudden movements.
"I was about to ask you that same question," she responded. She let out a bit of an awkward chuckle but made no moves to approach him.
He shook his skull. "i don't need any help you think you can provide, human." He didn't really mean to sound hostile but he couldn't help it.
She seemed completely unfazed though. "That's okay then."
"who are you?" he asked.
She got a strange look on her face and the corners of her lips quirked up slightly. "Well, I have a lot of names, but you can call me...Minty."
He could only look at her blankly. Someone was messing with him, surely. Where had this odd human even come from? She hadn't popped out of nowhere, right? He needed to buy some time and maybe get an idea of what was happening.
Folding his arms behind his back, he drew himself up to his full height and briefly regarded the woman in front of him. "my name is dr. baggs and if you aren't interested in a fight, i have some questions for you..."
She smiled in a more genuine way which was slightly reassuring. "Of course, so long as you let me ask a few of my own."
Baggs nodded and gestured to a rolling chair next to another desk. "feel free to sit down and make yourself comfortable." When the human did so, he pulled another chair over and sat down, although he was careful to stay just out of her reach.
"how did you sneak past all the cameras and get into my lab?" he asked.
She laced her fingers together in her lap and fiddled with her fingernails. Her posture still seemed tense but she appeared calm at the moment.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," she said with a slight chuckle.
He raised a bonebrow suspiciously. "try me, i've seen a lot of things that many would consider unbelievable."
She seemed concerned and her eyebrows furrowed as she considered it. After a moment, she made up her mind and looked up at him again.
"Alright, if you say so. The truth is that I'm not from this world and...a friend dropped me off here."
He understood why she didn't think he'd believe her. In the past he'd theorized about the existence of alternate timelines or even a multiverse, however it hadn't been feasible to explore such theories. He still didn't have the ability to properly do so and even if he did, it could prove dangerous to his own timeline. Who knew what entities existed beyond the veil of reality?
He tapped his clavicle with a phalanx in a thoughtful way. "i see...then why are you here? what do you want from me?" he asked carefully.
She opened her mouth to answer but shut it again with a frown. After a couple seconds of contemplation, she tried again.
"I'm here because of you..."
"why is that?"
She took a deep breath and made eye contact with him. "I can sense how stressed you are and...how your soul is crying out in pain," she stated.
Baggs was a little surprised at how frank she was being right now. Still, he couldn't help but remain on edge. He knew how dangerous humans could be, even without magic, but he was a bit curious how she could sense his emotions.
"how do you know this?"
She pursed her lips as she tried to figure out the best way to answer his question. "It's a little complicated to explain but I've always had a talent for reading how people are feeling. I wouldn't exactly call it magic but it has similarities."
He wasn't sure what to think about how vague her answer was, but he didn't like this situation at all. She was pretending to act casual but he could tell that she was just as, if not more, on edge than he was. Yet she had been polite and actually had tried to relieve some of the tension between them. There was one thing that wasn't sitting well with him though and that was the fact that she seemed to want something from him.
Her gaze shifted from him and towards the discarded experiment on the floor. "I'm guessing whatever happened is why you're so stressed right now, huh?"
"you would be correct."
"Did you want to tell me about it?"
When he didn't answer immediately, she glanced back over at him and tilted her head in a questioning way.
"no, i wouldn't tell anyone, let alone you."
She didn't react to his harsh tone and simply nodded in an understanding way. "That's fine, we don't need to go into details. I can see you didn't get the results you wanted though. How many times have you tried to do this?" Her tone of voice was soft and she seemed to be choosing her words carefully so as to not upset him.
Baggs sighed and shifted in his chair uncomfortably. "nine times now," he muttered under his breath.
She inhaled sharply and he could feel that she was studying him. "I don't think I would've tried again after failing three times. It's impressive how persistent you are, at least in my opinion anyways," she remarked.
She asked a few more casual questions about various topics and he responded in kind. However, the longer the conversation went on, the more uneasy he began to feel. It was like she was trying to get him to feel more comfortable around her. The whole situation felt familiar and he knew why.
It was something he'd often done in the past.
If she was planning to do something, getting him to feel more at ease was the perfect first step.
He hated it.
Before she could ask another question, he interjected with one of his own. "i might be wrong here, but you have experience as a therapist, don't you?" He'd kept his tone even and leaned forward while speaking to express interest in what her answer would be.
She seemed surprised but soon smiled warmly at him. "Yes, I-"
No sooner had she responded did Baggs do what he should've done from the beginning. His magenta right eyelight expanded until it filled his entire socket and the pink swirled with blue to create a hypnotizing array that couldn't be ignored.
She fell easily under his control, just like everyone else before her, but in the split second it took to do so, she seemed to realize what he was doing. She had a look of shock but there was also a strange glint in her teal eyes. She lunged for him and while he tried to move away, her hand closed around his left forearm in a vice grip.
His mind was suddenly flooded with an overwhelming sense of compassion and empathy. However, the feelings weren't his own and for a moment, he was paralyzed from the shock.
He was stronger though.
A simple thought was all it took for the feelings to fade.
Baggs leaned his skull back against the chair and let out a heavy sigh. He'd never had anyone react like that before. Violence sure, but never using...Intent. It didn't make any sense...
He looked down at her, half sprawled on the ground where she'd collapsed and half sitting up almost leaning on top of him, all the while she was still clutching onto his arm. She was stronger than he'd first assumed and he was lucky she hadn't had a chance to go for the kill. But...that wasn't what she'd even tried to do in the first place...
why didn't you follow through and attack me? he asked, using his own thoughts to communicate.
Her expression remained passive and her body didn't move at all, meaning she was still completely under his control. He wanted an answer though and used his magic to gently prob into her mind.
"...I only wanted to help you," was her silent response.
how does any of that help? he pressed further.
"I could feel how much you were hurting. I want to help you with shouldering it, if you'll let me..."
how is trying to influence my mind and emotional state supposed to help?
"I wasn't trying to control you... You didn't believe that I truly wanted to help earlier...so I had to show you."
Baggs narrowed his eye sockets suspiciously. He knew she was telling the truth as no one could lie to him when under his direct control. However, he was a bit intrigued as to what her goal had been.
what else would you do to help me? he asked.
"..." Her thoughts were silent, although he could sense that she was struggling to come up with an answer. "...Anything you allow me to. Although earlier I was thinking of trying to comfort you if you don't mind that," she finally answered.
He decided to give her a chance and relaxed the hold his magic had on her mind. He didn't release her just yet though.
She was still for a moment before she let go of his forearm and sat up properly on the floor. Her eyes never left his and she remained docile, not making any sudden movements.
"May I hug you?" she asked in a soft whisper.
"you may."
She dragged herself to her feet and shuffled towards him. Her movements were slow and unsteady, likely from the effects of the hypnosis, but she managed to stiffly wrap him in a hug.
Baggs let her hold onto him for a couple of minutes before gently pushing her arms away. It felt rather odd allowing a stranger to touch him like that but it wasn't entirely unpleasant either.
Her eyebrows were slightly furrowed with concern and she tilted her head. "I can sense that you're still tense. Would you like it if I tried something different?"
He gave her a curious look. "what else can you do?"
"Well, I know how to use magic to absorb negative feelings."
"i know most humans are incapable of using magic, so could you explain your magic and who taught you how to use it?" he asked.
She nodded and sat down on the ground again, although she crossed her legs this time so she could be more comfortable. "I've always been good at empathizing with people but I can do two things with my magic. I can transfer my own positive emotions to someone else by touching them or I can replace their negative emotions with my own positive ones, absorbing them into my own soul."
She paused for a moment and, sensing that she wasn't willing to reveal who had taught her, Baggs focused his magic again to probe her into telling him.
"His name is Nightmare and...he was also the one who brought me here..." she whispered.
Baggs felt a wave of annoyance flicker over him at the mention of the god of negativity. They'd only met in passing before and it hadn't been a pleasant one.
"Are you okay? I can try comforting you again..." She asked quietly, having apparently sensed his change in demeanor.
He shook his skull and sighed. "no. tell me why he sent you."
Her passive expression faltered and her eyebrows knit together with concern. Still, she was powerless to refuse a direct command in this state.
"Nightmare can sense your negative emotions and he's become very interested in your work," she muttered. "However, I'm not here to convince you to make any deals... I just want to help you."
He knew she was telling the truth and yet he couldn't shake the feeling that Nightmare was using this situation in an attempt to establish good relations. It didn't sit well with him at all.
Baggs fully released his hold on her soul and mind, his right eyelight returning to its usual size and magenta colour as he did so. He could take back the control at anytime and she wouldn't even be able to notice if he did, but he didn't tell her that.
She inhaled sharply and her eyes flicked around the room before settling on him again. As she did so, her body jerked backwards as if to instinctively get away from him but she stopped herself. It was incredibly apparent to any outside observers that she was struggling to remain calm and not freak out, which was commendable.
Baggs stood up and offered her one of his hands to help her stand up as well. "i should apologize for being such a poor host. would you like something to drink?" he inquired.
She grimaced and shook her head but still accepted his help. "Please don't take this the wrong way, but I don't trust you after...that." She looked away from him and dusted her clothing off.
"i understand your concern, but i have no intentions of harming you." He smiled and tried to change the subject with a different question. "may i ask how you came into nightmare's service? you don't seem like the type someone like him would select for his...work."
She smiled while recalling the memory before answering. "You're right, I actually met and befriended his henchmen first. He saw fit to rescue me when my own world collapsed."
He raised his bonebrows in surprise. "I'm amazed you're still in one piece," he remarked dryly.
She chuckled and waved him off. "Well, I have a few more scars now compared to before, but those are mostly from learning self-defense. I'm not deployed for the usual missions so I haven't had to kill anyone yet."
"what missions are you usually deployed on then?"
"I am tasked with the missions that require more tact than what Nightmare himself is able to perform."
It seemed he'd been right from the beginning.
Neither of them said anything for several long seconds. Finally, she put her hand on his shoulder and gave him a gentle smile.
"Is there anything else I can do to help you? I don't know about you but I'd like to at least end this meeting on a pleasant note," Minty commented.
Baggs nodded slightly. "i suppose i can afford to take a break for a little while..." he hummed.

And the winner is... Writing Requests!
Thank you to everyone who voted! â (â ^â oâ ^â )â ïŒ
So, I will be accepting up to five requests, depending how many of you are interested of course. (I may accept a few more though.)
Classic Papyrus Oneshot [Completed]
Doctor's Orders [Completed]
A Gentle Soldier [Completed]
[Open]
[Open]
I will write for any existing Undertale character, preferably those who have been in the fandom for a while or have easily accessible information so I can research them. I usually write Reader inserts (second person pov) but I can write OC's too.
The drabble will be at least 2,000 words but probably less than 3,000 words, depending on how much detail I end up going into.
I will not write:
Smut/graphic sexual content (I know a few of you are minors and I'm not comfortable writing that anyways.)
Anything endangering minors such as graphic violence or anything sexual.
Gore (Blood and injuries is fine, just nothing intense like torture.)
Incest, Sanscest, Papscest, or Fontcest. (You can ship what you like but I don't like any of these and I will not be writing them.)
Obvious kinks (I shouldn't have to list them all here but if they make me squirm, I am not writing them. Liking teeth or claws, pulling hair, or being slightly dominant in a situation are fine though.)
These are basic guidelines and I may add onto them if I realize I forgot anything. As much as it pains me, I cannot write everything and I have the right to reject your request if it makes me uncomfortable.
That said, I will write:
Reader x Character or OC x Character (I would prefer to write F/M as I am a female but I can write gender neutral too.)
Fluff (This is easily my favorite thing to write!)
Spicy (I also love writing this but I'm still new at it so no promises. Sex will be treated as a fade to black if you want that still.)
Frans or Soriel (I do ship these so long as everyone is consenting adults. I may consider other ships but no promises as I don't really ship any other non-canon pairings.)
Angst (I do like writing this, however, I can't promise it will be good. I prefer happy endings but if you want to see a character suffer, I can do that.)
I may also add onto this list if I remember something else. I have only ever written the Underfell brothers, some of the Classic brothers, G!Sans, and the Bad Sans' including Nightmare, Horror, Dust, and Killer.
I'm interested in writing Cross, Dr. Baggs, Dream, Ink, Error, Fresh, the Swapfell brothers, the Mafiafell brothers, the Underswap brothers, Farmtale, or various other interpretations such as cryptids, sirens, or different settings like a Western.
Have any questions about something not listed here? Please shoot me a message!
I'm doing this for fun but I want you to enjoy the process as well. No promises how long these will take to write as I'm generally pretty busy. I will update this post as the requests come in and unless you don't want me to, I will be posting these requests on my AO3 as well as on here.
Here's to a fun year! Thank you for reading this far if you did! (â ă€â â§â âœâ âŠâ )â ă€
